Castle Nektropos

Hello and welcome to my legendary adventures in Norrath. Today we are back in EverQuest Legends. And we’re going to visit a new zone, Natropos Castle, and we’re going to start doing that. So, there’s a quest that needs to be completed to gain entry, so we’re going to do that now. I’ll make it a warrior, a bard, and a shaman, because there’s a lot of running involved. And I feel like it will be useful for completing tasks. So, let’s call out our favorite. I was completely, absolutely unprepared . And we need to get to the Neck first, not the Lava Storm, so let’s do that. We’ll have a chat when we get there. The Neck Gate, so we’ll use the Neck Gate. I recommend that if you are going to do these quests for this area, have an open druid and wizard up to level 25 or 46 in the case of the wizard. And then you go through the quest itself as a bard so you can run fast, right? So, this is what I recommend. I did this on a test server, and well, hopefully everything will go well today. But you can see a picture right there of what the place looks like. So once we get into the zone, I have n’t updated my maps yet, but if we…Oh, let me overlay this and get the running speed back . This is where the zone line is. I haven’t updated my map display yet, so it’s not there. Warrior, bard, shaman. Oh, I did n’t even have the right spells. There are still no correct spells . Let me take a look. Travel. Here it is. Something was clearly wrong with my spells today. I don’t know what exactly I had there. Let’s see if I have…I guess I have n’t been in the game for a while, so it’s definitely interesting, yeah. But we have some new gear. If you follow my boss killing videos, you know, I show off gear and stuff. For example, an earring is 10, a face is 10, a neck is 10. Earrings, rings are 6, a sword is 10 10. Yes, that’s the boundary of the zone right here, at the end of the river. If you’re playing regular EverQuest, this is roughly the same area where the Chorus Creep zone boundary is. So now we’re inside the zone that’s so interesting . This is a map display from ancient times. And that’s how the map used to look, but they changed it during development, so that’s because it was in the files. So what we’re going to do first—we’re going to approach this guy. We’ll stand right here. We won’t talk to him, but what we will do is L and then we will perform a ritual. What are we, do we have a Shaman? Wait, we don’t need to spend all our mana here. Mm, different bindings. If you don’t have a caster in your party, you’ll want to make a binding here. The reason is that you will be coming back here quite often. So you should do it. This quest requires level 46, because you have to go to the Plane of Hatred, which is why I say make sure you do it with someone who has a 46th wizard. level so you can just go straight in . But of course, that’s your choice. You can do whatever you want . Okay, let’s just run through here. I’m supposed to be KOS here , if I’m not mistaken. Yes, I’m KOS here, so we’ll have to sneak in . In we have 20,000 platinum and nowhere to go , so uh , you know, you might have a different experience, but uh, let’s go. It’s good to be here. And so, we’re in the Hate Plane. Let’s put them on because we might have to fight, and the monsters in the open world of the Hate Plane are stronger than the solo ones, so there might be, uh, you know, some difficulties, I don’t know. I have n’t played this build in a while , so I’m not going to, uh Oh [ __ ]. Spirit Fist. Okay. I think I changed the way I use buffs from, uh, that way to this. I started using it in the Plane of Hatred, which is the Plane of Heaven, because it lets me deal more damage and boosts my stats. You see, my stats are already pretty high here. So, we just need to get up there. I’m not even going to bother with invisibility. Uh, now that I think about it, since there are enough people here, there shouldn’t be anything left alive. Yeah, there ‘s one mob there. Uh, but we’re just going to go straight through here. And those mobs are all dead, so we can just walk past. Now, I figure all the mini- bosses are probably dead. Yeah. Well , Master Spite is in place. He’s not worth killing. Uh, Scorn is in place, not worth killing. kill. And the Grand Master, who is worth killing, is missing. There she is, right here, so that’s where we’re headed. Uh, just right through this place. And we see here that there’s that building right there. And uh, we do this and that . Okay, perfect. This elite dragoon wants to fight, but uh, it’s okay . We can go up here. And we’ll see her . We’ll say hello to her. I was going to, I was going to level Necromancer, but then I realized that this zone here is like level 10, right? So I, I wouldn’t be able to, I wouldn’t really be able to level it, right? So, uh, I kind of gave up on the idea of leveling Necromancer after we unlocked the half-dark elf race. We’re going to do that. Maybe we’ll level like them, but okay, perfect. Now, uh, we should be fine. Now we can load our buffs. And we have a mount. Now , as a Dark Knight, we’re running at almost bard speed on our mount, so, uh , that’s pretty good. We’re going to do this on zero difficulty because I need, uh, I need screenshots for my website. Uh, but for the most part, it doesn’t matter. Oh my god, seriously? 3 minutes. Okay, it’s going to take us 3 minutes to get there. Okay, so from here, if we go back to the standard maps, uh, we just need to run north, and it’s right here. Now, uh, we should be headed in the right direction . Hopefully, by the time we get into the zone, we can, uh, we can do something. There’s some good stuff there. Uh , I’m not going to lie. Uh , there’s some good stuff you’ll find in this zone, but, uh, this is how lucky. Wow, there’s a lot of people just passing by. Okay, let’s, uh, click on the door. And we’re going to do a zero difficulty instance. So, like I said, I need items, okay? So I can update the website. Well, but, you know, you can definitely do whatever you want. You see, there’s already a lot of people here, so let’s create a zero difficulty instance or something. I was doing an open world on zero difficulty on a test server with a guy, and we killed pretty much everything that was available in the area, so I’m curious to see what that leads to. Okay. Come on. Okay, we still have a minute. Okay. Oh, well , I guess I have time. I still need to summon my pet. Summon undead. We’re going to need a frenzy summon. A shaman pet is better than a shadow knight pet. Let’s throw the healing. But it’s an easy fight, right? I can’t even imagine us having any trouble with this. And on difficulty four, right? When we do this. And perfect. Let’s see, he teleports again. But all the possessions are scattered, right? So he dropped a weapon for the robber. Which is called the ” Supernova”, right? So let’s take a look at this. Very good. So , uh, what’s interesting, right? Like, uh… I’m losing reputation with this faction, but I’m already an enemy to them, so it doesn’t matter. Okay, I don’t have to kill him. Okay, and another door. Um, I…I took all the glitter because I wear it as a shadow knight. I wish the pet armor was stored in the equipment sets, because it’s definitely, uh, something that’s a little annoying to have to switch every time. Here Yeah, we got another one. Okay , let’s do five. Seven. Come on, eight. She’s a level 54 paladin, right? So this could be, you know, a tougher fight depending on your class. I’m just going to slow her down to make it easier. This is probably one of the most interesting builds I’ve played. Now, switching from monk to necromancer is another really interesting build. That’s what I’m planning on doing next. But you see, I just completely healed myself with one skill, right? That’s just crazy. While I’m on Puma, I’m doing some pretty good damage. That’s it . And all my stuff is about level 10. So, that didn’t do anything . There’s another… three more things over there, but Okay, let’s keep looking. So, that’s where it leads . We’ve been there. We already gone through there. What is this?
