Cazic Thule - WAR / BRD / CLR - d3 solo
Cazic Thule at difficulty three on Warrior, Cleric and Bard, the build I intend to go live with. No stance dancing, a parser showing the off hand is only 8 percent of my damage, and two AAs I should have bought sooner.
Cazic Thule at difficulty three on Warrior, Cleric and Bard, opening with a pull I could not survive on my other build and clearing it here almost by accident. This is the build I intend to go live with. It does not do much damage and it does not die, and the parser at the end says something useful: my off hand is 8 percent of my damage, so a shield would cost me almost nothing.
The Pull That Makes the Case
The video opens mid-disaster, and that is the point.
- I pulled one mob and got six, both minis, and all their adds. On my other build this pull was not survivable.
- Here I killed most of it while talking over it, died once because I was not paying attention, and finished the rest.
- Instant cast Promise Renewal is the difference. Night and day between having a cleric and not having one.
- My conclusion from that: the other healers need a significant power increase before release, because the gap is not close.
- The minis perma-root you, which is more irritating than dangerous.
- Tormentors do not dispel here. On live they strip your buffs; in Legends they knock you across the zone instead.
No Stance Dancing
Which is the quiet luxury of this build.
- Over channel, and stay there. The negative resist rate lands every dot and I never have to leave it.
- Bard dots are weak next to a shaman or necromancer dot, and they are free damage in a stance I want to be in anyway.
- Compare the shaman build: constant dancing between invocations, recovery to get mana back, over channel to land anything at all at difficulty two. This is simply more pleasant.
- I call it the streaming friendly build. Set it going and it mostly runs itself, which is why I stop noticing when he slows me.
- Offensive stance is available. Damage rises noticeably, incoming goes into the 200s, and Promise Renewal absorbs the difference.
Ward of the Divine Is Doing More Than It Looks
Twenty percent of my damage from a proc.
- It is 20 percent of total damage, which puts a buff proc level with my main hand.
- It hits things I am not targeting. I catch it landing on Dread's pet while I am fighting something else.
- Keep it up. Losing it mid-fight is a real damage loss, and it is easy to miss falling off in a crowded buff bar.
- Blood Boil in the off hand was a viewer suggestion and it earns its place, crits included.
Two AAs to Buy Earlier Than I Did
Learned by not having one.
- Fear resistance. I skipped it because it cost 988 and I did not think I got feared enough. Facing a fear-caster here, that was wrong.
- Adamant Will belongs on the same early list.
- Both make things meaningfully easier rather than marginally, and I say so having gone without.
The Fight Itself
Easier than the trash in front of it.
- He rolled shadowknight, necromancer and berserker this time. The combination is not fixed, so this is a draw rather than a profile.
- Berserker is a weak multiclass on an NPC, which is lucky here. Spell damage is the real threat from these combinations, so a caster-heavy roll is the one to fear.
- He carries Blood Fire
Blood FireEQLMAGIC ITEM LORE ITEMSlot: PRIMARY SECONDARYSkill: 1H SlashingDMG11DLY24RATIO0.46Effect: Boil Blood (Combat, Casting Time: Instant) at Level 46WT: 2.5 Size: MEDIUMClass: WARRace: ALLSource: Plane of Fear, Cazic Thule (God), Fright, Dread, Terror, so there is extra damage coming in throughout. - He chain-casts one spell, Insidious Retrogradation, for around 500. Repeating himself works in my favour.
- The bard song keeps him permanently 20 percent slowed, which is the only slow I have and is doing a lot of work.
- Root and knockback throughout, which is noise rather than danger.
- He is not undead, so Turn Undead does nothing here. It does work on the Dracolich on the way in.
- Divine Aura held in reserve as the panic button. Never needed.
Finishing blows are worth pushing for. 563 and 475 at low health, with the AA at 300 percent extra crit damage. Flurries are rare enough that I colour them yellow and suspect they are bugged.
What the Parser Shows, and the Shield Question
The most actionable read of any of these fights.
- 68,800 hit points, killed at 124 DPS.
- Dots are 40 percent, 28,000 damage, and the highest single dot is the slow. Disruptive Discord is 7 percent.
- Ward of the Divine is 20 percent.
- Main hand piercing is 21 percent. Off hand slashing is 8. The off hand proc adds 1.5.
