How I Play My Level 115 Bard

How I play my level 115 EverQuest Bard as a box: the memorized songbook, the /melody twist with the four elemental chants, the one-button multibind, the ADPS from Insult and Song of Suffering, AAs, and gear at 115.

February 6, 2025

I box this Bard, so almost all of her value is ADPS and support: a big memorized songbook run through a /melody twist, plus a one-button multibind that fires the discs and swarm pets. At 115 the songs land on pets too, and I run a pet-heavy group, so every buff, chant, and synergy proc multiplies across the whole box. The Insult synergy and Song of Suffering are what make the Bard, in my opinion, the best ADPS class I play.

Session Overview

How the Bard is wired at 115.

  • Role: pure ADPS and support in a 6-box. The Bard is not my main, so I keep one spell set and do not swap songs mid-fight.
  • Songs hit pets: at 115 every Bard song lands on pets, and I run a pet-heavy group, so the haste, chants, and synergies all multiply.
  • Aura choice: I now run the regen aura instead of the old haste aura to help the group's resources. The melody is long, so an aura can drop off during it.
  • Leveling mindset: from 100 up I am mostly just bumping each song to the next rank. These mid levels are fly-by.
  • Timing caveat: I have only worked out the melody timings for a 125 Bard (max level), so the 115 melody is not fully optimized.

The Songbook

What I keep memorized and what each song does.

Group buffs and regen

  • Aria (group spell-damage song): increases the whole group's spell damage by 46%. It decays on spells over 115, and I get a replacement version at 116.
  • Chorus (current regen song): current-level health, mana, and endurance regen. Important for keeping the group's resources up, so it rides in the melody.
  • Current-level haste song: 60% attack speed, +311 strength and attack, a 931-point damage shield, and a 5% bonus. Everybody wants this, pets included.
  • Composite Psalm: the current progression song. Restores 4,749 HP plus some mana and endurance, buffs melee-skill damage, and adds 8,400 magic, fire, and cold damage to group spells cast between level 106 and 120. One-minute reuse, so it rides the end of the melody.
  • Lively Crescendo: current regen song. A 34-second buff that dumps endurance, mana, and HP to the group when it ends.

The four elemental chants

  • Chant of Flame, Poison, Frost, and Disease: four damage-over-time chants that all hit for roughly the same (about 38,000), and each carries a matching resistance debuff. They cost me no mana, and I twist them between the other songs. A crit tick landed for 386,000. At 18-second duration I can keep all four up.
  • Who benefits: fire helps my mages and wizard, poison helps the shaman, frost helps the wizard, disease helps the shaman and Shadow Knight. Only magic resist is left undebuffed.

ADPS procs

  • Arcane Symphony: the current arcane song. Grants Arcane Sympathy so allies deal 15,000 extra when they cast a spell or strike in melee, for 12 seconds or four attacks. It is a chance, not 100%.
  • Insult (Claws of Veeshan): 42,000 damage on a 5-second recast, and I picked the version that does not push the target back. It adds 135,000 to the group's next melee or direct damage hit, and everybody (pets included) gets a charge. Do it as often as possible.
  • Song of Suffering (Oradon): companions deal 31,000 magic damage on melee strikes and shed some hate. It is purely a melee ADPS, so casters only benefit if they are meleeing.

Utility

  • Silence (lull): lasts about 32 seconds, long enough to lull a few targets. I use it on packs like the Howling Stones golems, then pull one.
  • Sonic Disruption: a light pull that does one point of damage. Any of the pull songs works here.

Why the Bard is the best ADPS: the Insult synergy, Arcane Sympathy, and Oradon strikes all stack across the group and every pet at once. Multiply one proc by six characters plus their pets and it is a huge amount of extra damage.

The Melody

Everything runs through /melody.

  • Rough order: insult, Aria, chant, chorus, poison chant, haste, frost chant, sympathy, disease chant, then insult again. Repeat up through slot 7 for three passes of song then chant.
  • The closer: on the last pass I add Song of Suffering, Lively Crescendo, and Composite Psalm, since Composite's one-minute reuse lets it ride the end.
  • Resource load: the melody is tuned so the mana and endurance songs are not too draining, but the Bard still burns her endurance and mana quickly.

