How I Play My Level 115 Shadowknight

How I play my level 115 EverQuest Shadowknight: a one-button tank sustained almost entirely by life taps. Covers the rotational spells, self-buff skins, the big Button 5 multibind, Knight's Synergy, the defensive cooldown stack, the pet, AAs, and gear at 115.

This Shadowknight is my main tank for the box, and I play the whole thing on one button. Almost all of the healing comes from a wall of life taps, so my HP ping-pongs but rarely drops, and the shaman's group heals cover the rest. From about 105 to 125 the class is mostly plus-one spell ranks, so the real work is the multibind order, the self-buff skins, and the defensive cooldown stack for the hard named fights.

Main tank Life-tap sustain One-button multibind Knight's Synergy
Composite Fang55,000 tap (heal to 166,000)
Thwart-90% next 2 hits
Knight's Synergy12,000 x6 hits

Session Overview

How the Shadowknight is wired at 115.

  • Role: main tank for the box, nearly self-sufficient on healing thanks to the life taps.
  • One button: everything is bound to button 5 (also 4), so I play the character with one finger and focus elsewhere.
  • Set in stone: from about 105 to 125 the SK is mostly plus-one spell ranks, so the setup barely changes.
  • Life-tap tank: my HP ping-pongs constantly, and the taps plus the shaman's group heals keep me and the pets topped.
  • AAs matter now: 115 is the last AA autogrant, so from here I have to earn them.

Rotational Spells

Aggro, life taps, and pulls.

Aggro

  • Protest of Power: taunt, undead slow, and an AC buff. The recourse gives about 8,400 AC plus 13,000 hate instantly and 9,700 over time. Near-instant. I keep it on whatever I tank, and can run it on two mobs to build hate on both.
  • Spear of Cadcane: a near-instant nuke (cannot move while casting), 15,000 base and about 68,000 with AAs. 23-second recast, so it opens the multibind.
  • Terror of Mirenilla: an instant, unresistable 18,000 hate jolt I cast while running to pull. My rule is if I can tag a mob and run over the Bard without losing aggro, the pull is good.

Life taps

  • Composite Fang: the current progression spell, a 55,000 life tap that heals 120% up to 166,000 and adds 21,000 hate. Cannot be twincast; always take the highest rank.
  • Dire Indictment: a 13,000 life tap, about 42,000 damage.
  • Touch of Zlandicar: a 5,100 life tap that leaves a Gift of Zlandicar HP buff (about 3,900). On cooldown.
  • Touch of Drendar: a smaller 7,100 life tap to keep pinging my health up.
  • Bond of Vulak: a heal-over-time life tap, instant cast, heals 150% of the damage dealt (a crit healed about 89,000). Roughly 10-second cooldown.

Group and AE

  • Group health-and-mana bite: 2,700 damage that gives everyone in the group a little health and about 1,400 mana. One-minute recast.
  • Insidious Rejection: an AE life tap hitting 30 mobs for 7,800 hate each and healing up to 21,000 per target, effectively an AE taunt. Contempt (11,000 unresistable hate to 30) is the alternate.

Self Buffs and Skins

Short-duration, always memorized.

  • Confluent Disruption: a disruptive mantle that auto-casts Precise Disruption whenever another caster heals me between level 106 and 120. It pierces the target for 16,000, heals me 9,879, and fires an AE taunt (about 29,965 anger). 2:40 duration, 40 charges, 100% chance.
  • Stormwall Stance: the current SK stance, about +36,000 HP, roughly one extra hit of buffer.
  • Cadcane's Skin: the current skin, absorbs 11,000 from the next three melee hits. With the Extended Decrepit Skin focus it runs about 105 charges over 13 minutes.

Why heal ranks matter: Confluent Disruption only triggers off heals between 106 and 120, which is why I care what rank my shaman's heals are.

How the Multibind Works

One key, and why that is not as daft as it sounds.

  • Everything is bound to 5, and to 4 as well, for reasons that are their own story. Both sit on hotbar 6, and that bar is never clicked.
  • The client fires whatever is off cooldown and skips the rest, so mashing the key cycles the whole list rather than jamming on the first unavailable entry.
  • The AAs go off instantly because they are not on the global cooldown. The only thing being waited on is spell gaps.
  • The key also turns attack on, tells the pet to attack the current target, and tells the swarm pets to do the same.
  • Switching target and pressing it once moves everybody, which is the real reason the pet commands live here rather than being sent once and left. Nothing stays queued on the old mob.
  • The order has been rearranged across 115 levels as spells arrived, so it is not a list somebody wrote down once.

