Lady Vox - WAR / ENC / CLR - d4 - solo
Lady Vox at difficulty four with Warrior, Enchanter and Cleric, a build I called boring right before parsing it at 217 DPS. A charmed priest does 18,000 of the 78,000, the build cannot realistically die, and I still think the Enchanter is a leveling class more than a boss class.
Lady Vox at difficulty four with Warrior, Enchanter and Cleric, filmed the same day as the Innoruuk run and for the same reason: the crystal. I open by saying this build is not exciting and that I nearly fell asleep on Innoruuk, and the parse backs the honest version of that. It averages 217 DPS, it takes 25,000 damage over the fight against 17,000 healed, and between the area mez, the charm and a Cleric that is also the tank, there is very little here that kills you.
The Setup
Buffed before the door, then a short list of things to cast.
- Every self buff is up before I go in. Promised RenewalEverQuest Legends
Promised RenewalCleric 39Imbues your target with life after 18s, healing for 5000.Mana915Cast time1sRecast18.5sDurationup to 18sRange100Resisted byunresistableSkillalteration, Sacred Echo, Discordant Mind, Ward of the Divine, Shiftless Deeds, Allure, Tashani, Mesmerization, Pacify, Augmentation, Clarity and Improved Invisibility are all on the bar for this build. - I was still running a potion's damage shield, which added 2,300 damage over the fight.
- Gear is not special. A handful of plus 10 pieces, among them the Bloodstar PendantEverQuest Legends

This build should be swinging a two-hander and I expect to have a second one soon.
- 7,200 hit points, and I regenerate about 100 a second standing still, so a lot of the healing in the parse is regeneration rather than anything the Cleric did.
The Fight
Charm first, then keep the debuffs rolling.
- Charm the priest with Allure. I layer it and it lands eventually, so expect a couple of attempts rather than one.
- Promised Renewal on myself, then auto attack. I put Tashani and Shiftless Deeds on her and follow with Grasping Embrace.
- Augmentation on the charmed pet, since it is the only accelerator this build has, then Sacred Echo and let it run.
- Four minutes is the benchmark. If she is not dead by then the build is being slow, and she starts healing about a minute in.
- The charm does not need babysitting. I read the caption as it lasting about 21 minutes, and if it does fall off you just cast it again.
- Re-apply what drops. Grasping Embrace fell off once and Gardevoir, as the captions render it, wore off now and then, so I kept refreshing both.
What the Parse Says
Quiet numbers, and a surprise from the shield.
- 217 DPS average, with a few visible spikes that I put down to the big critical hits. 184 early, 213 partway through.
- Main hand crushing did 70 DPS for about 20,000 damage, against 46 DPS from the off hand slashing, so the weapon type shows up immediately.
- Shield bash did 4,500 at a 15% crit rate, which is a lot for something I do not think about.
- Chopping blow is weak when dual wielding. Next to what the knights get it is a little sad, but it is a free auto attack so I do not care.
- Divine Fury is third on the damage list, about 270 a proc and 3,621 in total. With the damage over time up the whole fight it would have been closer to 4,600, and I did not have full uptime.
- Grasping Embrace ticks for 91 every six seconds. Ward of the Divine's parry out damages it, so the dot is only free extra damage.
- Crit rates: 12% melee, 16% spells, 20% on the dot. The dot figure makes no sense for how weak that dot is, so there is a modifier in there I have not found.
Damage Taken and Healing
The tank has the easy job here.
- She hit me 63% of the time and missed 27%, while I landed 71% with a 22% miss and a 2% block, 1.8% parry and 1.7% dodge.
- Most incoming damage was her bites. The area damage did very little, and the other periodic effects barely register.
- Lord Commander's Blessing is a reverse damage shield, so every hit I take heals me. It gave 2,700.
- The werewolf form added 480, which is not much, and I cast Promised Renewal twice, which did little as well.
- Sacred Echo is a large part of the real healing, more than the plain heal that Promised Renewal used to be.
- I do not wear resistance gear. The resist stats in this game are not worth it to me over armour class, and the nearer to 600 the better.