Multibind (Button 5)

One key fires the discs and swarm pets.

  • Setup: X target 19 is my assist target on a fixed extended target (20 is the tank, 19 is the tank's target, 1 through 6 are my group). Pressing 5 turns on attack, pet attack, and pet swarm, then rolls everything below.
  • Bladed Song: a reverse damage shield, the target takes 5,000 every time it hits the tank.
  • Cacophony: 28,000 up front then 40,000 every 6 seconds for a minute, with a 50% chance to disrupt casting. On cooldown.
  • Song of Stone: summons three level 115 gargoyle swarm pets, which also feed the Mage's mini synergy.
  • Fierce Eye: +34% melee damage, +34% crit damage, +200% proc chance, plus a spell damage and crit-chance boost. On cooldown.
  • Quick Time: big attack power and accuracy, an extra attack, faster casts, and about -15% weapon delay. 10-minute reuse, cast on cooldown when off burn.
  • Funeral Dirge: the target takes 22% more melee damage and triggers Shrieking Death for 55,000.
  • Lyrical Prankster: summons five level 114 doppelgangers to distract for about 105 seconds.
  • Boastful Bellow: burns endurance for 30,000 damage, stuns up to level 116, lowers cold, fire, and magic resists by 20, and triggers Boastful Conclusion for 250,000. 12-second reuse and my biggest single hit.
  • Vainglorious Shout: shares Boastful Bellow's timer; a frontal cone version with the same 250,000 conclusion.
  • Rallying Solo: refills resources when I drop low; pair it with Paragon to top off fast.
  • Reflexive Rebuttal: an extra slash for 9,887 that returns 21,000 mana to the group. 10-minute reuse.

Resource note: I run the Bard near-empty most of the time. Boastful Bellow and the chants drain her, so I sit and Rally plus Paragon between pulls (a Beast Lord helps too).

Save the Day

Emergency tanking if the tank dies.

  • Dissonant Cord: lets the Bard pick up and tank the boss when the real tank goes down.
  • Last Stand and Shield of Notes: pop these at the same time to boost max health and armor class and cut incoming damage.
  • Deftdance / Death's Tone: avoid most attacks and riposte every round to survive longer.

Reality check: my gear is only group-level, so this is a maybe, but popping all of them together might just save a wipe.

AAs

No more autogrants past 115.

  • First priority: max the focus that boosts my chants as soon as 117, since nothing is granted for free from here on.
  • Then Synergy and Improved Chants: Improved Chants at 116 adds about 480, roughly 5% to all four chants.
  • Max the workhorses: Fierce Eye, Quick Time, Boastful Bellow, Cacophony, Funeral Dirge, and Song of Stone.
  • Damage lines: Burst of Power early, Destructive Cascade for DoT damage, and optionally Destructive Fury for bigger Insult hits.
  • Defense last: in a box the Bard should never be tanking, so I take the general defensive AAs after everything that adds damage or support.

Pace: Bards cap AAs quickly. I have maxed several Bards already, so it goes fast.

Gear and Weapons

Best group gear at 115.

  • Armor: velium threaded, the best group crafted set at 115. Raid gear is a big step up (the raid helm gives 350% song power versus 260% on the group helm).
  • Type-5 aug: the Seaglass aug from Claws of Veeshan, 80 heroic dexterity, which is the Bard stat to stack.
  • Weapons: I favor stun swords since I run a Shadow Knight rather than a Paladin. The proc rate is high enough to near stun-lock some targets. A vampiric-draw sword and remote-healing hammers are handy alternatives.
  • Slot focus: boots for singing, gloves for percussion, helm for brass (the Insult), arms for string, legs for wind. Get the best in each.
  • Power source: keep your best power source slotted; buy one with Overseer currency if it runs out.