- So a shield costs me almost nothing. Dropping the off hand for one to turtle harder gives up single digits of damage, which changes what is possible at higher difficulty.
- The catch is bash. Bash and cleave share a timer, so shielding up trades one for the other rather than adding.
- He dealt 50,000 at about 90 DPS, connecting roughly half the time, with a max hit of 900.
- I healed 46,000 out of a potential 79,000, overhealing by 33 percent. My largest single heal was 4,800 against a Promise Renewal that can do 6,300, so I was topping up early.
Caveat I state myself: EQ Log Parser is not fully accurate for Legends, so treat the percentages as shape rather than precision.
Where the Damage Could Come From
Gear, not skill.
- I am roughly 3,000 hit points short of the highest I have seen anyone at, around 9,000.
- Blue diamond earrings would close part of that, and I cannot be bothered to craft them in a beta that gets deleted.
- A ring upgraded to plus ten reaches 40 or 50 AC, which is the sort of number that makes offensive stance viable at difficulty four.
- Six hundred AC is the target. People are there; at that point these fights can be done in offensive rather than defensive.
- A right-click slow hammer exists somewhere. Charge-limited, and I have not gone looking for it, but landing a real slow on this fight would matter.
What I Am Playing at Launch
Thought out during the long fight.
- Warrior and Cleric are fixed. The third slot is the open question, and Bard is winning on consistency rather than power.
- Paladin as the level 50 unlock, not the main. It is strong, with a Promise Renewal clicky and lay hands, but maining it means giving up the race I want.
- Warrior, Cleric and Shaman is the build I keep circling. It gains a real slow and a second priest class boosting Divine, and gives up everything the bard brings.
- Levelling plan: Befallen for the Baron's Blade
The Baron's BladeEQLLORE ITEMSlot: PRIMARY SECONDARYSkill: 1H SlashingDMG10DLY30RATIO0.33HP5STA+5DEX+5WT: 5 Size: MEDIUMClass: WAR PAL RNG SHD BRD ROGRace: ALLSource: Befallen, Baron Telyx V`Zher and a dagger to plus three or four, which carries to 25 or 30. Guk to 40. The Hole to 46. Hate at 46 for armour, then Fear, then Sky for the warrior weapon and belt. - Then alts, keeping warrior and cleric fixed so the gear never has to change while cycling a third class for AAs.
What I Think They Got Wrong
Said plainly, after several days on the other build.
- Shaman heal over time needs far more healing. Four or five days on shadowknight, necromancer and shaman convinced me of that.
- Life taps can no longer crit heal. That nerf removed a genuinely interesting interaction: taking a healer alongside a necromancer for double dot damage and crit healing together.
- I am flabbergasted at some of the choices, which is the strongest way I put it.
One experiment worth repeating: the bard AoE mana drain in place of Disruptive Discord. In group and experience content it empties caster mobs quickly and they stop being a threat. Less useful on a raid target.

Hello and welcome to Emerald Coast Legends beta. >> [laughter] >> Uh now I was on my shadow knight necro shaman I could not complete this pull right but I’m here on my warrior cleric bard and look at this I pulled it all at once. Uh everything that was like right here and I’m just destroying it and uh it is actually kind of hilarious. Uh I’m just getting like teleported around randomly by stuns and stunned permanently but I have like instant cast promised renewal like it’s just absolutely night and day the difference between the two builds. I’m I’m taking these two minis I obviously died cuz I I started talking but like I killed the most of it that’s the thing like that’s how crazy it is. Uh how strong it is now like it’s all mostly dead now so I can just go and kill them and like they all have pets too like this is insane. Uh but today today we’re going to do uh difficulty three um Kel’Thuzad with uh with this build. Let’s rebuff. And my buffs aren’t even up yet. All right we got enough mana let’s let’s kill this guy over here. Uh definitely uh you know pretty funny like I was able to you know take that the the shaman didn’t last half as long as that so Now these are all like this is difficulty three. This is uh I think the highest difficulty I’ve done with uh uh Kel’Thuzad so it’s definitely going to be a challenge. But this is this is probably the build I’m going live with um I’ve I’ve tried so many builds I’ve done so many things and this one is just survivable uh it’s not a lot of damage right like I’m not going to lie. It’s not a lot of damage. But, uh it stays alive. That’s truly what really matters to me. Uh now, I could probably be in offensive stance. Like, let’s not get this Let’s not get confused here, but I could probably do that. Just fine. Let me just