This is a boxing setup, not a min-max one. Played as a single character the hot bars would look completely different and the long cooldowns would be saved for named rather than fired on sight. Several of the entries below are on the key purely because pressing one button is the point.

What Is On Button 5, In Order

The whole list, in the order it fires.

# Entry What it does
1Attack, pet attack, swarm attackThe key itself. Everything retargets on the current mob
2TauntThe level one ability, still first in the order
3ThwartThe current brace. Next two melee hits reduced 90%, or until 64,000 is absorbed. Five charges, 18 second recast
4Spear of CadcaneRotational
5The biteRotational
6TerrorRotational
7Composite FangThe big tap: 55,000, healing to 166,000
8Touch of ZlandicarThe hit point one
9Dire IndictmentThe big one
10Touch of DrendarThe leftover from the previous tier, about 7,300
11AE taunt
12AE life tap
13Bond of VulakRecently added to the bind
14Chattering BonesAA. Two level 115 skeletons that trigger Venom Claw for 7,500, all of it returned as healing
15Bite of Chaos20,000 damage, plus a group recourse of 8,000 HP, 1,300 mana and 300 endurance
16Ageless EnmityA taunt worth 15,000 points of hate
17Projection of DoomSummons a level 115 projection generating 55,000 hate, then 18,000 every 5 seconds. If it survives 15 seconds the lot transfers to me
18Rending BladeAn extra swing at about 1,200, against 1,000 on the two-hander and 800 on the one-hander. No two-hander needed
19Unending AcrimonyLocks the target on me for 18 seconds. The group generates 90% less hate, my own hate is up 60%, and it heals 4,600
20Sunrise BladeThree sword attacks, then Enrage: spell damage up 2,982, haste, and 479 minimum melee damage for a minute. 20 minute reuse
21Visage of ResolveThree two-hand attacks, and the target takes 20% more melee damage for a minute
22Reflexive ResentmentThree two-hand slashes at 1,838 base, healing the group up to 38,000

Knight's Synergy is the reason Thwart sits at three. It is the first AA on the list, and every Thwart hands the whole group, pets included, an absorb of 12,000 on each of their next six direct or melee hits. It is up almost permanently and quietly saves people. Nothing about the tooltip tells you the group gets it.

Burn 1

The SK burn.

Burn 15/5
  1. /alt act 1450 ; Spire of The Reavers
  2. /alt act 3215 ; Projection of Doom
  3. /alt act 7003 ; Forceful Rejuvenation
  4. /useitem 17
  5. /useitem Blood Drinker's Coating
/alt act 1450 ; Spire of The Reavers
/alt act 3215 ; Projection of Doom
/alt act 7003 ; Forceful Rejuvenation
/useitem 17
/useitem Blood Drinker's Coating
  • This is separate from button 5. The multibind fires whatever is off cooldown; this is the deliberate burn you press when something is worth it.
  • Forceful Rejuvenation is the point of the ordering. It refreshes the two above it, so Spire and Projection both go again inside the same burn.
  • Five lines exactly, which is what the socials window holds. There is no room to add to this one without taking something out.

Defensive Cooldowns

For the hits that hurt.

  • Shield Flash: blocks all incoming attacks for 6 seconds. I pop this right before something like Zi'car, who nearly one-shot my 125 Paladin.
  • Deflection Discipline: blocks for a long window; the breastplate adds two ticks of duration. 40-minute reuse.
  • Restless Mantle: a one-minute mini defensive, absorbs 35% of melee (about a 2.3M cap) and heals 41,000 when it ends.
  • Cadcane's Carapace and Impertinent Influence: mini defensives on the same timer. Both absorb 20% of melee; Impertinent Influence adds a life tap returning up to 18,000, a 5,500 group heal, and +22,000 HP.
  • Cursed Guardian: a level 107 disc, still not updated, that cuts my damage 60% but reduces damage taken 36% for a full three minutes with no absorb cap. Fine with a sword and board.
  • Reaver's Bargain: adds 70,000 unconscious health and a rune against hits over 31,000, but it drains everything if my resources dip below 10%. Best when I am high on mana and endurance.

The Pet

A controllable DoT that survives.