The Bard Loop

  1. Pull: Silence the pack if needed, tag with Sonic Disruption.
  2. Engage: spam 5 for the multibind (attack, pets, Bladed Song, Cacophony, Fierce Eye, Song of Stone).
  3. Keep the melody running: Insult on cooldown for the 135,000 group synergy, chants twisted for the resistance debuffs.
  4. Burn: Quick Time, Boastful Bellow or Vainglorious Shout, Funeral Dirge, Reflexive Rebuttal.
  5. Recover: Rallying Solo plus Paragon between pulls when resources run dry.
  6. Emergency: if the tank dies, Dissonant Cord plus Last Stand plus Shield of Notes to try to save the day.

hello and welcome to how I play my level 115 Bard so we’re going to talk about the songs we’re going to talk about uh My Melody uh which is overly complex we’re going to talk about my multibind uh which I do use and I’ve switched up switched it up again since the last video uh so first up uh let’s talk about songs that I have memorized at all times and then we’ll talk about how we use those in a Melody which is the/ Melody to off play songs uh so we have first up ARA of the maror maror uh this increases the everybody in the group’s damage spell damage by 46% uh decays on spells over 115 right now we’re 115 we get this at 111 at 116 we will get a new version to replace this uh and if you’ve watched all my other videos for The Bard you’ll know that pretty much from level 100 and beyond all we’re doing is increasing the spell rank to the next spell uh but you can see here the increases attack speed by 25% triple attacks by 40 flurry by six and 35% chance for the pet to flurry now if you’ll remember in the previous videos I was doing the aura that was also doing the same thing I no longer do that uh I am using the regen Aura now to kind of help with resources in the group so that is more uh more or less that uh now I have a course of V now this is the current level health regen Mana regen endurance regen keep that in mind it’s very important uh so we you know it’s in the it’s in the uh Melody so we have that we have the current level hate in the melody also which is just uh you know 60% attack speed 311 strength attack uh a 931 Point damage Shield along with a 5% bonus increase so everybody wants this now keep in mind Bard songs at 115 hit all the pets so the pets benefit from this and we are a pet heavy group uh next up we have chant of flame chant of poison chant of frost and chant of disease uh these are the four uh damage overtime chants that The Bard gets they all do about the same amount of damage same everything right they are what 38 26 38 34 38 38 3829 uh all about the you know pretty much same now I I swis in my in My Melody I twist these in between every other song you can see here right when it hits it gets the chant of flame along with a resistance debuff you can see that one tick did 386,000 damage uh and the normal one hit did 98,000 damage so this is not damage to laugh at this is decent damage this is uh almost on par with say a DOT tick from the shaman uh keep that in mind now it does not take me cost me any Mana or anything I just you know do it right I can sit here and I can do this damage over and over again uh without doing it but they are 18sec duration so you know having a a melody of this right so what is that four five 7 so me four five 6 and 7 this will be all the chance in single Melody right you can just look at the damage we’re getting we’re twin casting this stuff and I believe at four of them we should be able to keep all four dots on at one time now this is a significant you know little bit of damage that we can do here uh 46 crit and 772 th000 crit critical twin cast lucky criticals so having these on the mob at all times one debuffs the resist for all four of these right uh the only thing we’re not getting here is Magic resist debuff so the fire one helps my Mages the M the poison one probably helps the shaman the frost one helps the wizard The Fire helps the wizard disease helps the shaman and Shadow Knight so it’s very important to do these uh in my opinion I could be wrong but I feel like they’re worth casting so I have them uh as the the next four spells uh followed by that Arcane Symphony Sy Symphony which is our current level Arcane spell this uh allows uh what does this see here fuels destructive power of your group members allowing them to strike with Arcane sympathy effect which deals 15,000 damage when they cast a spell or strike with melee and they’ll get this one right uh when making melee attacks it lasts for 12 seconds or four attacks right now this is not 100% uh I have a I have a monk on a different server with a Bard I’m like I’m like watching I mean he’s me he’s his melee goes by so fast you’re like whoa that’s crazy and I’m looking at it I’m like why is it not using the charges and then I read this again and I realized it’s a chance it’s not 100% but uh you can see here let’s uh let’s cast this for us there we go so we have four charges if we come over here to the combat dummy and just Flack him once right uh we didn’t we didn’t get one we