make sure I got all my stuff on correctly. Yeah. I feel like I’m missing a few hit points, but who knows what that could actually be. Uh but, uh I’m using overchannel to make sure all my dots land. And you as you can see, it’s going pretty well. Um and those are going to do some, you know, moderate damage, right? Like, it’s not like you know, a shot a shaman or a necro’s dot, right? But, it is still free damage, and I can do it in overchannel without wasting mana. Uh so, it’s even better. Uh there. So, uh definitely something nice to uh think about. Uh but, this build is definitely my uh number one build right now that I like. Um Uh obviously, I’m not the first person to come up with this build either. So, it is it is uh definitely very fun for me. Uh I like playing warrior. I like uh I like bard cuz I can run fast early on you know, early game. Don’t really Doesn’t really matter at level 50 cuz, you know, you just go to the raids and you know, you spawn the instance, right? Like, it’s not as It’s not as crazy. But, uh you know, early on when you’re running around in the dungeons and stuff, I think we did warrior cleric monk uh in I think one of the lower-level zones. And that was just a phenomenal whole time, too. So, uh I think it gives us a lot of variety we can do with this uh you know, warrior is the main I’m probably going to unlock paladin uh this time my thing on retail. I feel like that’s where I’m going. Uh just because of how powerful Paladin is, but I don’t want to main a Paladin because it I can’t be the race I want. So, uh rather just take the unlock at level 50 and call it a day and uh and then, you know, start working on playing a sky uh once we get to 46. But, definitely uh I feel like I’m doing pretty good. We got the blood boil uh you know, that crits. It’s a weapon proc, so that’s pretty nice. But, you can see here we’re like we’re in overchannel, which gives us a you know, negative resist rate. So, like all the dots land. And uh for the shaman build, right, that we you know, that’s in the previous video, we had to like pretty much dance between all the different uh invocations to be able to do anything. Uh you know, like to get mana back, we had to go into recovery to go into to get to land any spell in D2, I had to go into overchannel for the most part. It was not It’s not as It’s not as pleasant as just being able to do this, right? Uh so, it is uh you know, just some feedback there that you know, if you’re you’re trying to think of what you want to play, uh you know, this is a fun build. You could definitely augment this and you know, take out take out Bard and switch it with probably any class. Uh I’m I’m going I I think we have an enchanter we were doing, right? I’ve made so many characters, I don’t even know. Uh yeah, warrior, cleric, enchanter. Yeah, that was a pretty fun one, right? Um So, there’s things like that that are uh you know, pretty good. We probably should go kill this trash. Um I don’t know what happens when you fight uh Kazak and there’s trash up. Like I always kill it all, so it’s what we’re going to do. Oh, hello. Didn’t even realize you were within aggro range there, buddy. Uh but uh thanks for for coming down. I appreciate you. Uh I think I’m going to switch to the top to tormentor. Yeah. These uh these these minis like perma-root you, too. So, it’s like kind of not that fun to not be able to move or anything like that. So, uh the tormentors, they don’t dispel you like they do on live. They just knock you across the zone. Definitely a a different experience, if you will. Well, our beast lord slowed us. All right, that’s gone. Perfect. Let’s get our dots going again because cast, but it’s definitely uh fun. So, we’re going to do three, and if we we’re successful at killing Kazzak three, we’re going to do four. Uh that’s kind of like the plan here today. So, but uh we’ll do those in two different videos cuz uh I’m going to take a I’m going to take a break after this. I just I zoned in here, and I I pulled one mob, and I got like six and the two minis and all their little adds around them, and I was trying to trying to get it all loaded up and not die and then talk at the same time, and it was just it’s hard to do. Uh but it’s it’s hilarious. It It truly is. Like the the the tank ability uh between having a cleric and not having a cleric is absolutely insane. Uh they definitely need to increase the power of the other healers significantly before release. Just going to keep slowing me there, buddy? And I’m not going to notice it. Are we still procking word of the divine? Yes, we are. Perfect. This word of the divine thing is is pretty low-key strong. Like uh been noticing that more and more. But uh we have one AA but nothing to spend it on. Definitely uh definitely enjoying this a lot. Now, having uh the blood boil in the off hand