  • Minion of Drendar: my skeleton pet, really a controllable DoT (13,000 crits, 9,000 normals). Not a necro or shaman pet, but it survives.
  • Gift of Drendar: buffs the pet with haste, melee, strength, and AC.
  • Kept alive: the shaman's group heals and Composite Roar keep the pet ticking so it does not die instantly.

AAs

Defense first, damage focuses later.

  • Knight's Synergy first: it buffs the whole group.
  • Then all defense: Combat Agility, Combat Stability, General Sturdiness, Natural Durability, and Armor of Wisdom.
  • Then focuses: Improved Force of Power to keep Protest of Power instant, the skin and stance upgrades at their level breaks, and the spell-damage focuses.
  • Staying alive first: I take defense over the damage focuses, since an extra 21% damage means nothing if I am dead.

Gear and Weapons

Group crafted, with a few raid pieces.

  • Armor: velium threaded, the best group crafted at 115, a touch better than waxing (Terror of Luclin tier 1). I started this line in snowbound and snow squall.
  • Raid pieces: a velium etched breastplate, helm, and arms, plus a velium etched warhammer and shield and a raid two-hander.
  • Going forward: group gear the rest of the way to 125 except weapons. I am not paying two million a piece.

The One-Button Tank

  1. Pre-pull: Protest of Power, Stormwall Stance, Cadcane's Skin, and Confluent Disruption up.
  2. Pull: Terror of Mirenilla on the run, or the AE life tap for a pack.
  3. Engage: spam 5. Thwart keeps Knight's Synergy on the group while the taps and nukes roll.
  4. Sustain: Bond of Vulak and Composite Fang keep my health up between shaman heals.
  5. Hard hits: Shield Flash or Deflection before a big named like Zi'car, then layer the mini defensives.
  6. Pets: Chattering Bones and Minion of Drendar out for extra damage and Venom Claw heals.

