September 2026 Everquest Producer's Letter
The September 2026 EverQuest producer's letter, read through. A bazaar character for progression servers, quality of life fixes, the Extra Life drive in November, the Favors of Fortune expansion with beta and pre-orders opening October 6th, and character transfer between accounts, which is the part I have waited longest for.
The EverQuest producer's letter dated September 26, 2026, which I read on the day it came out. I started out skeptical and ended up pleased. There is a run of quality of life work, the Extra Life drive is coming back with its bonuses, and the 2026 expansion, Favors of Fortune, opens its pre-orders and beta on October 6th. The line that got me most excited is character transfer between accounts, since I have about 25 accounts and have narrowed them down to three.
Summer Quality of Life
The first half of the letter, and I skipped some of it.
- The Hero's Journey quests were updated to be friendlier for players on the Luclin servers and others, taking progression server players into account.
- A new character sends you to the bazaar even before Luclin opens. That makes trading on the progression servers much better, and I called it fantastic.
- The resource hunter system got changes, going by how I read the captions, and there were the usual monthly class adjustments.
- The marketplace search box was updated. I would love to see the market cap rise from 2 million to something like 100 million, but that is a wish and not in the letter.
- A new filter was added to the interface, which the captions render as filtering by extension. I read that as expansion. It matters to me because finding a weapon means searching by type and sorting by ratio, and it is still unclear where it came from.
- Helmet and cloak display on the models was fixed. EverQuest Legends has customized mantles for almost every classic model, and I hope that gets ported over.
Extra Life
Back again, with bonuses if the goal is met.
- The goal is 115,000. If it is reached, the bonuses include 200% more experience and more rare enemy appearances, as I heard it.
- The team streams on November 7th. I do not follow Twitch, so I find it hard to stay informed, but other content creators seem to be running something like a stream marathon.
- Group rewards run from November 10th to 17th, seven days of them.
- The rewards shown include a butterfly item, a blue beanie, a blue dog with a saddle and a golden beanie. The exact names were not clear to me, and fundraisers who join the team and donate are eligible.
- I gave a lot last year, and I am not sure I can do the same this year. I will still donate what I can.
- The Autumn Festival and the Festival of Shadows are running now.
Favors of Fortune
The 2026 expansion, and a quick look at what was shown.
- The beta is coming soon, and I will join when I get access. I tend not to go deep, since I burned out on the EverQuest Legends beta after two or three months of all day play.
- The theme is luck gone wrong. The letter says the fabric of luck is poisoned and leaning toward failure, and that while the gods are distracted, the influence of a villain the captions spell Skorn grows. The god names are garbled in the captions, so I would not quote the spellings.
- A goddess of love looks to be in trouble, and the art has a love theme, including black cats. Cats have been scattered through the last few expansions and I do not know what they mean.
- That villain is back, by the captions, and the story explores the lower planes. I once had a guild member with a similar name, which is why it stood out. The spelling is unreliable.
- Pre-orders and the beta begin on October 6th at 10:00 AM. That is next Tuesday, the way I read it, and pre-orders usually come with bags and other accessories.
Account Transfer and Bags
The part I saved for last on purpose.
- Character transfer between accounts is planned. I could move a character from account A to account B, which I have wanted for a long time.
- My plan is to move a character off an account I no longer play onto the account I use now, so I do not have to level a completely new character on the server I play on. I would be first in line.
- Multiple selection in your bags is being worked on. Shift click, I assume, to highlight several items at once.
- Several parcels can be sent at the same time. I send a lot between characters, collecting collectibles across multiple windows and then sending them on to the guild bank or the auction.
- It is a long list of quality of life work for a game this old, and my view is that an old game needs exactly that.
The Short Version
- The letter is dated September 26, 2026. It was released September 29th.
- A bazaar character is coming to progression servers, reachable before Luclin opens.
- Extra Life has a 115,000 goal, a stream on November 7th and group rewards from November 10th to 17th.
- Favors of Fortune pre-orders and beta start October 6th at 10:00 AM.
- Character transfer between accounts is planned, along with multi-select in bags and multiple parcels at once.

