Agnostic Deity Unlock
Renouncing your faith takes about twenty minutes: hail the emissary on the Oasis docks, then kill Cazic Thule and Innoruuk at difficulty zero. The reward is a 200 point lift to your faction caps.
One of the shortest unlocks in the game if you can already handle the gods. Hail the emissary on the Oasis docks, tell him your gods have gone quiet, and the task is simply to kill Cazic Thule and Innoruuk. Difficulty zero counts. The unlock fires the moment the second one dies, and what you get is a permanent lift to what your factions can reach.
Starting It
One emissary, three lines of dialogue.
- The emissary stands on the docks in the Oasis, near the void link that ports to Plane of Hate.
- Drop invisibility before hailing. Invisibility breaks NPC dialogue all over this quest line.
- Say their voices have diminished in your ears, then say you will follow this path.
- That opens Renouncing Your Faith, which is the whole quest: go and beat the gods, and you walk free of their shadow.
Credit for the location goes to Cream, who sent me where to find this guy. He is not signposted, and the quest is not something you stumble into.
The Two Kills
Easier than the wording suggests.
- Cazic Thule in Plane of Fear and Innoruuk in Plane of Hate.
- Difficulty zero is accepted, so you do not need to be geared for the real versions.
- The unlock fires immediately on the second kill, with no return trip to the emissary.
- You keep the loot from both, so it is not a wasted run either way.
Why It Is Worth Doing
Not cosmetic.
- Your faction caps rise by about 200, so factions you had already maxed can climb further. Knights of Truth was sitting a couple of hundred short of ally and gained the headroom.
- You become indifferent to far more of the world, Erudin and the trolls among them. Some places stay dubious or worse, so it is a lift rather than an amnesty.
- Your old deity goes away. I was Bertoxxulous from starting as a Gnome, and came out an agnostic Iksar Warrior, Cleric, Bard.
- That makes every other faction quest easier, which is the real reason to do this early rather than late.
Agnostic at a Glance
- Go to the Oasis docks and find the emissary near the void link.
- Drop invisibility, then hail him.
- Say your gods' voices have diminished, then that you will follow the path.
- Take Renouncing Your Faith from the dialogue.
- Kill Cazic Thule and Innoruuk, difficulty zero is fine.
- The unlock fires on the second kill. No hand in.

Hello and welcome to EverQuest Legends beta. Today I’m going to show you where you start the quest to unlock the Agnostic deity. Now, I just run ran through the whole thing thinking I was recording it and I wasn’t, so uh this guy right here is the start of the quest and he will unlock deity Agnostic here, you can see here. I I completed it just a few moment moments ago, but let’s go and hail him and go through this. All right, I’m invisible. So, let’s drop that. And that. Hail him again. Hello again, Gnome Regard. How goes your journey so far? Have you spoken to your gods lately or have they their voices diminished in your ears? Their voices have diminished in my ears. Ah. A loss of faith not unheard of amongst the followers of the gods, but not common, either. If you truly wish to renounce your faith, know that it is not for the faint of heart. If you wish to follow this path, you will have to face the gods themselves and overcome them. After you do, so you will be able to walk free of the shadow of the gods. Such is the will of Zeborak that all mortals forge their own path. I will follow this path. You’ve already begun your path out of the shadows and the of the gods. Continue it and walk your own path, right? That’s cuz I’ve already done the comple- the quest, but right then it’ll pop up a task like this called Renouncing Your Faith, and then it’s going to tell you to go kill Cazic-Thule and Innoruuk. Now, you can kill these on difficulty zero. Uh I wish I would have recorded it, but we went and killed them. Uh you know, you got get some loot and stuff from those. And uh as soon as you kill, you know, the last one, whichever one it is, uh you’ll immediately get the unlock right here. So, as soon as Cazic died, the quest updated, and I got the deity unlock, right? Now, you can see I’m now an agnostic iksar warrior cleric bard, right? So, uh pretty nice. And then uh one thing I wanted to show is uh when you become agnostic, say cuz I was Bertoxxulous before because I started as a gnome, uh your factions will change slightly, right? So, Knights of Truth was uh right here. So, it was uh I think it was 200 300 from ally, right? So, I gained the ability to have my my faction cap increased by 200, right? So, definitely uh it’s it’s it’s really nice for doing some of these factions. You’re going to be liked by a lot more people. You can see here, I’m now indifferent to, you know, Erudin, uh trolls. I’m indifferent to a lot of the different races there. I am still KOS to some places or dubious or lower in other places, right? Uh but, you know, that’s faction work for another day. So, definitely uh nice little quick quest if you can kill the gods really quick. So, definitely something to uh look at that into. And uh thanks to uh Cream for sending me the location of this guy uh to >> [laughter] >> to uh to do the quest, but uh there we go. So, Emissary of Zurook deity unlock, agnostic. Shouldn’t take you, but uh it took me like 20 minutes to go kill both gods and then make my way um to redo this. So, uh there There That is how you unlock Agnostic Deity in Everquest Legends Beta. Thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic day.

Kedge Keep SHM / SK / NEC - 42
Testing whether Kedge Keep is worth levelling in at 42. It reportedly has no experience penalty, and it still is not worth the effort. Ends with three mermaids and a scramble for air.
The "BEST" Start - Everquest Legends
The case for starting Iksar: every guild master, every caster and hybrid spell vendor, the bank and the mote trader in one hub, opening onto North Ro with ports to Hate and Sky either side of you.
Crushbone SHM / SK / WIZ 14 to 15
A full clear of the revamped Crushbone at level 14, instanced at difficulty 1 so nothing flees. Every route in, the named that the game never flags as named, the wood elf faction grind, and the clicky damage shield that is the only real reason to come.