got a uh lucky critical on the shaman buff uh there it is right there 51,000 strike from that melee right took well if I wasn’t uh casting it if I do it again see that’s that’s my weapon there we go another one right there guess I guess it’s not taking them off I don’t that’s funny uh you see there we got that one a lucky twin cast 270,000 so this is from a song proc effect we’re getting you know that kind of damage now multiply that by the rest of your group and all your pets that’s a lot of adps that I can provide to my group and you can just see here like I don’t know why it’s not taken down maybe like I feel like the song window bugs out a little bit sometimes um but I’m not singing the song anymore so it should wear off here in a second there’s another one 253,000 you know my belt proed should be pretty much done at this point but definitely a very nice thing to have to add to the group uh next up we have composite uh pm here this is our current level progression ability now I use the current level one uh because it’s slightly better uh it does take more resources but I feel like it just it’s worth the extra bit right so we have a 4749 hit point restore uh 20 25 mana and 295 endurance when it lands and then it also increases the M damage dealt by most melee skills by 2300 and uh whatnot and then it also adds 8,400 damage magic fire and cold between level 106 so every uh every spell that’s cast between 106 and 120 that is Magic fire or cold that boosts everybody in the group uh gets a damage bonus of 8,400 so nice little spell that’s a one minute reuse so it’s worth having uh then I have silence this is our current level LOL uh now you’ll know in if you watch the watch the Hobs and friend series uh I do use this sometimes now most of time I just pull and let Hobs figure it out um but in certain cases like howling stones in when we were finishing up that zone I lull all of the uh the Golems because four Golems at once uh is a flattened pancake of a tank like uh unless he’s seriously overgeared for the content and it is it is a sad thing to see but uh it works out pretty fine it lasts for a while like uh I don’t know if I can be able to see the duration here uh 32 seconds so that’s that’s long enough to cast it on a few different targets and then uh pull the one you want and I use Sonic disruption or sonic dis disturbance I guess uh to actually pull which just does a little bit of a little pull and then there’s uh different ones you can use if you want to use those displacement and does one point of damage yeah just uh whatever one you want I don’t think it really matters too much uh and then we have insult so this is yell and ax insult this is the level 115 from Claus ofan I perfect I specifically pick this one because it does not cause move back right uh the other insults and stuff like that will cause uh to push the target back and I’m just not about that so just like boom you know 42,000 damage right and then uh you can just Mell I think I can’t remember what the recast time is on it 5 seconds so you can just pretty much do this over and over if you wanted to and get some nice damage right like in that Melody we had before like here let’s let’s do this right so if we up up and then we hit 11 like that right so here’s just a temporary little Melody we can watch this this is going to you know pretty be pretty much be a really good uh amount of damage we can put out right just like tripping over my words here uh the cool thing about our insult line is it increases the damage of our next melee or direct damage attack by 135,000 points now that is an adps everybody gets one charge of that so if I come over here and I Flack him once right uh let’s see here where does that go goes in like other melee right maybe my melee where is that I don’t maybe I don’t have that one filtered out let me see let me get the charge again and we can find it here I think it’s that that hit right there all right so whack him uh there he is 140,000 melee damage right so every time I insult the creature I get and everybody else in my group including the pets every time they melee or c has the spell it does an extra 135,000 damage right like like let’s pop over to my wizard for a second right he’s right here he’s like oh yeah hey thanks for that uh Synergy uh I’m going to cast uh th let’s go like spell damage maybe I don’t know where this is going to show up let’s just cast our nuke here boom he did so much damage there uh let’s see where is it at right here uh it didn’t consume it so let me see here let’s do chaos Inferno that consumed it all right so it should be I think it’s here I really think it’s in this uh in this uh thing here so I’m believe it adds it to the spell damage here cuz it just like so much going on I can see that but that’s that’s actually that’s a lot of damage right at the end of the day it’s a lot of damage uh and you want to be doing the insult as much as possible now if you have a high a high Mele group you could really be kicking these out pretty quick like right like as