How I Play My Level 130 Monk

A walkthrough of my level 130 Monk setup. Progressive build covering the Wheel of Fists XII synergy chain, the Uncia's Fang attack line, the multibind that fires every disc on a single button, the burn sequence, gear focus at 130, and how the monk pulls 1.4 to 5 million DPS depending on the mission.

January 25, 2026

The level 130 Monk is one of the strongest melee ADPS classes in the game thanks to the Wheel of Fists XII synergy chain, near-permanent group damage uplift, and a Five-Point Palm that costs almost nothing. Everything fires off the 5 button. This guide covers the disc rotation, the burn sequence, gear focus, and the durability tools that let the monk solo content if the tank goes down.

Melee ADPS One Button Rotation Box Friendly Self-sufficient
Auto-attack only~900k-1.1M DPS
Multibind sustained~1.4M DPS (dummy)
Mission peak5-6M DPS

Session Overview

What's on the bar at 130.

  • Role: Pure melee DPS plus group ADPS via Wheel of Fists XII synergy. Top three melee ADPS class.
  • Gear: Mostly Outer Brood with Uprising bits. 51 DPS two-hander. Holding for tier 3 Soulforge XXX of Unraveling Order rather than buying tier 2.
  • Hit points: ~800k. AC ~10,300 with Violet Conch of the Tempest. Surprisingly close to a warrior in survivability.
  • Multibind: Everything on the 5 button. Push once, the whole rotation fires.

Multibind Foundation

The plumbing under the rotation.

  • /xtar 19: Auto-targets whatever the tank has targeted. No /assist needed, no pause needed.
  • Attack on, merc assist on, stand: Repairs anything that fell off the previous round. Stand handles feign death and AoE knockdowns automatically.
  • Group slots: 1-6 are group, 7+ are mobs being attacked.

The Wheel of Fists XII Synergy

Why monk is top-tier ADPS.

  • Wheel of Fists XII (level 130): Synergy ability. 100% chance to trigger Master Synergy via the focus AA.
  • Master Synergy: +36% base weapon damage to the entire group (including pets and swarm pets) for 18 seconds or 120 attacks.
  • Cooldown: 30 seconds between Wheel of Fists XII activations. With gear-side reductions you get nearly 100% uptime.
  • Tiger Claw component: Wheel of Fists XII itself is a 1,037 base damage Tiger Claw on top of the buff.

Group impact: Every melee in the group gets 36% extra damage on near-permanent uptime. The monk pays for itself just by pressing 5.

Core Discipline Rotation

Everything bound to the 5 key.

  • Wheel of Fists XII: Synergy proc, on cooldown.
  • Uncia's Fang (level 124, Timer 17): Hand-to-hand attack for 1,689 plus a 22,901 magical attack. 1 minute reuse. Not upgraded in the current expansion so still using the 124 version.
  • Drunken Monkey Style: Random damage buff. Activate and hope for something useful.
  • Lifewalker's Synergy: Three flying kicks for 1,800 each, applies a debuff causing the target to take +125% damage from flying kicks.
  • Fatewalker's Precision Strike: 1,581 throwing attack with bonus throwing follow-ups.
  • Vera's Searing Shuriken: The only other throwing attack on the bar. Low damage but free.
  • Curse of Seventeen Facets: +20,000 damage from damage shields on the target. If struck 112 times, triggers a 462,000 doom on curse-lift. 30 second reuse, fire on cooldown.
  • Swift Reflexes: Blocks the next 3 melee hits and deals 395 damage back. 5 minute reuse, 1 hour buff. Endurance regenerates fast enough to ignore the cost. Quietly overpowered.
  • Reciprocal Form (rank 4): +1,800 1H, +3,191 2H, +2,281 special attack damage. 5 minute reuse, 10k endurance. ~3% of the bar.
  • Swift Tail's Chant: Group restores 1,400 endurance and absorbs 3% melee damage as endurance for the duration. 10 minute reuse.
  • Zan Fi's Whistle: Passive +24% melee damage, +530 1H blunt, +1,075 2H blunt, +800 flying kick. Procs Zan Fi's Echo for 280,000 damage.
  • Two-Finger Wasp: +180% Tiger Claw / Eagle Strike / Dragon Punch damage for 1 minute. 3 minute reuse.
  • Five-Point Palm: Consumes 2% HP for 470,000 damage plus a 1,100 tail rake. Free with 14k HP regen.
  • Improved Intimidation: +65% Tiger Claw / Eagle Strike / Dragon Punch damage for 30 seconds plus a 3 second stun.
  • Disarm: On the multibind for the situations that need it.
  • Aureate's Bane: Outer Brood curse cleanse. Costs nothing if there's no curse, free to leave on the bind.