hello and welcome to how I play my level 115 Shadow Knight so this one uh this one’s been a long time coming and uh we’re going to talk about uh spells we’re going to talk about how I have a multibind set up to pretty much have one button to play most of the abilities of this character and uh we’ll talk about uh some other stuff gear and whatnot so let’s go ahead and jump into this so if you have not watched my previous uh how I play My Shadow Night videos I would definitely watch the previous two um from I would say about 105 the game is pretty much set in stone all the way to 125 and we are pretty much just adding you know plus one to our spells uh and stuff like that so let’s uh we’ll talk about that let’s go ahead and get into it here so my very first spell here is protest power this is a taunt slash uh Undead slow and an AC buff definitely want to have this on at all times and uh you know just get it out there now if we cast it on this dummy here right I don’t have a current level one target M there we go so cast it on there recourse so we get some AC right now we have 8,400 AC uh plus it gives us an instantly uh uh hatred by 13,000 and then 9700 over time so definitely want that on whatever you’re tanking cuz it’s going to give you some of that that instantaneous aggro now if I click on this guy over here I can click it on two right I don’t get the extra AC because the recourse buff uh somewhere over here yeah right here power recourse recourse so it doesn’t stack uh but I can have it on two different mobs so I can be getting hatred generated on both of them so it’s nice now you’ll see that it has a 0.5 cast time uh well it says 0.5 right it might be yeah it’s it’s instant right now uh you want to keep an eye out for this improved of for power uh at 115 we get our last aa aa Auto Grant so at this point this spell will require AA to make it back to instant um but uh definitely something to keep in mind there it’s uh one of the more uh important focuses to get um this after night’s Synergy but we’ll talk about that in a minute uh next up I have Spear of cadence uh I have the rank two but uh rank one works just as fine this is just a uh what is it A1 second cast right like almost instant it can’t do it while moving it’s pretty much the only thing there uh does 15,000 damage you’ll see here it uh let’s see here crit for no there a normal hit with all the AAS and stuff we have 68,000 uh so that’s a nice little spell uh lots of damage out there real you know real instant for stuff so it’s it’s in my multibind it’s one of the first things I do as it does have a long recast time you’ll see here uh 23 seconds next up by Vulcan volax bite so uh this causes 2700 damage and restores health and Mana to the group so while you cast that everybody in your group gets a little thing so they get a little health and a little Mana uh and that adds up right like what’s the recast time on this a minute so every minute I’m giving everybody in the group a th400 Mana right like you know oh it’s not that much but it adds up you know considering that that’s like every fight so you know I kind it just you know a little bits here and there uh but I do it on cool down since it is a one minute re recast and then the next uh let’s just go with this for here first so this is a life tap uh we we we have a lot of Life Taps on my bar uh because of the way I play but uh this one is a 5100 life tap but it gives me health so you see my health is at 387k if I do this I’ll get gift of zandar right there bring my health up to 392 and I get an extra 3900 hit points it decays over time but I do this on cool down and as you saw it is already refreshed so it is a really nice next up I have dire indictment or yeah indictment uh this is a 13,000 life tap pretty big right I did what 42,000 damage there and would have healed me for I think pretty much that much also had I been taking damage uh and then we have another life tap Touch of dinder this is just a a lower one it’s 7100 so another just life tap to Ping our health ping pongs a lot as a shadow Knight and this is nice to get us back up in in Li of the shaman here’s capability of healing uh then we have uh Terror of manella this is our instant cast unresistable hatred generation jolt spell uh casted instantly I use this to pull because I can do it while running and it will generate a significant amount of hatred now 18,000 hatred is a lot uh it’s enough for me to tag a mob and run over my Bard and not lose AC that’s how I measure it if I can run over my Bard and not lose aggro uh it’s perfect right but uh it’s instant cast uh jolt aggro right there uh next up we have composite Fang uh this is our current level progression spell uh this is a 55,000 laugh tap that will heal me for 120% of that damage up to a maximum of 166,000 it will increase the targets hatri Force by 21,000 but it cannot be twincast so uh if we go into my Spellbook here right so we have uh we have composite Fang right now we have a previous version we got at I believe 110 if I have that one I might only have the 101 one on this guy I I don’t think I ran to uh the burning lands back then let me see if I can find it real quick and yeah uh yeah this this is the 101 one I guess I didn’t buy diss it so you can kind of see like it doesn’t really tell you any information on this one but if you go to the bite of the the actual spell It cast you’ll see that if we compare the two bytes uh 55,000 versus 45,000 so it’s a pretty good pretty good upgrade over that uh I’ve read in some places you know don’t don’t use your current level one or something like that I don’t I haven’t figured out why people say that but as you can see here it’s only 85 Mana so like uh I’m going to obviously take the better one there may be some optimization I don’t know about it but uh that is that’s just nothing I see and that seems to go for all the classes I’ve looked at all the classes I play I go with the highest level uh version of that now the only thing I would say that we would