How I Play My Level 130 Warrior

A walkthrough of my level 130 Warrior, the one-button multibind, the full aggro stack, the defensive ladder anchored by Flash of Anger, the Warlords recovery kit, the three-stage burn, the always-on buffs, and the heroic-agility gear targets that make the warrior the best tank (and arguably the best tank-DPS) in EverQuest.

January 26, 2026

The level 130 Warrior is the strongest tank in EverQuest and, once the multibind is live, the highest-DPS tank too. Almost every warrior-only ability rides on the 4 key. Between Paradoxical Expanse generating AoE hate on every incoming heal, Cyclone Blades XIV pulsing AoE aggro and damage on cooldown, and Flash of Anger erasing all incoming melee damage for the moments it matters, the kit does the work for you. This guide covers the full multibind, the defensive ladder, the Warlords recovery kit, the three-stage burn, the always-on buffs, and the heroic-agility gear path.

Session Overview

How the warrior is wired at 130.

  • Role: Main tank and top-tier group DPS tank. Kit does more damage than a paladin, likely more than a shadow knight.
  • Multibind layout: 4 fires warrior-only abilities, 5 fires everything on the rest of the team. Pressing 4 never pulls the group into action.
  • Targeting: /xtarget 19 for the main assist, no /assist used on any character.
  • Auto-skill: Kick. Bash and Slam are not auto-skilled, Knee Strike XVI triggers the kick proc for its damage, snare, and avoidance debuff.
  • Scope: Anything with reuse ≤10 minutes lives in the multibind. Flash of Anger and the long-cooldown defensives sit on their own bar.

Utility Line (still on 4)

Housekeeping before the hate stack starts.

  • Hide corpses / Forage / Auto inventory: One button cleans the floor, picks up food, bags loot.
  • Attack on, pet attack, pet swarm, /stand: Same line on 4 and 5. Turns attack on, fires any pet/swarm pet, and pops the character back up from feigns and AoE knockdowns.
  • Stand: Gets spammed safely, it only fires when seated, so you don't accidentally sit mid-fight.

Aggro Multibind, Single Target

Every hate tool fires on cooldown. Only Blast of Anger is held back.

  • Taunt: Level 1 ability. Mechanically sets hate to group-leader +1. Modified by Sneering Grin AA (90% chance to proc +30,000 hate) and Biting Tongue Strike from the discipline below.
  • Disarm: Kept in the bind primarily as a range indicator, the chat-window feedback tells me when I'm in melee range before the other abilities do.
  • Provoke 19 (Timer 9): 38,000 hate, recourse reduces incoming damage on me.
  • Bazu Roar: 29,000 hate + 23,000 additional every 6 seconds.
  • Biting Tongue Discipline: Makes taunt also trigger Biting Tongue Strike, 4,600 damage, 5,959 hate, for its duration.
  • Harassing Shout: 38,000 hate, −33% target dodge for 1 minute. 2-minute reuse, fires on cooldown.
  • Gut Punch: Aggro + −50% target accuracy + −52 AC. 20-second reuse, effectively a spam button.
  • Knee Strike XVI: 900 damage kick, reduces target avoidance, snares.
  • Call of Challenge: Snare that roots the mob facing you rather than fleeing, safer than a conventional snare when you need to control position.

Held back: Blast of Anger is the only single-target hate tool I keep off the multibind, saved for snap pulls when I need the biggest lever available.

Aggro Multibind, AoE & Damage

The abilities that make warrior tanking feel effortless at 130.