Tiger Claw vs Eagle Strike

Two attack flavors, two purposes.

  • Eagle Strike: Triggers Divine Surge of Battle for 950 endurance back. Use when endurance is tight.
  • Tiger Claw: Pure damage, no resource refund.
  • Round Kick: Stun option.
  • Flying Kick: Highest sustained damage option for the special slot.
  • Default: Tiger Claw on the bar, swap to Eagle Strike when the endurance bar starts dipping.

Always-On Buffs

Standing self buffs.

  • Master's Aura: Level 70 monk aura, still relevant.
  • Familiar: Current expansion familiar.
  • Violet Conch of the Tempest: +78 AC, 13 damage shield click.

Burn Sequence

Stacking everything for peak DPS.

  • Silent Strikes: Aggro reduction. Open with this.
  • Focus of Destructive Force: Single-target damage focus.
  • Infusion of Lightning: Proc trigger for 5,000-10,000 per hit.
  • Spire of the Sensei: Damage and crit scaling.
  • Breastplate click (Seven Chakra's Healing Technique): Next 20 flying kicks proc Demon Crusher for 131,000 each. Soulforge XXX of Unraveling Order upgrade hits harder.
  • Heel of Zagali: 30 second flying-kick damage boost, 15 minute reuse.
  • Heron's Stance: Burn slot.
  • Eagle's Symmetry: Triggers extra Tiger Claw attacks.
  • Speed Focus: Attack speed boost. Shares the discipline timer.
  • Terror Palm: Damage discipline. Same timer slot, fires when Speed Focus rolls off.
  • Iron Fist Discipline / Bahamut's Rage / Two Pose Stance: Lower-level disciplines for the 90+ second mark. Some don't stack.
  • Glyph of Ultimate Power: Slot zero when max AA. Not yet on this character.

Burn 8 timing: Spam button 7 then button 8 in sequence. Heel of Zagali fires off 7, Eagle's Symmetry off 8. As Heel falls off after 30s, hitting 8 again triggers Speed Focus. 30s later it triggers Terror Palm. The discipline slot does the cycling for you.

Defensive Tools

Why the monk can solo if the tank dies.

  • Improved Mend: 25 second reuse, restores nearly full HP. Bound to numpad 2, not on the multibind.
  • Earth Force Stance: 24 second duration, 3 minute reuse. Better than warrior Final Stand for the duration. Pop after a battle res while the tank gets back up.
  • Delayed Death: 1 minute duration, 10 minute reuse, no discipline slot cost.
  • Counterforce Discipline: Absorbs 15% incoming damage and procs an attack-slow on the target. ~72 second duration, 10 minute reuse.
  • Swift Reflexes: Already on the multibind, blocks 3 hits.

Solo capability: Monk + shaman + bard cleared level 125 named in Outer Brood without a warrior. Mend plus Earth Force keeps the monk standing as a backup tank.

Gear Targets at 130

What to aim for, slot by slot.

  • Two-hander: Bo Staff of Unraveling Order.
  • Armor: Soulforge XXX of Unraveling Order.
  • Ring: Rings of the Harbinger (The Outer Brood).
  • Neck: Collars of Legacies Lost (Laurion's Song).
  • Mask: Mask of the Vortex (Shattering of Ro).
  • Power source: Riven Arcana Slayer Source.