go for is to say you had rank two of the level 101 one versus rank one of the 102 or one 110 15 ones you might have some better optimization there it’s just I would do it on a spell by spell basis to make sure uh what you’re using is the right one but typically the best one is going to be the best one uh with the mighty shout you draw attention of 30 characters so I like this spell uh Insidious rejection this is an AE life tap that will hit 30 mobs and give me you know 7,800 hatred and heal me and heal me for a maximum of 2100 or 21,000 per Target so it’s just insane uh 30 targets you know like I can run over this mob of all these training dummies here I hit them all and that would have healed me uh and you know swarming cases you pull more than one mob this is a nice little spell to get that out there pretty much on cool down you want to you cast it if you got multiple mobs it’s a all tank them all it’s like an AE taunt it’s just perfect in every way uh the alternate to that I would use uh contempt that would be the alternate spell I would use here just it gives 11,000 hatred to you know uh the nearby 30 enemies unresistable but I prefer the life tap one because if I have that many enemies right here I’m probably going to need extra healing in all honesty uh now bond volak this is our heal of over time uh life tap and as you can see here it heals for 150% of the damage dealt so if we like click this on it’s instant cast it’s beautiful uh we should see yeah here we go so 150% I think I said was it 150% yeah 150% of the damage dealt is transferred to me his health right the crit was 89 so I got an 89,000 heal got a 20,000 heal I got an 18,000 heal plus you know the 50% so you know double it and divide it by two and it’s uh like 101 like it’s probably like 150 lucky critical right there I mean that’s a lot of healing for this spell uh and I cast it on cool down I believe it’s in my multibind right now maybe it is not in my multibind anymore yeah it’s not in my mul anymore let’s put it right there uh I’m not 100% sure what happened there uh maybe I was manually casting it uh but it can go right there it’s fine I don’t really care um I did oh no I think I yeah yeah I I did something I was messing with something but for the most part I do it on cool down uh it is what how was the cool down on this thing 10 seconds so yeah there’s enough time to get all these other spells in it’s instant cast too so it’s perfect uh next up the the next three spells are all self Buffs and these pretty much have to be per permanently memorized because they’re short duration Buffs right like the first one here confluent disruption uh places a disruptive mantle on yourself which causes you to automatically cast precise disruption three basa so click that right over there whenever another Caster heels between 106 and 120 land on you all right so every time I get healed by somebody between with a heal that’s between 106 and 120 I will get let’s see this this spell will pierces your target dealing 16,000 damage and reflecting disrupted recourse basa so let’s click that one that’s another spell It cast it will also trigger expansive distracting basa inciting 29 9 uh 65 anger to All Enemies around me so I’m getting an AOE taunt out of this and I’m getting a I’m getting a 16,000 Point damage that heals me for 9879 it’s insane absolutely insane this lasts for 2 minutes and 40 heals right uh you can see right here 4 minutes with my all my spells and Buffs 40 charges right so if I go over to my Shaman here I Target him so he was at 40 I click that and I’m at 39 right so that’s how it works you get a heal it does all of that magic stuff and I don’t know what the percent chance on that so it’s 100% chance so it’s just crazy I don’t know uh fun stuff there next up we have storm wall stance this is our current level stance uh this just gives us bonus extra HP uh this is kind of like uh the Druid and the Shaman’s growth line Paladin and Shadow Knight have their own self one that is I think they’re all the same uh so it’s it’s pretty nice uh the growth one you would cast on Warriors this is the the uh the shadow Knight Paladin can take care of that on their own which gives us you know uh we already had that buff on you see there gives us 30 an extra 36,000 hit points right that’s like two hits maybe one hit what did I get hit for right so uh Soul skin Hagar calls you for 30,000 38,000 52,000 62,000 60,000 63,000 74,000 74,000 7 4,000 so that’s about how I was getting that’s a named in the Clause of uh Vision expansion tier one so you can see there I’m getting hit for you know 70 74,000 on a a normal mob so uh it’s definitely definitely something nice to have that extra that extra buffer uh when it comes that kind of stuff so and then we have um uh K kan’s SK skin which is our current level skin which is a um absorption spell I guess the best way to say it it says it right there it will will absorb 11,000 damage from the next three melee attacks made against you it will last for 5 minutes until you’ve done it 49 times now uh you see over here with all my Buffs it’s looks like it’s doing 13 minutes with with uh I don’t know how many charges that is it looks like 100 so this is crazy now a lot of our spells get Focus abilities right so that’s like all the Spells I use so we got extended decrepit skin extends the skin line by 96 seconds and increases the number by of charges by 56 so 49 + 56 is probably no 102 I don’t think there’s something else going on there but it’s uh it is you know something nice there yeah it’s 105 um but you know whatever that is so these different focuses are very important now you’ll see that probably is an Asa Skin this is the 121 so the like it stops there right so if I don’t buy this AA at what level is this 120 I won’t get that extra benefit right so that’s something to keep in mind when you’re leveling up and you hit these thresholds then at this point on so at 115 and Beyond the AA are actually important so this is you know something I