fast as you could cast this you’re going to be you know be able to charge that so definitely something to consider when you’re building that out and then finally I have oron or oradin song of suffering grants your companions the ability to deal 31 1,000 magical damage to those they strike in melee C combat these strikes will lower the recip recipients hatred for the attacker by 2300 now this spell is purely melee and this is a you know obviously an adps for melee so if you’re not doing melee on your casters um you know you’re going to lose a little damage here because just because that’s how it is but if we cast this right go to spell damage so we have three charges turn this on twack it’s a chance it’s not a it’s not 100% see if we can get one of these to proc here come on now one of them proed where is it at here other melee maybe I think it goes into this melee pile I don’t see it oh there it is right there oradon strike so 167 lucky critical I mean that is insane amount of extra damage uh all the pets uh will receive that so you want all the pets meleeing all the melee characters receive it and all the casters receive it but if your casters are not meleeing uh they’re not going to be able to take advantage of that Synergy uh that you can create there um but this kind of cements the vard as the best adps class in the game with all of these abilities and then finally I have a lively Crescendo the current level of this uh which is just a regeneration spell uh now it works differently is uh like if we cast it here it will put right here 34 second buff and then when this goes away uh everybody gets some endurance mana and hit points so it is different but uh it’s definitely something I have in my melody and we’ll talk about that here in one moment but that’s all the songs I do normally I don’t change my spell set out at all during combat just because this is a box it’s not my like main b or anything like that so I I to put a little less effort into it uh I use the aura of the Val Valera which is the Regeneration one uh you could use the other one if you want because the melody is long some of the the ARA may drop off during that until they fix the new command added Q Melody um a lot of this this is complicated right and uh let’s kind of talk about the melody now now this probably is not the best I’m going to just say this I I I have I’ve worked out the timings for a 125 Bard but I have not worked out the timings for a anything else I I a 125 is Max Lev right now so that’s when I that’s when I put the effort into it right these are fly by levels in my opinion so it’s it’s going to go by pretty quick but the gist is I’m going to insult Arya chant uh chorus don’t even know what the spell is poison uh haste uh what is that one Frost sympath sympathy and then disease then we’re going to insult again repeat that all the way to seven right insult repeat that again and that’s that’s three iterations of the same you know song chant song chant song chant and then here on the last one we’re going to do 12 which is song is suffering 13 which is Crescendo and then nine which is composite right because composite has a one minut reuse we just throw it at the end uh this is I don’t I haven’t timed it out how long this actually is to do but it should give enough that it’s not too resource intensive on the spells that take uh mana and endurance but it The Bard still drains her her mana and endurance pretty quick but you can see there it’s it works for me and my my the way I play like here let’s just play it right now right so we got insult uh ARA my pets are attacking cuz they’re all the same key uh you know disease uh fire poison now and it just it’s just going to go right that plays at all times uh you know Melody’s all built into the game and everything so there’s nothing there but at the same time uh all this is going here let’s stop that for right now uh I do a multibind now my multibind is pretty simp simple I hit the five key on my character and it will do all the stuff that I talk about from this point on X Target 19 is the assist Target I have the I’ve explained it in every single one of my setup videos my extended Target is a fixed extended Target where number 20 is the tank 19 is the Tank’s Target and then 1 through six are my group everything else is the boms we fighting right so I get my assist Target I turn on my attack I do pet attack I do pet swarm I have swarm pets running around and if I have a Charmed pet which I don’t do anymore because it’s just a lot of extra effort uh that would also attack early on it’s nice but at this point it’s not uh bladed song is the first uh ability in our uh multibind here so this will cause the target to take 5,000 damage every time it hits the tank it’s insane right nice little reverse damage Shield cacophony here uh when activated deals 28,000 damage and then 40,000 every 6 seconds for 1 minute and has a 50% chance to disrupt their casting every 6 seconds for 1 minute so it’s a really nice song there I do it on cool down song of stone is our