The Pet Problem
72 DPS from a charm.
- The priest did 18,000 and I did 62,000, by my reading of the parser, which is about what 72 DPS over this fight looks like.
- He kept his own steel weapon and ignored a plus 10 fungal weapon I handed him, which is a ridiculous thing for a charmed pet to do. He also wears a Dark Brew mask at five and a Belt of the Four WindsEverQuest Legends
Belt of the Four WindsLORE EQUIPPED NO TRADESlotWAISTAC5STR+12STA+12AGI+6DEX+6Magic+5Haste+41%Weight2SizeMEDIUMClass: WARRace: ALL. - Charm pets do not seem to pick up the best weapon, so do not count on gear to improve the 72.
- Take the Enchanter out for a Monk, Rogue or Berserker and I think the damage triples without any effort, which is the part of this build that bothers me.
- Enchanted pets are not what I want in a boss fight, because they do not do much. The caster slot is a leveling class to me.
Where This Build Fits
Safe, slow, and good for grinding.
- You will not die. That is the case for it, and it is a real one at difficulty four.
- It is excellent for leveling, because area mez and an Enchanter solve most of what makes grinding hard.
- The fight is slow rather than hard. Nothing here kills her in two minutes, so it is a matter of watching damage tick up while she starts to heal.
- A two-hander is the right weapon, and the dual wield numbers above would improve with one.
- The parser is my own, and I have not shared it because it also tracks resource gathering, quests and the screenshots for my item database, and stripping those out is more work than I want.

Hello and welcome to EverQuest Legends. Today we will play as a warrior, cleric, and enchanter against Lady Vox on difficulty level four. Let’s go inside quickly. I’m completely buffed. You know, let’s talk about this for a second. Let’s discuss the spell while I take the potion. I use Promise Renewal, Sacred Echo, Discordant Mind, Ward of the Divine, Shiftless Deeds, Allure, Tashani, Mesmerization, Pacify, Augmentation, Clarity, er, Improved Invisibility. It could be a runny nose or something else. Depends on what I was doing. I just fought Inoruuk. Guard of Ay and Grasping Embrace. So, let’s quickly update a few more buffs and we’ll go there. This build isn’t very exciting. He is not exciting at all . In fact, I almost fell asleep fighting Inoruuk. I already made a video about this. Just did it again today to get my crystal. But, of course, this can get boring. You could die of boredom playing this build. So, we’ll just run in there and do it right, right? We will target the priest, ignoring her. I’ll put Tash on it. And I’ll layer Allure. It will work eventually. OK. I will cast Promise Renewal on myself. And then I’ll come over here. I’ll start auto-attacking her. I’ll put Tashani on it. I’ll use Shiftless Deeds on it. Then I’ll use Grasping Embrace. And she is ready. Everything is set. I will aim at the giant again. I’ll put Augmentation on it . Since this is the only accelerator I have . Okay, here it is. Now I will use Sacred Echo. And we’re just going to let it happen, right? Almost everything is ready. If we don’t kill her in 4 minutes, then we’re slow. That’s pretty much how this fight works. Not so bad. The giant has to stay under the spell the whole time, right? This lasts about 21 minutes. It doesn’t just dissipate. You shouldn’t have any problems with this , but if you do—just cast the spell again. But I mean, you won’t have any problems. As for gear, while we’re at it : I have Diamond ID Rig seven, Blood of Blood Star pendant 10, Dark Brew mask 10, Skill Shape Barbooch five, Earring of Bashing six, Earring of Pure Blood six, Horof’s Bracer six, Indicolite Brace Arms six, and Gauntlets six. Actually, there should be ” Slime blood” gloves there. I don’t know exactly what happened to my gear set, but it doesn’t matter. Warrior Bracers six, Engineer Bracers six, Cleric Star five, Dugass 10, well, nothing special. Cloak of flames 10, Indicolite brace 10, or, actually, seven. The monk’s bridle is three. So nothing too special, right? A few plus 10 items. It seems like most of my plus 10 bonuses are currently concentrated in the monk’s belt. I just spent a little more time on it. That’s all. Okay, now it’s just a matter of beating her while the pet deals damage. Honestly, the pet only deals 72 DPS, which is pretty bad. We’re giving out 184. Maybe we’d get a little more DPS if we used a two-handed weapon, but the pet has my “fungal” plus 10. Exactly. I