haven’t really covered really you know that much this whole time uh but it is now important because you don’t you don’t have to you don’t get them for free uh so my order for a a is pretty simple uh Knights Synergy is my first AA and then I go here to uh combat agility combat stability uh let’s see here General sturdiness and natural durability and then I pick up armor of wisdom I for for the shadow KN I’m going to do 100% defensive things that benefit my character ah once I have those all done right then I’m going to jump back over here to the like the focuses and pick up these you know ones that I need right like this one and during reproval we’re going to want to get that one uh let’s see what level is that 118 we’re going to make sure we get that at 118 just to get to the next rank it’s only 25 we’re going to want to get the upgrade to uh decrepit skin zous skin at 120 and let’s see here like these ones here these These are important right like all of these different focuses improve the damage of our spells it allows us to do a lot more damage but uh they’re not as important I say as defensive stuff because if you can’t stay alive to do the extra 21% damage then what was the point in the first place right so that’s kind of the my thought process on this like night Synergy is the most important one in my opinion uh because whenever you do thwart uh or in this case uh the next rank is repudiate so when I do thwart everybody in my group gets n Synergy 3 which it lets them absorb 12,000 damage of the next six IND direct damage or melee hits now you might not think that’s a lot but it it will save lives in some cases so considering how fast you can Rew right and just it’s always up nice to have on everybody in the group and especially if you have pets because pets will benefit from that also so just some some food for thought there with that now with that said those are all the Spells I use on a normal basis this is my rotational spells other spells I use is minion of dindar which summons our little skeleton pet here uh which is more or less a DOT that you can kind of control if we look at this what is he hitting for here 13,000 criticals 9,000 normals 3,800 normals he’s not he’s not doing a lot but he’s you know he’s he’s showing up and he’s having a good time uh you want to buff him with grift grift gift of dinder this will uh give him uh haste and haste extra m melee damage strength uh Armor class now like let’s be honest this is this Pet’s not a necro pet it’s not a it’s not even a shaman pet I don’t I would say I should I should have a video where I just have pets fight but it’s not the best pet but it’s a good pet and the sense that I can send this pet onto a mob and he’s not going to instantly die like he does early on in the game he’s going to survive for a little bit my Shaman the way I play my Shaman is he’s constantly group healing so all the pets that are taking little little hits and chicks there you know they’re they’re getting you know passively healed so they don’t die like instantly so it’s it works out well uh the pet is also going to and benefit from like the composite Roar line from the uh uh from the shaman which I guess I don’t see a proc here but we’ll proc a heal so heal you know there maybe it’s in here uh yeah there’s a heal involved in that so it’s pretty nice so those are all the Spells so multibind wise like if you watched everything else in my all my other videos pretty much it’s the same multibind right now what is a multibind if we go here to keys and go to H bar six which is this one right here here you can see everything is bound to one button four it’s also bound to the five button there’s reasons I have both bound but let’s just for the for this sake let’s just talk about the five right every time I push five if we go over here stand right here if I push five something happened right taunt thwart and this spell happen plus whatever is in my multibind here pet attack pet swarm you see all my pets all my pets attacked cuz I didn’t turn off key maps for is box or here let’s uh let’s get them to stop so they can stop being annoying here there we go let’s get the Mage now so every time I push five as I said it’s going to do something that time chattering bones went off along with thwart and TA in that first spell right and it just goes through like I’m spamming the button this just kind of showing I’m hitting it as fast as I can possibly push the button right that’s all I’m doing I’m pushing five one button doing all of the actions I am doing right all the AA got activated and see there Touch of zandar and this just recycles through whatever’s available right all right so I have an order to this that I have changed around for the last 115 levels as we get new spells you know and stuff like that so the multibind starts with five which is just turns on my attack it turn tells my pet to attack whatever I’m targeting it tells my swarm pet the little you see these little skeletons right there with the holding the shadow Knight epic they’re attacking right they’re going to change targets if I switch to this one over here and I just click my multibind button they all switch that’s the way I don’t I don’t have them queue up on the mob if I switch I want everybody to switch right that’s kind of how have that set I have taunt which is a standard you know level one ability right there uh is the first ability than I have thwart which is our current level um brace if you will this so the next two incoming melee attacks reduces the damage by 90% or until 64,000 damage has been absorbed with with all our AAS let me see where I can find out where this spell is actually at here th him real quick uh with our a I think it’s more than four yeah there it is it’s five 18 seconds five charges of that so every time I get hit 90% of that damage get a little shave little shave off the top right so there then I do Spear and then I do bite and then I do Terror and then I do Fang Touch of zandar which is the HP one dire indictment