is actually pretty good. Um I wasn’t sure what to put there. The only thing I like I got I had uh was uh these these ignite procs and Acacia. And someone suggested that, so worked out pretty well. Now, I’m hoping uh like so today is a Monday, so I’m hoping tomorrow a Tuesday they release the sky and then we can go into sky and we’ll do all the sky videos and all that stuff. Because uh that is honestly where I think I want to be is kind of in this in this beta, you know, farming sky and you know, going through solo sky and see how far we can complete there. Uh I’m almost certain this guy here can do like all of sky difficulty zero. Maybe difficulty one, two. Uh three and four, that’s you know, we’re doing three three and four here and their idea is that sky is going to be harder than the normal plane, so. Uh you know, definitely uh that’s what it’s going to be and now stop song. >> [snorts] >> I got to I got to put like stop song on all my stuff, right? It’s I kind of stopped setting up the UI because I’m going to have to redo it all when uh when live comes out. Let me see if I can do this real quick. Um There we go. I like it like this. This is the new uh new thing they added to the modern UI here. Uh now you can see the names of all the songs and stuff. Instead of like holding down alt, it’s uh it’s definitely nice. Now, this guy just does not die. He like has so many points. It just takes forever and ever to kill this guy on most difficulties, right? I I realized on uh one of the difficulties I can land invulnerable on him uh pretty easily, so that was nice. But uh for the most part, it is uh plus he’s keeps slowing me and I’m not noticing it cuz the buffs are like way over there. Definitely need to uh set up EQ log parser uh things like for uh you’re slowed and all that kind of stuff. But it it definitely gets harder because you can’t have like you know the Gina triggers that that exist, right? Uh since these mobs are all like multi uh multi-class, right? They’re they’re able to cast things that are outside their normal their normal stuff. So, all the triggers and stuff are missing like, you know, the slow and all that other stuff, so. Definitely uh interesting there. There we go. Sure we’re getting all those going there. Uh but definitely these are longer fights. Uh so, uh I think for D4, I’ll just skip to Cazic cuz [laughter] I’ve already started this. I’m not going to just cut it down, but uh this is these two will be This guy will go down faster though. This this one’s just the pain. Uh mostly cuz he keeps slowing me and I’m not really paying attention. Cuz I don’t have to with this build, right? Like this is this is like the the friendly the streaming friendly build. You just uh get it going, you don’t have to really think about it. You just let it deploy. I don’t think my uh AoE slow is landing on him, either. So And he did it again. But uh definitely definitely the the the best combo I’ve found yet. Uh the I didn’t find Shadowknight Cleric Bard to be as good, but I didn’t have gear at the time. Uh that might be something I revisit, but I’m almost more interested in going down the Paladin path of uh getting to Paladin Berserker Monk. I think I’m Paladin with all the clickies that they have. They have like a promise renewal clicky. They have lay on hands that goes on, you know, every you know, at least every 10 minutes. I don’t know exactly that, but uh definitely feel like that would be would be nice to have. Jeez, he has just And it’s still There you go. It’s like the first thing he does when he gets a little bit of mana is uh is do that. Now, something I was experimenting with was uh there’s a AoE uh mana drain that Bards get, and I started experimenting with that uh in replace of Denon’s Destructive Discord, right? I popped that in. And low key, it was actually pretty uh pretty interesting in in uh experience like ex- grouping kind of situation, right? Like not a uh like dungeons, not raids, right? It was kind of interesting because all the mobs that, you know, normally they’re just chain casting. You drain their mana relatively quickly. Uh, and they’re no longer a threat, which is uh which is kind of funny. Uh, but you can see here, this guy is just a lot of hit points. Uh, definitely there’s more more resist we can get to. So. Uh, and the the highest HP I’ve seen is almost 9,000. So, we’re like almost 3,000 hit points off from from where we could be. So, that is that is other other good news, right? Like if I replace these earrings with like blue diamond earrings, you know, like I’m just too lazy to go craft them, right? Uh, because it’s it is uh, you know, it’s beta. >> [laughter] >> It’s all not going to be here, you know. So, definitely uh on the live version, uh doing trade skills is going to be worth the effort. All right, what do we got here? We’re going