EverQuest Legends patch notes, read through and sorted into what actually changes how you play.
The October 22 update is a pet pass: command locks, a taunt toggle that moves threat by 75% or 50%, and backstabbing pets that can now kick and bash. Berserkers get Rampage rank 2 and a cleaner stance, and the October 23 hotfix cleans up the Necropolis. Then the spoilers: the datamine for reincarnation and the dark half-elf unlock.
Raid recovery is the headline of October 13: every boss on a lockout is now a checkpoint, and the replay timer requirement for joining a group raid is gone, though a boss that has already died for you that day drops nothing. Pets get a new weapon ratio calculation and a higher level cap, and a critical damage bug that was costing someone a bonus is fixed.
No patch this week, only a hotfix with two language fixes: half-elf characters now get a language when they are created, and the common language for Iksars, Ogres and Trolls is now 100, existing characters included. The rest is a note that the team is busy, Kunark is in the works, and a big patch every week is not a realistic expectation.
EverQuest Legends patch notes for August 25, 2026: the State of Unrest revamp and what it dropped, raid boss health cut in multiplayer, bulk turn-ins that no longer tank your frame rate, and a faction change that makes the halfling unlock far easier.
Mistmoore Castle gets the full revamp treatment: guaranteed named spawns, a guaranteed drop on every one of them, and rare status for the mote rates. The charm nerfs in Plane of Sky are the ones to read if you run a charm build, and grouping finally pays an experience bonus.
The first real EverQuest Legends patch after launch, plus the hotfixes through August 6. Upper Guk loses its named placeholders, Irridium refunds go out, and household disconnects get addressed.
The EverQuest Legends launch day patch notes. Kerrans go live, stun immunity cuts both ways, six classes get auto-granted AAs, and placeholders come out of The Hole, Lower Guk, Nagafen's Lair, Splitpaw, the Warrens, and Mistmoore.