  • Shield Split: Outer Brood synergy ability. 2H slash for ~1,700 damage, doesn't require a 2H equipped, then triggers Meridian's Synergy, a group bracing stance that absorbs up to 69,000 (40% effective) across the group. Every-other-expansion upgrade pattern.
  • Roar of Challenge: Mini AoE taunt on 3 nearby targets + accuracy reduction. 1-minute reuse, 30-second duration. Last seen at level 93, no Timer 14 upgrade yet.
  • Paradoxical Expanse (level 122): Every incoming heal generates AoE hate on every target around you. Genuinely overpowered, single-target aggro becomes automatic because the healer's normal tick is holding the room for you.
  • Cyclone Blades XIV (Timer 10): AoE 1H slash, 30 targets, 340 damage + 4,600 hate each. 45-second reuse. Pair with Warlord's Fury (+3,700 hate on all actions) and you snap to ~100k of burst hate across the pull.
  • War Shield (Heroic Blade VII): Channels Relentless War, three 2H slash attacks for 3,500 / 3,700 / 4,400, and applies Heroic Rage: +50% melee speed, +50% crit damage, +180% crit melee damage.
  • Wade into Conflict: 5-minute reuse. For its duration every incoming strike triggers an AoE taunt, up to 24 times. With the Fix of Fury AA, each of those hits also adds 25,000 hate.
  • Battle Leap XIII: 1-second stun on mobs level ≤133, ~105,000 damage, and it teleports me to the target. Practically free damage, hits crit routinely in the 400k+ range when they chain.
  • Imperator's Command XI (3-minute reuse): Group buff, +40% spell haste, +14% proc rate, +30,000 HP, +40% haste, +57 AC, +800 mana regen, +600 endurance regen. Turns the warrior into a resource battery for the box.
  • Aureate's Bane III (Outer Brood): Cleanses Curse of Subjugation and grants +6% melee damage. Earned via Outer Brood achievements.
  • Wild Magic: Unleash (Shattering of Ro): Random storm-interaction proc, occasional ~40k damage crits and other effects. Free to bind and forget.

Opener math: Warlord's Fury + Cyclone Blades XIV + Rampage → instant AoE hate on everything in a 40-foot radius, five primary-slot hits per target, followed by Roar of Challenge for an AoE taunt chaser.

Defensive Ladder

Off-bind. These are situational, not every pull needs them.

  • Flash of Anger (level 87, Timer 11): Stops all incoming melee damage for ~10 seconds. No upgrade exists, it hasn't needed one. Best defensive ability in the class, bar none. Works against unlimited mobs.
  • Final Stand: 45% melee reduction, absorbs up to ~1M damage. Second-best defensive, fires after Flash to stretch the window.
  • Bracing Defense: +~200–300 AC, long duration. Could realistically be run on near-permanent uptime if you prefer steady mitigation over burst.
  • Abrasive Impact: 22% damage absorption up to ~210,000 or 12 hits. Slot this when Bracing Defense is down.
  • Reciprocal Shield (rank 4, fully quested in Outer Brood): Absorbs 40% of spell damage above 12,000 or melee above 19,000, 30% of DoT damage, +100% hate on actions, +25% max HP. Fades after ~1M damage or 600 strikes.
  • Resplendent Glory: +11–15% incoming-heal effectiveness. Useful when grouping with a less-geared healer.
  • Warrior's Opus: +17,000 hate and a rune that absorbs 80% of damage above 74,000 per hit, up to ~2.9M total. Save for named/raid hits.
  • Armor of Ralosian Runes: General-purpose rune absorb. No current upgrade surfaced.
  • Glyph of Dragon Scales (AA slot): +20% max HP/mana/endurance, +50% mitigation & avoidance, blocks 35% of direct/DoT/melee damage on hits above 7,500. Persists through death. Not yet equipped at 60k AA, saving Glyph of Ultimate Power for the endgame pull scenarios where I'm tanking 20+ mobs.
  • Lionhearted Cry: AoE stun. Targeted, so it stays off the multibind.
  • Fortitude / Furious Discipline: Share the same timer. Breastplate click extends Fortitude, rarely needed in practice.
  • Mark of the Mage Hunter: Slot when spell damage is the problem.
  • Blade Onslaught / Vah Rage: Damage discs. Vah Rage is +15% base damage.

Usage pattern: Flash of Anger fires near-on-cooldown, it's a 6–10 second "you cannot die" window. Final Stand is the sustain layer for longer fights.

Warlords (Recovery Kit)

Post-death toolkit. Pop everything after a battle res.