to tentacle terror. And a boogeyman. I’m going to ignore the boogeyman. Um Oh. I was going to just do that, but I’m stunned. Or rooted, I guess. Cool root by uh whatever that was. And this should uh should be fine. Is he a beast lord, too? Oh my god, he is, isn’t he? This is not pleasant. I don’t like that I’m got my back [clears throat] to one of them. I really want to get this ad gone, right? Like that’s that’s my goal, right? I get rid of this ad. Uh get rid of the other ad, but the other Look at the boogeyman. He’s almost dead and I haven’t even I haven’t even targeted me yet. Come on. There we go. And perfect. Oh, that’s that’s better. All right, let’s get promise renewal. >> [laughter] >> I’m sure I’m not sure what I Oh, I lost a word. All right, let’s get word back. Uh there we go. Perfect. I’m almost certain word hits things that I’m not targeting, right? You can see the boogeyman. Let’s see here. Dread’s pet got hit by word. I’m not targeting Dread’s pet, so uh that is kind of nice. There’s a word and there we go. We got them all. Just takes a little bit of time. Now, Dread is at 85%. We haven’t even done anything to him yet. That’s just from the cleaves and the AoE dots and stuff, so uh hopefully it goes pretty well here. Now, what are we going to fight when we get over here to uh Dragalich? We got a knight and a Gale Lord. Oh god. >> [gasps] >> Oh man. Uh I don’t think they can dispel. Uh he does fear though. Uh which is going to be annoying cuz I did not buy uh fearless yet, did I? I don’t even see fearless, but Is it worth my cost, maybe? There fear resistance, there it is. Oh yeah, I didn’t buy it cuz it was like 988. >> [laughter] >> I was just like “You know what? I’m going to wait on that one. You know, I got I got other things to do. I don’t get feared enough. Turns out that is very important. That one and adamant will definitely put those on your early to do list for the AAs for sure. Because they will >> [sighs] >> definitely make things slightly easier for you. There we go. Now, if I’m not mistaken, Dracolich is undead, so I’ll be able to do turn undead on him and get hopefully a little bit more damage. He’s going to be probably pretty rough. Uh we should be able to clear clear his his AoE pretty quick, but he’s going to be pretty rough. Now, what I think I was thinking about trying warrior cleric shaman. You know, that gives me the slow. You know, I I lose all the bard stuff, which I mean you could reasonably say that you could you’d be okay with it, right? Uh you lose all the slow, you gain PR cuz you’re you know, you have the cleric, right? >> [snorts] >> But then you have dots and stuff. Plus you have two priest class, which will then increase divine. Uh there’s some definitely some play there that could be fun. But I think that would be you know, very I think I think a lot of these builds are going to be very specific to uh certain encounters and stuff like that. I mean killing this trash is is is kind of kind of tedious. I’m not going to lie. Uh with my damage, right? Like I can probably go into offensive, right? Let’s do offensive. Let’s pop a a renewal. And let’s go to melee damage, right? My damage goes up significantly at this point, right? Uh but I’m also taking a lot more incoming damage. All right, I’m getting hit in the 200s. But uh with promise renewal, it kind of negates all that. So, it’s really interesting. I Whatever way you want to go with that. Now, uh I’m going to get mana before we do this one. All right. Let’s see here. We’re going to probably try to kill the trash first. Uh I shouldn’t be able to off tank whatever a Dracolich does, honestly. All right, go with this one. All right, promise renewal’s on. I’m taking a lot of damage. I like I feel like I’m Oh, yeah, cuz I’m not in All right, there we go. >> [laughter] >> I’m like, I’m taking a lot of damage. And we don’t want to be messing around right now. We’re going to kill the uh everything and then we’ll kill Dracolich, right? Like, he’s at 98% just from cleave, so uh I feel like that’s plenty. There, actually, let’s do this. Dracolich, let’s turn undead on him. And then we’ll kill his pet. Cuz the pets are pets are actually damage, right? Like >> [laughter] >> No joke, if you watch the uh the necro uh shaman shadow knight videos, uh the pet is actually doing some significant damage, so. Definitely worth uh worth that there. Let’s get another heal, please. Thank you very much. And we’re back on you. All right, so we got rotting flesh. Let’s click that off. There we go. And back that. So, promise renewal is going to hit in 2 seconds, so we should be fine for that. Excellent. Now, we’re just going to sit here uh for the next 45 minutes. >> [laughter] >> I mean, look at his health. It’s not really going down. Let’s go. Here, let’s uh let’s stop song. Go into over channel. Over