Congratulations on the EverQuest producer’s letter dated September 26, 2026. Wow, I can’t even speak . So, they just released this on September 29th, which I believe was today . I’m right on schedule. Okay, there’s a lot here , and I was a little skeptical at first, but then I saw some really interesting points. So let’s begin . It’s been a busy summer at the studio as we continue to work to bring you great updates to improve your quality of life over the past few months. I’ll just skip some points, but they’ve been working on updating all of the Hero’s Journey quests to make them more user-friendly for players on Luclin servers and others. This is good . So they took into account players on progression servers. They added a character that will send you to the bazaar even before Luclin opens. This is incredible. This makes trading on TLP much better. This is just fantastic. They made changes to the resource hunter system and so on. They also conducted many classroom adjustments. You’ve seen this over the last few months, because we do it every month, right? That’s pretty good. They update the search box in the marketplace. Maybe they will increase the market cap from 2 million, say, to 100 million. It would be nice. It would really be nice. The developers also fixed some interface issues. They’re adding a filter by extension, which is actually really handy, because if I’m looking for a weapon, I have to search by type, then sort by ratio, and it’s still unclear where it came from. So it’s cool that they have this data, and they also fixed the display of helmets and cloaks on the models. If you follow EverQuest Legends, you know that they have customized mantles for almost every classic model. I hope they port this to EverQuest, it would be great. Meanwhile, the Extra Life campaign has already begun. Last year we made a big contribution to Extra Life. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it this year, because I just can’t hold back right now . I just can’t do it. Well, you know, I’ll still donate what I can, but I need to…I live in a third world country. The internet here is terrible, but I hope they reach their goal of 115,000. There are bonuses there, if you don’t know about them, like… Here, let’s get started. So if they get a bonus of 115,000, right? You will get 200% more experience, more rare enemy appearances, everything will be much better. This is a great time to play, they will be hosting their streams on November 7th. They’ll gather everything, I think other content creators are having a stream marathon, if you can say so. So they will do something there . I know you should keep an eye on this. I don’t follow any things on Twitch. So it’s hard for me to stay informed. But they will enable group rewards from November 10th to 17th . So, you get 7 days of great stuff. There are certain awards there. You can get this thing with a butterfly. Yes, it’s a butterfly. You get this blue beanie hat. You get a blue dog with a saddle. Also, look what’s here? What is this? This is what you get. So if you’re a fundraiser and you joined the team, you made a donation, you know? You can do it this way. Here’s another one. Golden beanie and the like. We did this last year and stuff like that. We got something. So be sure to check it out if you’re interested. If you would like to make a donation, feel free to register and join Extra Life. Let ‘s take a look here. The Autumn Festival and the Festival of Shadows are currently underway. That’s pretty good. So , we’re going to talk about the 2026 expansion, right? It’s called “Favors of Fortune.” The beta version will be released soon. I’ll be able to join the beta as soon as I get access. I’ll show you a few areas and stuff. I usually don’t get too deep into it . I know some people spend a whole month before release on beta tests, but I just burned out on the Everquest Legends beta test. I did this for two or three months straight, uh , all day long, and it, it really killed my desire to play. And you know, with other games that are coming out in beta right now, I just go in, take a quick look—and I go out, because there’s, there’s, you know, a chance of burning out. But it looks like Aerolis Marr, the, uh, goddess of love, uh , is going to have some problems. Scornd is back, by the way, I had a guy named Scornd in one of my guilds , so it’s pretty funny. Uh, but like, you know, they explore the lower planes, so let’s take a look. I tried to quickly find the main points. So, we feel that the very fabric of luck is poisoned and leaning towards failure. Uh, you see, while the gods are distracted, Skorn’s influence grows, and the path ahead grows darker with every hour . Well, that sounds interesting. You can see here, maybe it’s Aerolisi Marr. I don’t know. Uh, you can see the love theme here. Some black cats. Uh, if you’ve been paying attention to the last few additions, cats are scattered everywhere. I don’t know. I don’t know what their meaning is. Or whatever it is , but here’s another building in the style of love. Well, it’s actually quite cute, but I missed something. And I did it on purpose because I wanted to leave it for last. So, this is where they are going to implement character transfer between accounts. That is, I will be able to transfer my character from account A to account B. Oh my god, I’ve been waiting for this for a long time . I have about 25 accounts. And over the years I’ve played on different accounts. I, you know, every time I started a new series, I created a new account, added a character to it , right? Uh, and I’ve narrowed them down to three. And I would like to be able to take my character, like Vaxol, from one of the accounts I no longer play on and transfer it to the Gnome Regard account. Now Waxol is on Drinal, so he would be, you know , there. So, I won’t have to level up a completely new character on Drinal. So, this, uh, this is just fantastic. I, I’ll be , I’ll be first in line to, uh, sign up and transfer the character. Uh, then maybe I can, you know, come in every now and then, and, you know, maybe play with Blarp and friends over there on Drinal. But, since I, since I literally canceled almost all of my accounts except , uh, my warrior, there’s really nothing to do except, uh, level up someone else. And this, uh, you know, is kind of a thing. Uh, let’s see. We’ve also been working on implementing multiple selection in your bag at once so you can highlight them, so you can, like, uh, Shift-click, I guess , select multiple things, which is pretty cool. Uh, and also several parcels at the same time. This is it, this is where it is, this is just fantastic. I send so many parcels between characters, don’t I ? For example, collectibles, you know, I started when I was playing with multiple windows, right? I started with the first character, collected all the collectibles, took them all, sent them to the next character , and so on, and so on, and so on, until I went and put them in the guild bank on Drinal or auctioned them off on FV. So, definitely, definitely, there will be some nice quality of life improvements. Uh, you know, I love improving the quality of life. It seems to me that such an old game just needs quality of life improvements, quality of life, quality of life. And I hope, uh, I hope this, uh, will be good. So, transferring between accounts is If this, you know, this sounds just fantastic. I’m definitely going to use this to, you know, get some of my characters in order so I can actually enjoy them , rather than, you know, not be able to play them because I can’t log in . But, here it is. It was a letter from the producer. There’s a lot of good stuff coming up for EverQuest here, uh, at the end of the year. It sounds good, not bad, you know, it sounds really good actually. Good things. I am delighted. So, beta testing will begin on October 6th . This is when pre- orders start. So, pre-orders and the beta will start on October 6th, which is literally like next week. This is so strange. This is so strange. Next week. I think it’s next week. Wait. Yes, next Tuesday. You will be able to place a pre-order and so on. So, here it is . This is fantastic. I did n’t even know. So, pre-order at 10:00 AM. You know, when you pre-order, you can usually get different bags and other, well, all those cool accessories, if you’re into that kind of thing. But that’s great. So, this was a letter from the EverQuest producer for September 2026 . Thank you very much for watching and have a wonderful day.

August 2026 Everquest Test Server Patch Notes
Resource Hunter gets the longest section, but the change that matters most is the Cleric epic 1.0: Shmendrik Lavawalker's respawn comes down and the chain loot locks to whoever did the turn in, which closes the multi-quest that handed the epic to people who had done none of it.