Hello and welcome to how I play my level 130 monk. Now, this is going to be a progressive video from uh the 125 video that was released earlier uh earlier in the past and I’m not I’m going to try to cover as much as I can, but uh it if I miss something, it’s going to probably be in that video. Now, we’re going to talk about disciplines, we’re going to talk about how I multi-bind all my keys together so that it it provides me a single button to uh do everything. So, see here, all my buttons are bound to five, right? Five is my button. All right. So, now that we have that out of the way, uh let’s mark Let’s mark a target real quick. There we go. All right. Now, we have a target. So, uh the first thing that I do uh is my spam button, all right? So, X target 19, attack on, merc assist, stand, right? So, that does quite a bit bit of stuff, right? If my merc is not on, it will make my merc assist. If I my attack is off, it’ll turn my attack on and it will get my assist target. You can see X target 19 right here is the tank’s target. So, my tank as soon as he targets something, it populates X target 19 and I I don’t have to do an assist. I just have to do an X target 19. No pause is necessary, never needed it, never will do it. Um you can see here, my group is one through six and then seven beyond is uh the mobs that are being attacked. So, >> [music] >> uh stand is for the case where I’m FD. So, if I feign death, right? I can’t move. I can’t move. But, if I hit uh I hit five, I stand right back up. So, uh that is kind of the uh the magic there. Uh there’s several mobs in the game that do FD you and uh you need to be able to stand up and this just makes it so I don’t have to look at this character when I’m spamming the multi-bind. All right. Next up is wheel of fist. This is a level 130 ability. This is our synergy ability. So, uh so, you can purchase uh focus da da da master synergy right here. So, when you use anything from the wheel of fist line, you have a 100% chance to trigger master synergy, which you deals uh increases the base damage of the weapons for 36% for 120 attacks or 18 seconds, whatever comes first, uh which is pretty quick. Now, and now with that, right? Like, so uh 36 seconds, 18 seconds, right? >> [music] >> Uh if we hit uh we do we should have master synergy up right here. It’s 21 seconds. Uh you can see there that we get a little bit more because of all our gear and stuff. So, every 30 seconds, we can actually use the ability, which will then do a tiger claw base attack of uh 1,037. So, definitely, if you think about it like that, uh it’s almost 100% uptime in all honesty. Almost 100% uptime, everybody in the group melee is getting 36% extra damage, including pets and swarm pets. So, as long as the swarm pet was alive when you triggered it, right? Uh so, right there, that makes uh you know, monks the probably top uh you know, top three ADPS for any kind of melee ADPS, with themselves being uh uh the another top tier ADPS and DPS. So, it’s pretty nice. Uh next up, we have Unkeaz’s a fang. This is level 124. I don’t believe it was upgraded >> [music] >> in the current expansion, so we’re still using this one. This is timer 17. No timer 17s except for the after image here, >> [music] >> uh which I don’t use these ones. I just go with a fangs, uh which are every other expansion. But, it’s a hand-to-hand attack that 1689 damage and a magical attack of 229 01 damage. So, a lot of damage out of that. 1 minute reuse, it’s in the multi-bind. And then I have drunken >> [music] >> monkey style. Now, this is gives us a random buff uh drunken monkey style flying kick boost, right? So, it gives us 16 seconds to do flying kicks and get a ban damage on those. Now, uh I don’t pay attention to what this gives, so it’s just I activate it and uh hope it’s something that I’m doing. Um now, I do switch between eagle strike and tiger claw uh when I need it, uh which is not as much now as you would think. Um now, if we look at the reason why right here, uh divine surge of battle. So, uh this is one of the abilities. So, divine surge of battle, when you do an eagle strike, you trigger divine surge of battle, which restores 950 endurance. And then the other one does more damage, right? So, I’m I call them eagle strike and I think the other one’s tiger claw, right? It’s like tiger something. Uh so, it’s just kind of a joke there, but uh I pick whatever one I need and I use it, right? So, it’s pretty funny. Uh and then we have life walker’s synergy. So, this is uh a just an attack