channel. Come on. Stop song. Over channel, please. React to my button pushing. There we go. This will uh this will help us a little bit, right? Uh what does he got? Nature’s Precision, Steely Steel. I’m going to pillage his enchantment, but let’s do it. I don’t think he’s going to hit the damage shield. That’s the only problem. Ah, we got it. Perfect. Wheel of Ill Will, I guess. Your Call Earth. And still have the damage shield on it. Damn it. Definitely uh definitely some optimization we could do. Um No, I I’m told there is a right click slow hammer we can get from somewhere. I need to look into that. I haven’t like spent any effort on it, but it’s got charges, so it’s not like a you know, you just keep it keep it around forever kind of thing, but uh definitely would be nice to have something like that for some of these these more difficult bosses. Not this one per se, but landing it on Kazak would be nice. Uh as we saw in the uh the shaman video, like landing slow is definitely uh a boon to killing these things. But, uh it’s definitely doable without like uh I am doing uh Bard’s slow right now. So, that’s like a 20% slow. Which is uh you know, going through here. Now, it looks like there’s only these two trash mobs down here uh left. Uh so, we’ll probably have to go kill them real quick. Can do turn undead again. Maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll crit for a thousand just to speed this up. But uh who knows. Oh, there’s a 550 crit. Not too bad. But overall, right? Like this this is a very consistent build, which I think is what I really like about it is uh leveling felt fine. And I had leveled I had leveled uh each of these classes individually, right? Like I had done uh I think Bard was in my first first loadout to fit uh to to uh 50. Then I leveled up uh warrior and then I leveled up cleric all individually so I could get more AAs. And so, I’m kind of excited to see how it levels all three of them. Sorry about that. Uh all three of them together at once. Definitely feel like uh I should be able to do what I what I do. >> [laughter] >> I mean, my plan is to go to the Fallen and you know, get uh the Baron’s blade uh and probably the dagger, right? Like or something else. Uh I don’t think I have it on me, but the uh he There’s a dagger down there, too, right? And just hang out in there, and that to like plus three maybe maybe plus four and then just that should put us around 25 to 30 and then straight to Guk to 40 and then whole 40 to 46 and then eight for all the armor. Then we can get an eight at 46. And then do the same thing in fear. Uh solo fear should be easier than uh open world fear. So theoretically uh we shouldn’t have any problem there. And then uh once we’re once we’re done with uh fear go to sky and just farm up the warrior stuff in sky. There’s like a good warrior weapon uh belt and stuff. We know just max our stuff out there as much as we possibly can. And then uh probably start leveling up alts uh just for more AAs, right? Like so we’d we’d go uh warrior cleric and then throw in like monk, berserker and just cycle through everything with the warrior and cleric so I don’t have to change my gear at [laughter] all. Uh and uh I think it’ll work. I think that’s that’s like my plan, but I’m I’m going to think on it a little bit more. Uh there’s still like I think two or three more patches before this beta ends and then that’s kind of what I’m going to kind of make my my final decision. But after spending like four days maybe five days working on shadow knight necro shaman uh I feel like it’s it’s it the the shaman needs more healing. Like like the heal over time needs way more healing. Uh the pointless nerf they did to the crit heal so like they they nerfed it so that when you crit when you’re you life taps can’t crit heal, right? Like you the the healing I’m getting, right? Um with a necromancer, when you life tap, you get a heal like this, right? And then it it has it had a chance to crit if you had the crit AAs. And they nerfed that for some reason. And I feel like that was kind of a cool interaction you can have by taking a healing class like a shaman. Um boosting the shaman’s viability by going with a necro for double dot damage, right? Um but yeah, I don’t know. I don’t know. I’m I’m just flabbergasted at some of the choices that they’ve done. But, you know, it it is what it is. Oh, a critical flurry. 166, you don’t see those very often. Uh you don’t even see flurries very often, in all honesty. Uh I feel like they’re probably bugged. Uh I have them marked as yellow. So, they’re pretty rare. Finishing blow. Oh, look at those finishing blows. 