one of our swarm pets this will summon three level 115 gargoyles to attack the target um and it’s just extra damage and uh more chaos to the fight uh the Swarm pets do benefit the Mage in my group uh for the of the mini line so the more pets we have out there the better damage she does then we have Fierce eye which is our uh so this is another adps buff increases melee damage by 34% critical damage by 34% uh chance to to proc by 200% and the let’s see here the chance of damaging or healing spells to by 13 the damage or the healing of your spells by 133% I’m not 100% sure what that actually means increases something by 133% and the Chance your damage spells in the healing spells will critical it’s by 177% so I think that’s just increasing the spell damage by or healing by 13 and the critical chance of that by 17 and that was all melee based right so 80ps everybody’s getting some actual help quick time enhances the rhythm of your group everybody within 100 ft uh increases attack power by 1632 accuracy by 90 chance to land with secondary hit with two-handed weapon or one additional hit with a one-handed weapon so this is like a double attack or um I think it’s double attack and your primary and secondary by 20% reduces the gas time of spells and songs by 7 Seconds oh wait I’m reading the next tier 0.5 seconds on that um base weapon delay by 15% insane right like and it obviously it gets even better in the next rank and there’s only one more rank uh and that’s it what 120 so insane increases in damage right there right I do it on cool down uh it is a one or 10minute reuse so 10 minutes my I cut off anything greater than 10 minutes is a burn anything less than 10 minutes I do it on cool down all right uh let’s see here next up we have funeral durge when activated increases the damage your target takes from melee attacks by 22% and triggers shrieking death which deals 55,000 damage it’s pretty sane now um you could arguably say that you would want to save this one uh but I do it on cool down just cuz I I’m bad at saving things uh next up is lyrical prankster summon five level 114 doppelgangers with hatred equal to your own to distract your target for up to 105 seconds so this summons like little mini Mees if you will that run around just cos Mayhem I don’t know if they count as swarm pets but when I do pet swarm they do switch targets so pretty nice I have tracking in my uh in my little uh multibind here just so this is always up and I can you know I use is boxer right and it multi lexes the screens so on my other monitor each of these screens is little cubes and I can look at it in and I can glance over here and I can see when she’s not you know the active character like there’s a red name up here right that means there might be a named up in the zone and I can kind of investigate F further further by looking at her screen uh we have boastful Bellow next uh which I believe I took this out in the 110 video uh because it was destroying my endurance uh but it’s uh yeah it’s back now when activated consumes endurance to deal 30,000 damage a stun to 116 or lower mobs and lowers the resists of cold fire and Magic by 20 points and then triggers boastful uh conclusion which deals 250,000 damage this is a huge huge damage ability for The Bard it’s a 12se second reuse now I do it on cool down uh what does that mean that means I have to Med every once in a while with my Bard but that’s okay uh I run The Bard pretty much empty most of the time like no resources but I do run a beast Lord now so I get a little bit of that back when I do that but it is what it is uh rallying solo here will regenerates you know help regenerate resources when we’re lower than I believe uh certain amount like 30% right uh so if I if I sit down I rallying solo and then I focus Paragon or Paragon I get my resources back really quick so it works out pretty well in that regard that I can uh I can kind of get those resources back uh next up we have reflexive rebut rebuttal I guess however you want to say that um it’s uh just an extra one-handed slashing attack for 9887 on the target which uh restores 21,000 Mana to the group so I do that on cool down it is a what 10-minute reuse definitely worth doing and then van vain glorious shout now I think I had this yeah so this is on the same timer of bful bell I don’t know why I put it back in there right before this but it’s about the same damage as bful Bell like literally like the same thing as B isn’t it so when activated consumes endurance to deal three uh 30,000 where’s bful Bell what’s the difference between these so it does 250,000 at the end does I don’t know this see feels feels weird that they’re the exact same ability here this 250,000 this one vangor shout okay yeah I see the difference so voria shout is a cone in front of me so this does AOE whereas uh Bell was single Target for that stun all right so that’s the difference between that I put it in there at the last minute thinking I was something else but I didn’t realize they share the same timer all right uh so