that triggers three flying kicks that do 1,800 damage and then applies the uh synergy effect, which causes them to take an extra 125 damage, 125% damage from flying kicks. Then, we have fate walker’s precision strike, which uh targets our target targets with throwing attacks of uh base damage of 1,581 and uh it gives it a enhanced additional throwing attacks. Now, I don’t have any other throwing attacks really on my bar, so it’s it’s really just extra damage, extra damage. Then, we have Vera’s search search shuriken, which is the only throwing attack on my bar that I think at the moment. Um it’s just an low damage throwing attack, pretty nice. It’s from really early in the game, too. Uh curse of 17 facets. Now, this is a places a curse on target, cause them to take 20,000 more damage from uh damage shields, right? So, the this is this is like a quasi buff to the tank, if you will. Uh if they’re struck 112 times, they will take an additional 462,000 damage and uh then [music] the doom of the facets uh when the curse is lifted. So, um it’s an interesting ability. I do it on cool down. It’s 30 second reuse, right? So, it’s not like I I’m missing something if I don’t use it, right? Uh now, 112 times, that means the mob has to strike 112 times. Uh chance of that are actually kind of low uh that I I’m thinking about it, right? Um maybe a boss mob is going to hit the tank that many times, but uh most time, it does not happen. Um but it it’s there, it’s on every mob, so why not? Then, we have swift reflexes. Quick your reflexes allow you to block three attacks if you’re struck melee, dealing 395 damage. Now, if we click this, you’ll see where is it at here? Swift reflexes. Swift tail’s chant. It’s somewhere. I got so many buffs going on. There it is, right here. Swift reflexes is a one hour buff and it doesn’t do anything until I get hit three times. Now, that is kind of cool and s- low-key it’s overpowered, right? It’s a five minute reuse and it lasts for an hour. It costs a little bit of endurance, but it I don’t I’ve already regenerated that endurance and I’m not even sitting. So, uh I use this on cool down. Uh now, if I get hit, it’s going to block those damage and you know, do some stuff, right? So, this is kind of an interesting spell because if my tank dies, like which he has, like if we go to spite, you know, I’ll my tank will probably die, you know, I’ll pull something bad and he’ll die. And I’ll have to battle res him. Now, what I do when I battle res is I click earth force and then I just have my monk attack, right? He’s generally like second on the second on the the hate list, if not the mage pet. Now, uh most of the time works fine. You know, I’m I’m if I’m taking on the monk with earth force on, I’m not I’m not going anywhere. It’s fine. I don’t even have to heal myself for, you know, a good while. I can mend and all that, but uh >> [music] >> gives me the time to get my tank back up and get him back in combat. So, definitely uh a nice little option there. Uh then, we have reciprocal form, which uh does the highest form of reciprocal form we have, which uh reciprocal trigger four. Yeah, we have four, so it’s going to do whatever more. Uh there increases the power of our 100 attacks by 1,800 and our two hand attacks by 3,191 and our special attacks by 2,281. Uh so, the it just increases our damage significantly. I do it on cool down. It’s a one minute reuse, I believe. No, five minute reuse. So, it is what it is. It costs 10,000 endurance, right? So, that’s kind of expensive. But, if we pop that, right? I- is only 3% of my endurance. 3% of my endurance. And uh that is not honestly not that bad. And I’m already I’ve already regenerated >> [music] >> 1% in that in that time. I currently have uh 48 89 endurance. So, and with our current whatever I have going on is 1,100 endurance regeneration. So, >> [music] >> in in 10 ticks I’ll get all that back, right? So, it’s nothing big. >> [music] >> Uh then we have Swift Tails Chant. Now, then when activated all group members in a 100-ft radius restore 1,400 endurance. I can do this every 10 minutes. Then allows them to absorb 3% of their melee damage as endurance. Now, this is this is an interesting ability. On the top of it, it sounds kind of you know, bad, but at the at the same time it is actually pretty good. I don’t have endurance problems with my monk. I truly don’t. I do if I drop my warrior I mean if I drop my monk from my warrior’s group, my warrior has endurance problems. With my my monk in the group, I don’t have