  • Warlord's Tenacity: +75,000 heal + 80,000 additional HP.
  • Warlord's Resurgence: +80,000 heal, 21 HP regen, 66 endurance regen. Ideal right after a rez.
  • Warlord's Bravery: 15% melee reduction for 105 hits.
  • Warlord's Fury: +hate on all actions, doubles as a pull-opener tool.
  • War Cry: Group fear immunity for 1:42, 14% resist vs silence/amnesia. Charm immunity would make this essential, without it, rarely needed.

Res recovery: Pop Resurgence → Tenacity → Bravery, then jump back into the pull while the HoTs fill the bar back up.

Burn Sequence

Three stacked windows. Cycle through as they expire.

  • Burn 1: Spire of the Warlord, Projection of Fury, Rage of Alisac, breastplate click Roaring Shield (absorbs 40% damage above 12k/hit, ~2.3M total). Bloodbrothers' Coding lives on the bar as a placeholder until I earn it.
  • Burn 2: Vehement Rage VI (+15% damage, −10% incoming heals), Warlord's Fury, Blade Guardian (+90% parry while <40% HP), Warlord's Bravery. Signa of Ganar sits in the slot, still locked behind Plane of War.
  • Burn 3: Intensity of the Resolute, non-stacking damage boost, does not stack with Glyph of Dragon Scales.

Stacking notes: Spire buffs everything, AC, avoidance, damage. Rage Deck lifts proc rate. Projection of Fury summons aggro-swarm pets. Rage trades heal uptake for 15% damage.

Always-On Buffs

Self + group, active at all times.

  • Champion's Aura: Warrior aura.
  • Candle Familiar: Best-available familiar.
  • Violet Conch of the Tempest (Darkened Sea): +AC and a damage-shield click.
  • Field Armorer X: Current-level group AC line. Running at +165 AC group-wide.
  • Commanding Voice: Group dodge buff.

Clickies

Utility slots outside the rotation.

  • Charm: Click on cooldown.
  • Insta-cast illusion: Skeleton, shrinks the ogre hitbox and clears vision.
  • Candle illusion: Bound but rarely used.
  • Quiver: Arrow summon. Upgrade path is the Unified Phoenix Feather from the anniversary event, one page away from finishing the quest.

Gear Targets at 130

Heroic Agility is the priority stat. Replace with the highest-agi option in every slot.

  • Main-hand: Sword Breaker of Unraveling Order (tier 3 crafted, needs the purple Finesse essence).
  • Off-hand: Tier 2 dropped variant of Unraveling Order.
  • Armor: Unraveling Order crafted set plus Uprising tier 3 for whatever isn't finished. Silk is the current bottleneck on the rest.
  • Ring: Fully-geared group version from The Outer Brood (non-raid).
  • Neck: Collars of Legacies Lost (Laurion's Song), one more Slayer achievement away from the final evolve.
  • Mask: Mask of the Vortex (Shattering of Ro), clicks Temperament of the Vortex, a warrior/paladin/SK/bard-only +22% hate effect. Best mask in the game.
  • Breastplate: Unraveling Order crafted, clicks Roaring Shield (see Burn 1).
  • Cloak: Guardian Cloak from Unraveling Order. The Shattering of Ro cloak isn't a stat upgrade without the partisan progression finished.
  • Augments: Type 18s and 19s maxed out. Raid-tier 19s are attainable by running trash on six characters, not yet farmed.
  • Power source: Riven Arcana Slayer Source, in bag, not yet slotted.
  • Trophy: Banner of the Outer Brood (+105 heroic agility). Working on the Shattering of Ro and Laurion's Song collection trophies for two more.
  • Tribute: Bulock of Honor (AC), Dance to the Hero (heroic agility), Eyes of the Hunter (accuracy), Fury of Combat (main-hand/double/triple attacks), Vengeful Aura (+60 attack).

Next upgrade: Buy the chase warrior weapon (tier-1 raid equivalent), move the current main-hand to the off-hand. No planned raid progression on the warrior, so that's the ceiling until the next expansion drops.

Quick Rotation Cheat Sheet

  1. Pre-pull: Champion's Aura, Candle Familiar, Violet Conch click, Field Armorer X, Commanding Voice. Insta-skeleton illusion if you want the smaller hitbox.