563, 10. Yeah, we’re getting some real damage here in the finishing blow category. Uh did I finish that AA? I did. So, yeah, that’s 300% extra damage when you crit at these uh lower levels. Oh, yeah, 475. Definitely pretty nice. Now, there’s there’s a thing I was doing in uh when I was leveling is I would stay under 40% health where I’d stay in uh >> [laughter] >> berserker frenzy and it seemed like I was getting way more damage out of it. Uh but it’s it’s damn near impossible to stay that that low. And stuff. All right, we got a bone raiser, which is junk. Let’s go over here and kill these two uh two mobs, and we’ll kill Kaz’ik, and then uh that’s that. We’ll look at take a look at the uh DPS. >> [laughter] >> Let’s see uh how that goes. Let’s see, where are they at? I just don’t want to have like two ads while I’m fighting Kazzak. Now, I don’t think they will add, but uh you never know what’s going to happen. I did promise renewal, right? Like So, wait, where is it? I thought I hit it before we was started running. There we go. Perfect. Now, this this should be a hard fight for me. Like, in all honesty, like with my current gear and my current uh stuff, I feel like this is going to be a challenging fight. Uh but uh we’ll definitely see how how challenging it is. As we uh start this here in just a second. Um And like, if you think I’m going to die, uh post in the comments that uh I think you’re going to die. If you think I’m going to live, think you’ll you’re you’re you’re going to make it, right? Let’s uh let’s see what you guys think. Uh and see what we got. We have uh Larian release bracers. I think that is actually it completes my set of that armor. Uh that is pretty good. All right, let’s get that going. Let’s get Ward of the Divine back on. Which is already on. I have no idea what this missing buff is. I think it was Ward of the Divine, it just got shifted down. All right. Uh where is Where is fatty here? Is that him? There he is. Oh god, he’s got blood fire. All right, so that’s just extra damage we got to take. So, we got that. We’re going to go like this. I’m going to just start casting on him. And I’m going to get the score. Now, I don’t have to pay attention to the Oh my god, never mind. Uh I don’t have to pay attention to the uh the spell because they they made it so that the spells are not uh terrible anymore. So, that is good. Uh he’s a necro sha- a shadow knight necro berserker. Oh my god, this guy is going to screw me over. Hopefully we can drain him out of mana pretty quick. Uh, or he runs out of mana, right? I don’t have the drain on him right now. But, uh, hopefully Go. I wish I could tell if overchannel was causing PR to cost more mana. I wish I could really tell that. But, uh I, uh, I have no idea no idea how to check that right now. All right, two All right, we’re doing okay. We’re doing okay. Now, I have divine aura, so if we get to a point where we think we’re going to die, we’re going to divine aura. >> [laughter] >> And wait a minute. Because, uh That’ll that’ll help us not die. And he is blinking our, uh our casting, so Uh, 63, I think that’s probably the you know, try to complete deal at 60% is probably smart right now. Now, he’s not undead, unfortunately, so we can’t land uh that on there. That’s about all we got. Go. So, I have This is difficulty three. So, just, uh, just a reminder there. And, uh, we’re using overchannel to land our dots, which seems to be landing most our dots. Like, I guess there’s some that are getting resisted. Uh, I don’t use Q melody anymore. Oh, there’s a flurry for 89. Uh, I don’t use Q melody anymore. I use just normal melody because when they get resisted, they uh they they uh get annoying. So, looks like he’s resisting cold, it feels like, but uh I’m not 100% sure. We’re about 65. I’m going to go to 55 this time. I think we can handle it. Uh, we do have a uh bard slow. There we go, 55. Jeez. 65 to 55. Um There we go. That should land, perfect. I We’re kind of lucky that he’s a berserker, right? That’s like a a uh It’s a weak It’s a weak multi class for NPCs, right? And the spell damage seems to be more the uh concern with uh spell casters. And he seems to just seem to be casting that exact same spell over and over again, so that’s even better. It would insidious retrogradation, whatever that is, which I don’t think is landing on me, so it’s breaking him. Which is uh fantastic. >> [laughter] >> Fantastic, indeed. And he’s going to root me, and then he’s going to knock me in the air. And There we go. All right, 61%. I feel like we’re doing good. We’re at We’re still at like 72% mana, so I think we can we can take him the whole way, right? We can take him downtown. Everything’s looking good. See if I can just There we go. Ooh. I feel like something happened there and I took way more damage than I was expecting or I just totally zoned out for a second. Let’s rampage just for the extra little bit of damage. Oh god, that I was a little worried there, but uh you know, somehow it worked. Maybe the AoE is doing uh