endurance problems for my warrior. Uh my monk doesn’t really have endurance problems either. And I’m running communism. I’m doing tiger claw. I’m not doing any eagle strike, which does restore endurance. Uh so, it works out pretty well. And I I feel like it like the way I play it’s restoring my resources at a fast enough pace that I’m not losing resources, right? On top of that like I you know, have gear. I have you know, a source power source with uh the slayer one which is going to give me more endurance regeneration. Uh you can see here I get nine endurance regeneration on my chest. I’m getting uh another now one the ring I think gets endurance regeneration. And stuff like that. So, I’m getting some endurance regeneration from that plus my group. So, it all adds up and it makes a nice little combo. Next up we have Zan Fi’s Whistle. This passively increases our melee damage by 24%. This is bam, an extra damage, right? Uh increases the one-handed blunt attacks by 530, two-handed blunts by 12 uh 1075. And flying kick by 800. So, right off the bat, you know, we’re getting massive damage from this. Uh so, that is very nice. And we can also trigger Zan Fi’s Echo, which does 280,000 damage. Wow, right? It’s a lot of damage. And then we have Two-Finger Wasp, which is uh you know, increase the damage it takes from tiger claw, eagle strike, dragon punch by 180% for 1 minute. This is a 3-minute reuse, so I do it on cool down just cuz I wouldn’t do it otherwise. You know, saving for a burn would be something, but I don’t save much for burns. Now, we have uh Five-Point Palm, which uh consumes 2% of my health to do 470 damage 470,000 damage that is to the target and hit them with a base damage tail rake of 111 or 1,100 damage, jeez. Uh definitely uh definitely nice cuz 2% of my health is absolutely nothing, right? Like let’s look at this real quick. So, if I target this guy and I click Five-Point Palm, boom. I’m at 100% health. Now, you’re like, what? >> [laughter] >> I have 1,400 or 14,000 health regen at the moment. So, it doesn’t even really matter. Like it really doesn’t even matter. I wish it did more damage. I would sacrifice more health for more damage. Uh but at the same time we have mend and we have improvement. Watch Like if I mend, right? That is a 25-second reuse, right? So, uh and it heals me for almost all my health. Uh see here, improved mend right here. 100% superior mend and it reduces the you know, the time significantly. So, I’m mending myself when I want for more health than I I really need. Uh pretty much all time. And I I don’t have that in my multi bind. I have it on num pad two. But it’s definitely like keeps me alive. I can I can take just my like say my shaman and my bard and I can play like through with those three characters. Sham monk shaman bard and I can kill most content that I can kill with my warrior. I can go back I can do named with this guy. I killed names at 125 in outer brood with just the those three. And mercs, right? And uh when I was you know, power leveling Hamrock to get him into the to this group, you know, he was like you know, level 100 just standing off to the side while I’m taking everything and he’s taking getting full dam you know, full experience. So, the monk is a very durable class and it’s a very high damage class. I get anywhere from one Let’s say 1.4 to you know, let’s say 1 million all the way up to 5 million depending on what I’m doing. Uh it varies a lot because in the relic mission you just do a lot more damage. So, there’s a lot of variation there. Uh when I play just the monk and I’m not playing any of the other classes, I can get you know, probably even better damage depending on the support I have. Uh so, it is definitely a good option to play a monk. I also run intimidation because we have improved intimidation, which gives a little bit of a stun plus a damage increase. Where is that at? Uh [sighs] da da da intimidation. Somewhere in here, right? It’s like monk’s intimidation. Here we go, intimidation. So, this increases the damage from tiger claw, eagle strike, and dragon punch by 65% for 30 seconds and it will seize them. So, like it’s like a 3-second stun. It’s it’s lovely. Uh I do disarm because when I’m looking at the screen, right? If I like go to my chat, I guess I I have I have it off on this guy, right? Uh There we go. So, if I’m on the spells page, this is where it went somewhere. But if I’m in the wrong spot, it will give me a warning. I can’t remember where that goes on this character. I’ve moved all