don’t know if you see it on him. Look, no, he has a mace. He probably didn’t even pick it up , because who knows. But you see, the pet ” Dark brew” has five and a belt ” belt of four winds”, so I did n’t even see the message about the pet. Yes, he preferred his high-quality steel weapon over the “fungal” 10. That’s ridiculous. Well, here we are. Okay, let’s begin. Gardevoir reduces damage a bit, so we’ll apply that again. It disappears from time to time . Just support him. You see, “grasping embrace” is gone. We are not a class with DOT spells. We do n’t really have any particular advantages from DOT. It’s just a shame. This is just additional free damage we can get. And how much is that? 91 units of damage per tick, so every 6 seconds we deal 91 units of damage. Ward of the divine parry is more damage than that . Truth? You see, she is almost dead. Of course, this is not a difficult fight. Do you see what we are doing here? 213 DPS is what we have now. Not so bad. Not bad, considering it’s a build you’re unlikely to die with. I mean, this is n’t a case where you go in and kill Lady Vox in 2 minutes , right? This, you know, will take a few seconds. She will start healing in a minute . It may take a little more time. But this is not a bad build at all. We’ll deal with this once we kill her, we’ll review all the damage, how much I healed and all that . Let’s see if I can use ” rampage” on it again. Didn’t do enough. You see for yourself. I would say that for me, the spellcaster is more of a class for leveling up than for boss battles. Personally, I don’t like enchanted pets in these kinds of battles because they don’t really do much. If I removed the caster and took, say, a monk, rogue, or berserker, I would triple my DPS. Yes, without any effort, right? Okay, so we got nothing except a magic particle that will be needed later. Okay, let’s open my log analyzers. Lady Vox. Let’s do this full screen. Let’s remove the overlay. Now, as I get asked in almost every video, this is my own custom log parser. I coded it myself. I haven’t shared it yet because there’s other stuff in there, you know? I keep track of resource gathering, quests, well, I do a lot of things, right? And there really is a lot here. I also track screenshots for my item database that I maintain. And that makes it a little difficult to spread to the masses. I would have to block this feature to prevent it from spreading. Because I would just be inundated with garbage that I don’t want to look at. But here we are. Average DPS 217 for the entire battle. See these little peaks here? We had several such surges. I guess these are the moments when we landed critical hits, well, big critical hits, right ? So we dealt 62,000 damage, and a total of 78,000 to the enemy. That means the priest dealt 18,000. I dealt 62 , so that gives us the total number. She was also receiving treatment, so there was some healing there. Well , let’s see . We healed 17,000 damage to ourselves and took 25,000 damage. Now, as a warrior, we have, uh, well, what are my health points? I have 7200 health points. So I get, uh, what regeneration do I have now? 173. Well, you know, no, it’s attack speed. Where is it? Health regeneration. I gain 100 health points per second just by standing here. So, uh, a lot of my healing just doesn’t count because I get a lot of healing from regeneration. OK. So, we got through it. Now, crit, uh, we had 12% crit chance in melee, 16% with spells, 20% crit chance from damage over time , which makes no sense at all . Well, although it was a crappy periodic damage, so there’s some kind of, uh, modifier in effect. This is, uh, great for that wizard spell . Well, it’s definitely interesting, uh, there. Now, we had, uh, we had a damage shield, uh, from the potion, but that’s probably, uh, how much? Well, 2300 damage in total. So we had a 71% hit chance, a 22 % miss chance, uh, we were blocked 2%, parried 1.8, and dodged 1.7, right? And then we, uh, see, they had, Lady Vash had a 63% chance of hitting us, right? We missed 27% and so on. So, not so bad, right? Not so bad. Uh, someone said there ‘s a fixed 20% chance, you know, that the mob will hit, but, uh, I, I don’t really believe that. Um, come on here. You see, we kept the jerk going the whole time , bait until we killed it, and slow down the whole time. Well, maybe it disappeared right at the end. Well, so we did pretty well. You see the Lord Commander’s Blessing, right? If we move on to