that’s my that’s my multi Pine right I come over here I hit five that’s all I do and you can see here all the abilities just firing off all my little pets are out you can see the amount of damage let’s get our Melody going too and that’s that’s pretty much how I play the bar all right like that’s the gist of it now there’s some nuance and stuff that I think is worth mentioning uh that we should talk about here so let’s stop this and we’ll do a full parsing when we do we’re going to do zandar as a group and you’ll see the like the full the full parsing of uh everybody and where they all find that’s a good fight for doing that kind of stuff because he’s he’s in a fixed location and I can start it whenever I want all right uh so another ability that I don’t have in the multibind but is worth mentioning now I have a character on another server and I you know group with real people with him and I grouped with a real B he’s you know B the raids and uh like the Tank died and he popped dis dis uh dissonant cord and just started tanking the boss like a champ and as you can see here this is what this ability is for the bargain save the day uh now when you do that you want to probably also want to pop like last stand here to increase our maximum health and armor class and maybe Shield a note to you know lower that damage also but that is you know something like you know when my tank dies in these videos like it’s pretty much I’m done but if I pop these three AA uh at the same time right I feel like I might be able to save the day now I don’t have fantastic gear I’m still in well I guess this one has vum threaded uh vum threaded but it’s still not you know that great of gear compared to uh some of the other stuff you can get but it is uh it is you know possibly quite possible that I could you know save the day with the bar there so you know maybe in the videos we’ll try it out at some point you know if the Hobs dies I’ll pop it on me do that now I believe there’s thousand blades over here uh no that one just increases my damage death tone yeah death tone right here uh this one here will allow us to avoid most attacks and do a wield every round so we can pop that one also and not get even more hit but you know it doesn’t it just you know depends on how that all works out if I was just playing The Bard I would you know do some things different in the the sense that I would uh you know probably make sure that I’m doing some of the stuff a little bit more precise um but as a box I don’t think it really matters too much but you see there it is uh pretty good so uh let’s talk about gear like I said I wasn’t in the best gear but I am in the best group gear for 115 this is the vum threaded gear um I forgot I stripped my uh my 120 bar that I don’t play anymore but you can see here and the best uh type five you can get is the Seaglass krio from Claus ofan this is a uh 80 deck do or 80 deck uh heroic decks and heroic decks is the stat you’re going to go for for a Bard and stuff like that now weapon wise now this is just what I had but I would say you’d probably want the sword there’s a sword I think I might have one on me uh what is this one here that’s the life tap sword um toxic fire no these are all stun weapons I like stun weapons and don’t get me wrong uh there’s a sword I think I have it on my other my 125 bar there’s a um The Sword version I don’t know if it’s this one but the vampire draw is pretty nice so you don’t have to heal yourself another one here is the the Hammers uh this is the the ROM remote healing Hammer here this is a nice you know a nice play you can do here put uh two remote healing hammers on and then your targeted Target healing so if you your group is you know having some issues with healing you know having those in your bag would be useful uh for some reason I like stunning uh cuz I’m not running a paladin right I’m running you know a shadow Knight and having that stun like you can see how fast how much it’s proing right one two three like it procs quite a bit and you can see here he’s like completely stunned like I could probably almost stun lock some stuff right like with the sheer amount of stuns now in practice that’s not really how that actually works the training dummy is dumb but definitely something to really think about I don’t know why I have two progs on this one oh so this this Aug here gives me vampire strike and uh I don’t have the unlock for the other ORS so so definitely something to you know think about there there is a mission in lauran song where you do have to stun and I always use my Bard for stuns even though I was running a paladin I still use my part for stuns because how often it goes off right like I mean you just see that right you just put two stun weapons on and you go to town and uh it’s just a real good use of The Bard in that kind of group now I did run one stun on the on the Paladin but it’s you know not important uh other other things you’re going to want to focus on is the like the boots for singing the gloves for percussion and help