Hello and welcome to how I play my level 130 warrior. Today we’re going to talk about my skills, my abilities, how I have all my hot bars set up, uh what gear you should aim for, what buffs you should probably pick up, and everything you need to know to play a warrior at 130 here in EverQuest. So, uh, the way I [sighs] the way I play this character is I use a multi-bind so that I can pretty much hit one button to do most of the work. Now, if you look here, my hot bars, they’re all bound to four and five. So, if I push four or I press five in rapid succession, each of these buttons will get activated in a, you know, pretty much a left to right order, but uh, it just depends. Uh now uh that is that is like the core basis of how I play this character. Now there are things I do not have in this uh thing. There things that usually have a duration greater than or not a duration but a reuse time of greater than say 10 minutes. You know the give or take. All my defensive things are right here in my uh bar and we’ll talk about all those. But uh I just want to kind of clear that you know how that all this is going to work and why they’re all in a bar and they all have the same number. I just want to make sure all that’s clear uh before we go any further. So uh you know as a warrior we don’t have spells. We have lots of disciplines. And we’ll uh let’s let’s hit these in order of how I’m going to go through here. So we’ll just just start with my hot bar here. I have a basic hot bar. hides hides corpses and forages and does auto inventory. Pretty basic. You push it and all the corpses hide. Plus it, you know, picks up some food and stuff, whatever. Then I have my assist button. Now, if I’m in a group where I’m not tanking, which is very rare, on this blank line, I’ll put X-target 19, which is the main target assist. You can see right there, it autopop populated as soon as I click that. I don’t do slash assist on any of my characters. I use Xtarget 19 which is where I have the group assist target set in the extended target window. Now over here I have attack on. So when I push four or five, right, it’s the same button on both buttons. Uh it will turn on attack. It’ll do nothing on that line. It’ll do pet attack, pet swarm, and then stand. Pet attack and pet swarm or if I have some kind of pet in some kind of way, uh it will attack. It will also swarm. I There’s little swarm pets that warriors get for generating aggro. I think I can control them. I’m not 100% sure. I haven’t really tested it. [music] I have those there just in case. And then I have slashstand for the odd mob that does fain death. And this will automatically stamp me right back up and uh won’t sit me back down as I spam it. [laughter] So, it’s it’s pretty uh pretty convenient. Uh then we have burns. We’ll talk about that after we finish the multi mine. So, as I said, four and five are my multi-bind buttons. Four is kind of a only the warrior does stuff. Five is where all my other characters are multi bound. So, that’s when they do stuff. So, when I’m pushing four, no one else should do anything, right? So, if I hit four, I’m doing stuff, but no one else over here has done anything at all. So, that allows me to play the warrior without having all my guys jump in and do anything and stuff like that. So, the first button I have is taunt. Taunt is the it’s like level one. It’s like the first ability we get uh right uh where is it? Like right right here. It just taunts the enemy. Uh the mechanics of it seem to be, you know, plus one to the aggro. So, if you know, say my bard Sana has 100 aggro, I taunt, I get one 100 plus one, right? So, I’m one over her when it comes to aggro. and then it just you know plus one after that. But since we are we are a warrior we do have some things that affect taunt. Now I don’t have a complete comprehensive list. I know some of them off the top of my head [music] like uh sneering grin right here gives our passive or gives our taunt skill uh 90% chance to trig trigger sneering uh grin which is an extra 30,000 hatred. So things like that are built into our AAS and there’s some synergy that you can get from that. Uh let’s see here. I think Flex is another one. No, that’s just when we get hit. So there’s things like that. I don’t have a full comprehensive list of all of these at the moment, but uh like haste and taunt, there’s things that work on these. And so it’s not just taunt, it’s taunt plus+ really. So keep that in mind. Next up, I have disarm. Uh, this is a lower level ability. I think level 20 or so. Uh, and it will disarm any weapon in the mob’s hand and put it into its inventory. [music] It’s arguable if that’s even worth casting or using at this point, but uh, I’m still using it and I like to use it honestly for the sole purpose of this. Right. So, if I go over here and I hit this