healing, uh, where is it here? What, what, did I not highlight this separately? I don’t think I did it. Maybe it’s lower. Yes, I didn’t break it down by spell. Oh, no, there it is, right here. Me, I’m blind. The Lord Commander’s Blessing is a reverse damage shield. So every time we are beaten, we receive healing. And , uh, we got 2700 healing from that, right? And then we have the life-extraction blow, it’s 400, what the hell? Oh, that’s it, that’s the werewolf form. So, we got 480 cures from the werewolf. Well, that’s not very helpful. And we also made, I think, two vow renewals, which didn’t do much . This is not such a good treatment anymore. Especially because it is not an improvement, but a sacred renewal, our sacred echo— it is a big part of our healing. Okay, in terms of damage, what’s the most important thing here? Our main hand crushing blows, 70 DPS, 20k damage. Our left- handed slashing strikes, 46 DPS. Different weapons, different types. The difference is visible immediately, quite easily. 32% chance of being hit with the main hand, 40% with the left. A shield strike that surprisingly dealt 4500 damage, 15% critical chance . Kick and chopping blow. The chopping blow is significantly inferior when using two weapons. This is honestly sad compared to the knights’ abilities, but hey, it’s a free autoattack, who cares? 6% chance on both of these hits. So, magic damage, divine fury defense is almost third in damage, right? Yes, the third largest damage. So , every time we get hit, we have a chance to activate about 270 damage, up to a total of 3621. So not bad. If we kept the damage over time effect on all the time, then 4600 is pretty good. We didn’t have 100% uptime for this effect. So, you know, we have what we have. Inflammation, I have no idea where I have inflammation on my equipment. Oh, my left arm is inflamed instead of boiling blood, that’s how I keep track of my gear. My left hand should have the bloodfire effect , but I change gear sets so often that they don’t save. I don’t know. Incoming damage, most of it we got from bites, right? And the AoE did a little damage, but not that much. And some other periodic effects, etc. So none of this matters. They are all insignificant. So, you know, a close combat show. High level, you know, armor will be better, right? I don’t pick up resistance equipment at all. I think the props in this game are really worthless. I haven’t seen any case where increasing these metrics was better than increasing AC. Uh, the closer you are to 600, the better for you. Of course, there are moments that can be optimized, but I’m just lazy. But, uh, you know, this is definitely the direction you should be heading. So, this is Lady Vox of the fourth difficulty . Not so bad. Uh, you know, warrior, cleric, enchanter. Uh, you’re not going to die. Let ‘s just say that, and we’ll stop there. You will not die. You know, you’ll have a good time. Uh, pumping this build is great because you have AoE Mez and, you know, an enchanter. So you won’t have any problems with pumping. You will be swinging with a two-handed weapon with this build, rather than two one-handed ones. I only use two one-handed ones because I gave my two-handed one away . I don’t have a second one like this yet , but I will soon. Uh, I think I’m, I think I’m close. Let’s take a look. I ca n’t even see him. Maybe he’s at the bank? Oh, there’s one right here. I have another one, but I don’t know where it is. But, that’s all. Uh, fourth difficulty, Lady Vox . Thank you very much for watching and have a fantastic day.

Master Yael - WAR / ENC / CLR - d4 solo
Master Yael at difficulty four with Warrior, Enchanter and Cleric, a fight I called easy before parsing it at 238 DPS. The level 43 pet does about 19,000 of it, the Beastlord AI slows and plagues me the whole way, and the build needed two Sacred Echoes and never touched Promised Renewal.
Lord Nagafen - WAR / ENC / CLR - d4 - solo
Lord Nagafen at difficulty four with Warrior, Enchanter and Cleric, the fight I expected to be easy and parsed at 233 DPS, about 15 above Lady Vox. A charmed pet adds the rest, I finish with plenty of mana, and I say outright that I am about done with the Enchanter outside of leveling.
Master Yael - WAR / BRD / SHM - d4 solo
Master Yael at difficulty four on Warrior, Bard and Shaman, run entirely in offensive and Empower. Envenomed Bolt alone is 36% of the damage, and the bard songs quietly hand over 6,000 more for no mana and no attention.