my windows around. Yeah, so it goes right there. But it kind of gives you a nice warning there. Uh then we have Arya Bane. This is uh the outer brood uh effect you got to click off and stuff like that. I just keep it in my multi bind because I don’t know if I go there or not, you know, I don’t want to have to go and add a button to all my characters just to get rid of that curse. Uh so, definitely just keep it in the multi bind. You can add infinite buttons >> [laughter] >> infinite buttons in your multi bind and it’s not going to matter. This one doesn’t affect anything if there’s no curse. So, it’s pretty nice. All right. So, that’s the multi bind. That’s pretty much all of that now. Other things I do cast uh we’ll talk about the burns here in just a second, but I do I I do like to keep master’s aura up. This is our level 70 aura. Uh you know, I also do my familiar for whatever expansion I have. And my violet conch. So, I get a set what 10,000 AC, which is is pretty nice, right? Like I have 10,000 you know, 300 AC. Let’s look at my warrior real quick, right? So, here’s my warrior dual wielding. He’s at 13,000. So, I’m pretty close to my warrior. He’s like at a million hit points. I’m at almost 800,000 hit points. And I’m I’m still in like mostly outer brood uh uprising gear. So, I’m not I don’t even have like the latest gear. I didn’t even buy this guy tier two, right? He’s got like a whole set in his bag somewhere. But I have not I have I just feel you know, what? I’m going to wait until I can just craft everything, right? Uh I did get him the uh two-hander, which is a 51 DPS two-hander, which is pheno- phenomenal. Phenomenal amounts of damage there, you know, 30,000 hit points. It’s it’s great. But I haven’t I haven’t felt like I needed to upgrade his gear yet to the tier two uh such shadowing arrow. I have uh I’m holding out for the tier three. So, just going to take some farming, right? And uh stuff like that. But my burn is uh is pretty simple, I would say. I do silent strikes, right? Uh I do focus destructive force. Increases our damage on a single target. Uh if we’re doing AOE, we do different something different, but uh infusion of lightning. This uh gives us a trigger proc that does 5,000 to 10,000 damage. Uh we do Spire of the Sensei, which increases damage and all that stuff, you know. I’m not going to read through all these in this, but uh it’s it’s good. Uh then we have breastplate. Uh the chest plate has a clicky uh which is the uh see where seven chakra’s heal technique. Next 20 flying kicks trigger demon crusher, which is 131,000 proc, right? And the new the the the shadowing arrow one should do more damage than that. And then we do uh heal of a Zagali, right? So, heal of a Zagali is a level uh discipline. It’s a 30-second duration, 15-minute reuse, and it uh increases the damage that our flying kicks do, right? So, keep that in mind, 30 seconds. So, I’m I’m you know, when I do my burns, I spam seven. And then I spam what? Eight, right? So, I’m doing these at the same time. So, we have Heron Stance, right? That one’s going to trigger. And uh when we spam eight, eagle symmetry is going to trigger also. All right here. Eagle’s symmetry. These all increase our damage and stuff like that. Eagle’s symmetry triggers additional tiger claw attacks. Now you see speed focus. Speed focus takes a discipline’s uh you know the discipline timer. So does Hilo’s and Gali. Now, >> [music] >> what I do what as soon as Hilo’s and Gali falls after 30 seconds if I still need it, I hit eight again which it then triggers speed focus again. Uh if it’s available, it will activate and give us uh increased attack speed. And I do that for 30 seconds. If I still need more, I hit the button again and I get terror palm. >> [music] >> Uh these all take up the uh the discipline slot so it’s not going to I can spam them and it won’t do anything. Right? And I if I get this, you know, then I have additional uh melee damage. Now these are lower level disciplines. There’s no upgrades to any of these. For some reason they didn’t upgrade these to current level. Uh you know, I still need to go back and get the rank threes, but you can see here get that. Now, >> [laughter] >> if we’ve gone a minute and 30 seconds and we still need more burns, I usually kind of click into the character now uh so I can activate certain abilities in certain characters like iron fist discipline or Bahamut rage or ton pose stance. >> [music] >> Uh depending on which one. Some of these don’t stack. I Someone told