See here. There we go. Insidious reg- interrogation did 500 points of damage. Whatever the hell that was. Um Avatar power does 92. So, only whatever What is Insidious reg- interrogation? Wow, was that a spell that we get? >> [laughter] >> What class gets that spell? Uh it’s like a interesting one there. Maybe it’s just his his spell. There we go. Perfect. >> Did I land that? Perfect. >> [laughter] >> I wasn’t sure. Like he he does that knockback. You don’t know if it lands or not. I I’m going to definitely try to set up some EQ log parser stuff for this. Uh hopefully they do like an update for Legends and then have like a promised renewal kind of thing right where I can I can put a uh you know, some bars, you know, progress bars that show uh the progress and stuff there. There we go. Back into it, please. Thank you. Now, I think I think it would be difficult to do this one in offensive stance for me at this point. I think if I got my like I’ve seen I’ve seen people have like 600 plus AC. So, if I think if I got to that that point, it would definitely be a lot more doable uh to get into that. And I think that’ll be something for us to shoot for for live is to be able to kill these in D4 in like offensive stance. I think that would really be the the play there. Cuz there is, you know, like if we start upgrading this ring here, it’s going to be like 40 AC, I think it plus 10, maybe 50 AC. Which is insane. So, uh obviously after I try I’m making an attempt on D4, like I’m I’m almost certain I can kill D4 at this point. I’m at 50% mana and I’m not dead yet. Um I definitely think we could uh do D4 of Kazakus. So, So, going to be that is going to be the next video. Hopefully, it’s not too much more damage than what it is right now. Uh but, we’ll take a look at the parsing of this uh before we end this video because this one uh I’m not 100% sure. I think my slashing and my melee is going to be most of my damage compared to my dots. It’s just my feeling right now, but it’s definitely hard to say. Uh it does look like he’s like permanently slowed 20% by the bard song as as much as I’m playing it. So, that that is very beneficial to us. But, uh I mean, he’s at 7%. I have 37% health left. So, I mean, 30% 37% mana left. So, definitely pretty nice, I think. Feels right with all Well, the vine is still up, so we’re still proccing those. And you can see how much damage that’s doing. I I I’m almost certain that is going to be a good chunk of uh damage now. It’s almost making me think warrior cleric shaman might actually be pretty strong. Uh I I don’t think I’ve seen anybody talk about that build, but that might be really good. All right, so what do we get? We got a soul leech, a blood fire, and two AONs. Perfect. Excellent. So, let’s uh let’s take a look at the logs real quick. I I should probably take screenshots of these things when I kill them. All right, let’s go. Here, Kazig the old 69,000 hit points or 68.8. Uh we did 124 DPS. Now, this is obviously the EQ log parser doesn’t isn’t 100% accurate for legends. But, uh we’ll see. Wow, my dots were 40% of my damage. Uh totaling 28,000 damage. The proc The proc that one proc from Word of the Divine 20% of my damage. And my piercing uh for my main hand is 21% of my damage and my off hand, which is a slasher, is only 8% of my damage. Uh that is definitely very telling there. That means I can probably put a shield on it and I’m not really losing much. Uh if I really needed it. If I needed a shield to turtle up, I wouldn’t be losing too much damage. Now, uh I would lose I wouldn’t be able to cleave. Uh I mean, I wouldn’t be able to bash because I would be cleaving and those are on the same timer. So, that is interesting. But, the highest damage dot was the slow dot. So, that is That is really nice. And Disruptive Discord that’s seven and then the other ones just, you know, doing what they can. And then my off hand proc was 1.5% of my damage. Not too bad, right? And if we look at the tanking summary, right? He dealt uh 50 50,000 damage. We healed 46,000 damage. Uh he had about 90 DPS. So, his max hit was 900, whatever that was. And >> [laughter] >> uh his percent chance was about 49%. So, that’s not bad healing. Uh I overhealed myself by 33%. My potential heal was 79 uh 79,000. I only healed for 46. My max heal was 48 100, right? So, I can do 6300 with Promised Renewal. Uh the most I ever healed was 4800, right? That’s what that means. That crazy. Um So, I was over healing quite a bit, but I feel like if I went a little lower, I mean maybe if I waited till like 50% uh that might be better, but uh uh definitely uh definitely where we are there. Uh but that is difficulty three heroic Thool uh one and done. Uh we’re going to do difficulty four in the next video. Hopefully uh you enjoy. Thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic day.