arm, I’m too far away. If I go right here, I’m too far away. Well, if I go right here, I’m just right. So, it kind of like in my main chat window here, it kind of gives me a distance indicator. As I’m spamming the button, my disarm is going to tell me if I’m close enough, whereas some of these other things do not have in uh distance indicators, and so it kind of helps me [music] with that. Next up, we have a shield split. Shield split is our um is that even the right one? Shield splits. It should be I guess it’s every other expansion. So this we got this in the outer brood. Uh this is our synergy ability. I’m just I’m looking at this and I’m actually I’m questioning myself right now. Uh it looks like there is no upgrade to this otherwise I’d already have it. But uh yeah, definitely uh making me actually question that. But uh we’ll go with this. Uh shield split is our synergy ability. And as our synergy ability, it trig triggers our class synergy, Meridian’s synergy right here. Uh, and that’s that whole line. So, this looks to be a every other expansion kind of spell. Uh, which is actually kind of unfortunate because it is kind of weaker compared to some of our other stuff, but it is a two-handed slash attack. Uh, you don’t have to have a two-hander in your hand. It does 1,700 damage. And then it puts a bracing stance on us which will absorb a bunch of damage. 69,000 40% of that. So it is uh it is interesting that we don’t we don’t actually get that. But uh there we go. So this will absorb even more damage when we synergize that. And that goes on everybody in the group. So keep that in mind. Uh now the rest of these I have sorted aggro generating uh single targets. I have all those right here. And then the next line is more damage. So, uh I have provoke uh I don’t even know what is that 19. Provoke 19. It’s our timer 9 ability. Now, this will incite 38,000 uh hatred and also reflect uh uh this recourse on uh us, which will reduce our damage even further. So just like shield split reduces our damage, provoke also reduces our damage. Now also followed by that I have bazoo bazoo roar. Uh this is 29,000 hatred and uh deal deals an additional 23,000 every 6 seconds. Now I like to go all in on these. Now we have lots of single target aggro generating abilities. I found saving them all uh didn’t really do anything for me personally. So, I personally just burn most of them. Uh I save Blast for Anger is the only one I do not use in my multivine, but all the rest of my just uh keep it going cuz I want to have the highest hatred in my group at all times and I really don’t have any kind of problems with hatred due to the way that I do this. >> [music] >> Uh, next up we have Call of Challenge which is a snare. Now it is a different kind of snare. Like typically when a snare is going off, right, it will stop the mob completely in them with them in a fleece state. Whereas this one will make the mob turn and face you. Uh, more like a route if you will. So something to keep in mind there just in case you can’t handle that damage at that point in time. Then we have biting tongue discipline which uh causes a causes my taunt to trigger biting tongue strike which deals 4600 damage and 5959 hatred uh in addition to the normal stuff the taunt does. So you can see here this is another thing that modifies taunt. So, we want when we hit this biting tongue, right? That’s going that’s triggering, right? And then we’re taunting still as much as we possibly can. So, that’s something to keep in mind there. Uh, next up, we have harassing shout. Uh, see, this is a mighty shout that generates a 38,000 hatred and our for our target and lowers their ability to dodge for 33 seconds or 30 by 33% for 1 minute. So, you know, using this, you know, it’s a two-minute reuse, so to me, like you could save it, but it’s, you know, I I just do it on cooldown. So, we’ll see what happens there. You know, I haven’t had any issues with that ability not being up. Uh, next up, we have uh Roar of Challenge. Now, this is level 93, and I have I have not found a timer 14 upgrade to this at all. Uh what this does is it takes the accuracy of three nearby targets and lowers it, right? So this uh makes it three, you know, targets harder to hit us and increases our hatred. So this is an mini AOE taunt if you think about it. So I do that on cooldown. It’s a one minute reuse, 30 second duration. So you know, it’s like almost every fight. Uh yeah, that’s about every fight. like 1 minute. Um, I would say anywhere from 20 to 30 to 45 seconds is about how long it takes to kill one mob. If you have multiple mobs, it might take a little longer. So, just depending on the situation you’re in. Uh, then we have Paradoxal Expanse. Now, this is another one of those every other expansion kind of things. This one’s from 122. That’s where we won’t