me what what why they didn’t stack and I totally lost the message. So there’s a reason. Uh it’s like ton poses and rage don’t stack or ton poses and terror palm don’t stack. One of the two. Uh but I usually don’t need more than a minute and 30 seconds of burns, right? Uh I’m killing most moms that I fight my level in less than a minute. Uh and I’m killing the bosses in the missions much faster. I think I kill the arc a relic one in 30 seconds or maybe it’s 45 seconds right now. I’m almost at 30 seconds uh with my when I have my zerker on. And my uh what is the other one? The arc stone mission is it’s like you don’t really need burns. Like there’s it’s a really quick fight if you do it right. Uh and then the the candle mission it has mechanics that don’t really lend itself to you wanting to actually burn cuz you do not want to do a lot of damage which then it becomes a problem because we do so much damage just with auto attacks. So it’s interesting. But uh and then when when all that is also there, we also do glyph of ultimate power when we have it. Uh right here we don’t have one so we don’t have it right now. Uh but once we max AA and finish up that, we will have uh glyph as soon as much as we need it in certain situations. So uh that’s that. Now I’ve covered like almost all the rest of these buttons in other other videos. So like here’s my I switch I can switch to round kick if I want to stun. I can switch to flying kick if I want more damage. Switch to eagle strike if I want freedom and I switch to tiger claw if I want uh more damage. So >> [laughter] >> your choice is there like stamina versus damage is really what that is. So that’s why it’s green and red. Uh delayed death is a nice uh ability to click on if you want to not die. Uh it does not take a uh discipline slot. It’s a 10-minute reuse, 1-minute duration. Gives us uh delayed death right here. Which will uh you know, makes a little bit tankier and make us not die as much. Uh really good if you you know you’re in a oh you know you know, oh issue and you got to like get out of it, right? So it’s definitely nice there. Counterforce discipline is another defensive you can pop. Uh which will you know, kind of keep you alive. It absorbs 15% of incoming damage. Uh and I believe it slows the opponent. Opponent. See slows your attacks, lowers your accuracy. Yeah. So it will uh it will every time we hit it, will give it a chance to slow the target that we’re just beating us. So it’s actually pretty nice. Discipline there lasts for a minute and 12 seconds, 10-minute reuse. So it’s pretty quick. If we’re you know, getting absolutely clobbered and there’s no tank, right? And then you know, here’s the the big papa right here. Earth force, 24 seconds, 3-minute reuse. I feel like when I pop this, I take no melee damage at all. I feel like it’s better than final stand from a warrior at times, right? It doesn’t last as long, but man, I can take some hits. And like as a monk already, you’re very evasive when it comes to getting hit anyway. So [music] uh you know, it’s pretty nice. All right, that is just about everything there. Uh let’s talk about gear. You want the two-hander. I have not had a chance to parse the uh the one-handers to see like you know, really what how much the difference is between a one-hander and a two-hander. Uh but I will eventually >> [laughter] >> I will eventually. I’ll pick up I’ll craft I’ll get him two craftable uh tier threes and we’ll craft that before the end of the expansion. We’ll do a video on it, but uh right now I just don’t I haven’t I haven’t gotten very many. I have gotten one one-hander and one two-hander. That’s it. So it’s been it’s kind of rare. It’s kind of annoying, but uh you know, it’s it is what it is. And then we got uh you want the ring from uh the outer brood. You want the neck from the uh Lorien’s song. Um it’s going to be good. Like I’m missing myth slayer to go to the next tier. So uh once I get that, I’ll only be missing the raids and I don’t I just I don’t raid so I won’t get that, but it should be better than the uh it should be better than the current one. It’s not going to be better than the next one. And then obviously you’re going to want the mask. You can see here I just uh I got my mask ready to evolve as soon as I do the quest I believe I’m on right now. I think I need to do one of these. He doesn’t He hasn’t finished all the quests yet. I’m saving them for the uh enchanter version of him. But you can see here this mask is just completely crazy. So you’re going to