helmet no helmet for brass can’t remember what wind is string is arms where the hell is wind legs yeah legs is wind you want to make sure you have the best you can get now uh with that said group gear and raid gear is like completely different let me see if I can find some uh raid gear uh let’s see vum bam and DOW is the best 115 uh raid gear you can wear at the moment let’s see here Bard search here we go uh we want gloves of course there’s no gloves uh let’s just do no not breast plate breast plate doesn’t have it uh Helm yeah the helm has a 35 modifier and the group one is 26 now these numbers don’t change right so if I bought this helmet for uh for this Bard I would need to upgrade it for a while now you know this 350 like look at the difference there 260% versus 350% extra power out of your song Right gloves being the best which obviously aren’t for sale now the string here 350 on the arms um legs or wind obviously those ones aren’t for sale either uh because those are going to be the best ones you can get I don’t think bracer has anything on it so definitely you know something to consider there is raid gear is going to make you even better and gloves uh being percussion will influence the damage that your your uh chance to and uh brass is the insult so that’s going to go from your helmet so some stuff there a a y uh let’s talk about that for a little bit uh you’re going to want to go into focus and you want to get trador Focus maxed out ASAP so at 117 that’s going to be the first thing I do so because at 115 we get no more Auto grants from this point forward so we have to uh do the work on our own unless uh they make ter of luck and free to play I believe and that’s when it’ll become autog granted unless it’s already free to play uh and maybe we’ll get something at 116 I don’t think we are uh I just leveled the character and I don’t believe he got anything from 116 to 120 but uh Synergy number one uh I like to then go for ex uh improved chance get that maxed out like at 116 get that cuz look at adds you know 480 that is uh you know 5% increased to all my chance so that’s pretty nice uh bars are pretty easy to get Max AA on like I’ve done it like four times now on all my bars and it’s just it’s pretty quick um you want to max out Fierce eye quick time ASAP probably boastful Bellow cacophony uh durge uh song of Stone all the stuff you use you want to Max those out as soon as possible now I go for burst to power pretty early in my uh my a for The Bard along with destructive Cascade that adds more dot damage uh burst power does melee damage destructive Cascade is going to increase your dot damage uh you could probably pick up destructive Fury if you want to get more uh bigger hits out of the insult but I don’t feel like the insult is really contributing that much damage from the spell as much as the the proc that it gives via the Synergy so uh I don’t know the math behind that so I’m not 100% sure but anything you use regularly like if you’re doing more chance you’re soloing you’re going to focus on the AOE I mean the do the dot based stuff right and then after I finish all that I go get the general and I work on defensive stuff right in practice my Bard should not get hit right like that’s that’s that’s just how it is right The Bard dies all the time but in practice The Bard should never get hit it should be something should be tanking at all time tanking everything all times so uh I don’t really focus on that I focus on anything that will increase the bar’s damage and or support I.E trador Synergy is the number one thing I go for and then I go for anything that increase my damage over here uh you can also get the insults for the uh the insults the insults Focus uh which will obviously increase you know 5% per tick uh on that which is pretty nice you’re going to want like safs insult if you do the one that doesn’t push back but uh depending on how you you play that out you you may you know run multiple insults right so just depends on how you’re playing your bar I played mine this way uh but that is everything I got to say about The Bard I don’t even have a power source so uh that’s a that’s make sure you have your best power source you can get I don’t know why I don’t have one on this one uh I guess it ran out do I have overseer currency I have a little so I can go buy one but uh definitely definitely worth doing as much as you can there uh for that kind of stuff little little optimizations are useful but uh just depends so if you have any questions or comments please let me know this is just how I play my Bard you might play your Bard completely different you might main a Bard and do things 100% different uh I box my Bard uh and I think the general idea of this is you know pretty sound for for most of this I I haven’t I’ve have done this I think six times I’ve done a lot of BS and uh I feel like this is the best version of the B I’ve done uh at this point so if you have any questions comments let me know uh thank you very much for watching please have a fantastic day for