which is the big one and then Touch of dinder which is the Quasi leftover lowers I think 7300 one I do the AOE taunt AOE life tap and then we do have uh Bond of vck here uh we just put in so it’s there now with that we also have the AA chattering bones which is our swarm pet ability which at current level summons two level 115 skeleton minions to attack uh and they will trigger Venom claw which will do 7500 damage and return 100% of that damage back to me as healing then we have bite of chaos which instantly deals 20,000 damage and blesses everybody in the group with uh this recourse buff which gives 8,000 Health 1300 Mana 300 endurance very nice on cool down use that then we have ageless enity uh which is just another taunt this is a 15,000 Point ta uh pte 15,000 points of hate then we have projection of Doom summons a level 115 projection that generates uh 55,000 hatred and then 18,000 hatred every 5 seconds for 18 or 15 seconds if it survives for those that 15 seconds all that hatred is transferred to me where I want it uh and then we have rending blade which is a it’s just like an extra melee attack like like it’s nothing more than that right I think it swings a two-hander if we click it on here right it just swings a blade right don’t even have to have it a like a two-hander equipped I believe that’s what it is uh it might just be a normal attack at 1,200 damage uh if we look at my two-hander is my two-hander is uh 1,000 damage so my one-hander is 800 damage so it’s a pretty big attack out of the uh out of the ordinary there uh then we have unending acrimony this is another taunt it will give make the focus the Target on me for what is this uh 18 seconds giving me what is that dealing 4600 damage all of my allies so everybody in my group will generate uh 90% less hatred and a reflection will increase all hatred you generate by 60% and heal me uh 4 4600 every 18 seconds so this is is something you know to kind of like lock down aggro you know right I do it on cool down otherwise I wouldn’t even use it just because I’m that lazy if I was playing a single character I would have you know my hot bars completely set up differently or I could you know selectively use this stuff but since I I play with you know only my characters with this guy it’s just you know it works best for me next up we have uh uh oh this this one got changed so there we go we got a new one I did not realize that I guess cuz I had the rank two one uh surise blade is the uh level 115 version of this strikes your target with three sword attacks with a base damage of 37 97 40 12 4358 places you in EN Rage which will increase the damage of your spells between 106 and 115 do by 2982 and gives you haste and adds 40 uh 479 minimum damage to your melee attacks for 1 minute so it’s a nice little buff uh to you know kind of get a little extra damage out there I do I do it on cool down it’s a what 20 minute reuse I don’t it doesn’t really fit into my other uh the what I’m what I’m doing normally so I like it where it’s at uh see here then we have vs resolve would activated strikes your target with three 700 Point base damage 200 two hand/ attacks and applies resolve of weakness which increases the damage of target takes for melee damage by 20% for 1 minute this is a a minute reuse so yeah realistically I’d probably save this for like a named mob but I just do it on cool down otherwise I wouldn’t do it as I said because I am lazy and then we have reflexive resentment uh your heightened reflexes allow you to strike your target with three two-handed slashing attacks with a base damage of 1838 stealing their Essence to heal your group with reflective resentment which heals for up to 38,000 damage to the group so who knew Shadow Knights were healers uh but that is my multibind I hit this button uh hit five I have I have it on four but that’s a whole another story I don’t want to get into right now but uh I just HD Five and I’m doing all my abilities right everything goes through this this whole line of spells all the AAS get activated pretty much instantly CU they’re not on the global cool down all we’re waiting for is spells to go uh this pretty much allows me to play with one finger on the keyboard to do that and allows me to focus on other things all right so that’s that’s that now other things I do cast uh uh spite of manella this is just another uh kind of bonus thing here so it’ll let us get more uh what is this H your melee strik have a chance to lower your Target’s armor by 13 deal 22 uh 94 damage and return 150% back to me as health for 18 seconds so it’s a nice little spell lasts a little long right it’s a 5 minute duration I haven’t found the best time to use this uh I don’t feel like it’s a defensive it’s it takes away my damage it gives me the ability to life tap more but it’s it’s kind of like my last resort if you will a Scourge skin I use this you know whenever I can it gives me a 5,000 Point damage shield for 200 hits just extra damage now I brought this down from over here uh used to be up here but a deflection discipline uh I only brought that down cuz I’ve been using my shield more no normally I’m using a two-hander uh but I was looking at the the breastplate and the breastplate has a uh deflection discipline duration increased by two ticks so that’s an extra what 12 seconds or something like that uh so it gives us quite a duration uh on our uh our her ability here it’s a 40 minute reuse um but it allows us to block a lot of stuff now I have it up it’s pretty much the same as Shield flash which I have over on this side cuz I ran out of buttons over here uh but this one will uh allow me to block all incoming attacks for 6 seconds so in situations where you’re going to take a lot of damage right like when we do the group uh the group video I’m going to go kill zicar and you’ll see that initial before or he’s under control he is going to probably almost one-hot me right and so right before we activate him we’re going to pop Shield flash uh and maybe maybe