want that. Uh you’re going to want the best power source. Uh the arcana ones are better. I don’t have one for slayer yet. And you’re going to want to evolve your tier as much as you can. Uh we’re going to be doing that in our uh our paladin play through. We’re going to go and try to get our tiers maxed out while we go through Val Balaris. Val Balaris to get that tier maxed out so that we can get the uh defensive buff there. Uh that is about it. I don’t think there’s much more to it. I’m going to do a video with everybody to show like all the DPS and stuff and then I’m I’m going to do uh videos on each mission to kind of show all of that here uh in the coming weeks. Uh so that we have all that on uh kind of record, but you know, just turning on attack, right? Like uh hitting no buttons, attack only, I’m doing what? A million one. It’s kind of varies, right? 900k. You know, just that’s just literally attack with no buttons pushed. Now I do have all kinds of buffs and who knows what all those are, but uh definitely pretty good. Now if I uh if I spam five, let’s just hit all our all our things real quick and see uh if this all the combat dummy’s health actually go down. Now this is light blue. It’s a 115 combat dummy. I cannot find a bigger combat dummy anywhere, but uh definitely uh pretty nice there. We’re at 1.3 million now. You can see the damage that we’re doing is going up significantly. Now we don’t have any support from like the bard or the berserker or any of that like right now. So this is where we’re at. With just our raw, you know, DPS against whatever this is. 1.4. It Once I start adding in the ADPS from all the other characters, it starts getting uh it gets crazier. And I don’t have my berserker online uh to show that, but he increases the the critical damage uh significantly. You see him smashing, right? You can see he’s you know, doing quite a bit of schwak in there with his uh schwacky stick. But uh yeah. Jeez. Lucky flurry after lucky flurry. Um yeah, looks like we’re getting about 1.4 on the combat dummy. Um it’s about right, I think. Maybe 1.5 should be where it’s at, but I didn’t go all in at the beginning. So there’s going to be some lower DPS at the beginning, right? So the average is going to be off, but it’s about right, right? As you know, 1.4 million damage for just like pushing one button. Not too bad. Considering I’ve I’ve grouped with people that do less than 500,000 damage at 130. So uh definitely uh you know, just depends on your setup and all that, but once you start throwing in ADPS from like say a bard, a berserker, and then uh yeah, and the shaman. You uh you start doing some real damage. And uh you can see you’ll see in the uh all together video. We should be starting about 2 million DPS without even trying and then in some of the missions we’ll get up to 5 million. I think my record is 6 million with this guy but I can’t remember off the top of my head and all my parses are too old. I don’t really want to load them all to see where we’re at but uh that’s that. That is the monk at 130. I love it. It’s a fun class definitely uh I’m thinking I’m like I’m thinking about putting a DPS class on my warrior so I can you know if I can get a chance to do open raids uh and stuff like that you know then I’ll have an option. I don’t really want to play play my boxes at all outside of when I play by myself right? So I want to have my main character have a DPS class and I’m thinking you know either rogue or a monk right now cuz uh they’re kind of fun right? So we’ll see where that ends up. But that is that is how I play my 130 monk. If you have any questions or comments I’m doing something totally wrong you think I’m let me know and I will fix whatever uh I need to to make that uh you know more correct right? Like I you know I’ve play him a lot and I feel like I don’t think there’s anything I could do better but if there is let me know. If there’s something I should do in a different order you know different spell here and there let me know and uh we can talk about it and when we do the 135 video or another update video you know towards the uh next expansion uh we can uh you know see when when I get you know actual gear from this current expansion right? I’m that now that parse was in all gear from the outer brood with the uh with the uh the shrouded arrow staff so it’s not like it’s all I’m in all max you know 130 gear all raid gear. I don’t have any raid gear so uh that’s how it is but thank you very much watching and please have a fantastic day.