deflection get that ready I don’t know uh but we’ll see how it goes I haven’t killed him yet with this character we’re going to do it together uh live in that video but uh it’s he he hits pretty hard he like almost one shot my Paladin at 125 when I tried to solo it so uh we’ll uh we’ll see that there now another ability I use here is re uh Restless mantle which is a mini defensive so this is a 1 minute duration 35% of incoming melee damage is absorbed and uh what is that 2.3 million damage and heals me for 41,000 when it’s done so it was pretty nice little thing to have now we have Cadence’s uh CAD or Kaine Kiros this another little mini defensive this one’s 20% uh what’s see here melee damage draining 4500 Health from your attackers for 2 minutes uh it will fade away once it’s done 32 times or a million damage uh now also we also got this one imper influence which is this on the same timer as caras and I haven’t had a chance to use this one yet but this one absorbs 20% of incoming melee damage but uh whenever I’m Struck it will trigger this uh life tap and return 100% back back to me up to 18,000 and it casts uh what is this a group heal of 5,500 and uh increases my pet damage by 70 753 per and adds 22 uh 22,000 hit points for 6 seconds so definitely like a different a different thing I like on my other Shadow night that’s uh 120 I never noticed this spell so this is uh some kind of something interesting they both have a you know same timer 11 same reuse same duration this one’s 20% this one’s 20% this one increases my armor class this one makes me a little bit more uh life tappy so we we we’ll try those out as we go through the next uh few levels and see uh then we also have cursed Guardian here I don’t believe this one has been updated yet yeah this one hasn’t been updated so it’s I don’t remember if this one is super weak uh let me see here you assume a fighting style of an Unholy Guardian reducing your melee damage potential by 60% but you reduce the damage You Take by 36% this discipline will trigger curse Guardian effect which will give me additional 3439 life Taps now this is a 107 discipline hasn’t been updated yet and it does take the damage down by 36% lowering my damage but I’m using a sword and board for like most of this content now and it’s not a big deal so I I use it as like a third defensive it doesn’t have the same oh damn it it doesn’t have the same limitations as absorbing a million damage or uh 2.3 million damage here so you get that full 3 minutes or 120 whatever happens first uh so that’s kind of nice to have there all right uh let’s see here Reapers bargain now i’ I’ve used this ability twice and it’s pretty nice right let’s read the description here wind activated consumes 950 endurance per second increases your unconscious Health by 70,000 so I can get to zero health and go down 70,000 more so it’s like an extra hit absorb 5% of incoming M uh damage with my Mana at a rate of 100 damage to 40 Mana while granting a rune that protects you against in incoming melee hits that inflict at least 31,000 damage absorbing 75% of the damage that exceeds 31,000 for 2 minutes and 30 seconds this Rune can absorb 51 or five 5,7 before fading uh let see Reaver bargain can only be activated when you’re above 20% mana and endurance and cannot be manually removed early but will trigger reavers exhaustion should your mana and or endurance drop below 10% which ends the bargain and drains your REM remaining remaining mana and endurance right uh exhaustion just drains it so if you’re if you’re high on resources this is really good uh but I it like it sounds great but I every time I’ve used it I end up with zero resources so I feel like I haven’t hit the point where I need it yet well maybe need it on Santa car for sure when we do that because he is going to hit like a truck and uh we’ll see how that goes uh other Buffs here we have Vis of death which is uh turns you know gives us a 265 per extra Dam melee damage and then Vis of a Decay which increases the Mana cost of our spells but increases the damage of our uh damage over time spells by 100% so it’s pretty nice and direct damage by 65 uh let’s see here I think that’s everything right uh gear wise the best gear you can get groupwise is snow Sall no not snow squall what am I thinking it’s vum threaded uh is the best crafted gear you can get at 115 which is slightly better than I think waxing gear I think I have no I don’t even have it on me anymore uh waxing is the Terra of luckland tier one gear I believe this edges It Out by like 100 hit points or something like that uh I had I had some velium threaded laying around so I’m using it right now um I do have uh the raid breastplate The Raid helmet and something else I thought I had something else maybe I don’t oh raid arms I do have those which is the vum owed which is better than uh anything groupwise you can get uh I am also using the vum owed Warhammer uh which is a RAID raid crafted hammer and shield and I do have the raid crafted two-hander um moving forward after these we’re going to be only using group gear all the way up and except weapons all the way to 125 cuz I just don’t feel like spending 2 million a piece on stuff I got a good deal on these things so I’m just not doing that so as we get into the higher levels we’ll be doing that so that’s kind of where you should go I I started with snowbound uh in snow squall and just get that I actually got this belt killing some guy in uh COV getting my spells earlier today uh so definitely some stuff there that you can uh pick up but uh let’s see here I think that’s everything so um unless I miss anything the multibind is really the most important with the spell like everything else is pretty much the same as we’ve done before if there’s any questions or comments if I missed something that I should have covered let me know and I’ll cover it in the 120 video this should be uh hopefully sooner than later but uh thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic day for