get another one until the uh I think the next expansion. But this is this is by far one of the most overpowered abilities that I’ve seen because I I didn’t I didn’t know about this for a little while cuz no no one had mentioned this to me when I was making my warrior until I started reading all these uh all these you know descriptions and figuring it out. So when you trigger this it will generate hatred AoE on every single target around you every time you get a heal. >> [laughter] >> How overpowered is that? I don’t even have to like go out of my way to target anything anymore. Uh like I save Blast Ringer. That’s why all my other single target aggros are just there. They’re just in the multi mine. Like when I get healed, all of these mobs here, all these training dummies would just straight up attack me if they could. That is how crazy it is. Like I I don’t I don’t have any issues with aggro for the like maybe two rounds if it just like some mob just wanders into where I’m at. Like less than two rounds cuz my shaman will heal me before before the end of that, right? It’s just crazy. And all my characters can take a hit or two. So like it’s it’s definitely uh it’s definitely been nice to have there. So, it’s this is a nice ability to uh you know, really take care of that single target healing that you’re going to be getting anyway, right? And then we have knee strike. So, I auto skill kick. I don’t auto skill bash or I do not auto skill bash or slam. I auto skill kick. Now, what this does, knee strike, every time I when activated, it uses the kick skill to do a kick, right? So, it’s 900 damage. Reduces their avoidance and uh snares them. So, definitely a nice little ability there to have. Uh then we have gut punch. This is another aggro generating ability. Uh reduces the accuracy by 50% an armor class by 52 on the target. So, it’s another one. It’s a 20 minute 20 minute 20 second reuse. So, obviously it’s a spam button. Uh and then we have cyclone blades. Now, if we look at timer 10, there are options. There are options. Now, you can pick whatever option you want for timer 10. Um, I think forceful attraction is it knuckle break. There’s some of these. They’re lower level. Uh, they’re not as uh I don’t think they’re as good, honestly. So, there you can see there’s the blade and then the blade, you know, so there’s options, but to me, this is the only option. Um, now this is a AoE. It’s uh 30 targets. It’s a one-handed slash attack. So, it goes 340 damage to every single target around me. Right? If I hit this, let’s stand right here. All these combat dummies should get hit by this, right? All the ones right over to this guy right here. So, you can imagine that as a circle, like anything that’s within my aggro range is is going to get hit by this. Now there is some you know there’s there’s hatred right you get 46% you know 4600 hatred so by default this is a you know AoE taunt if you will so I I do it on cooldown uh I have I have no problem fighting the ads that come right like if you’ve seen my live streams with this character my videos with this character like we have no we have no problems the warrior is the strongest tank in EverQuest And it is to me it’s the highest DPS class of you know like all the the tanks also. Um now my shadow knight uh hobs he’s not 125 yet or I mean 130 yet. So it is I like I don’t think I don’t think I do not think that he’s going to outdps the warrior at the end unless I put him in full raid gear. So I think I think the the the tank of you know the highest DPS tank, the best tank is going to be the warp. So [music] just being able to do that is crazy. Now there is some synergy you can get with Warlord’s Fury. So Warlord’s Fury will increase the hatred of all your attacks by 3,700. Right now if you do Warlords uh or I mean Warlords Fury and then Cyclone Blades, well you’re getting almost 100k of hatred, right? Wait, what is that? 46k, 37k. That’s that’s you know, you’re we’re getting close to 100k. Then if you pop rampage right after all that, that’s every every creature in a 40 foot radius gets hit by five primary slots. You have you have instant AOE aggro on everything and you’re going to hold that aggro. Plus, you have area taunt to follow up with that later on. We have we have a toolkit [laughter] and it is uh it is a lovely toolkit I’ll tell you that. Uh so there that’s you know cyclone blades I do it on cool down. I don’t even I don’t even need to wait. It’s a 45se secondond reuse. Just hit it. Boom. Damage damage damage. It is lovely. And then uh we have wars sh heroic blade. So, this channels relentless wars to strike your target for uh three two-handed slash attacks with a base damage of 3500, 3,700, 4400 damage, two-handed hit. Uh, blesses blesses us with heroic rage, which increases our melee speed and the, uh, critical damage by 50%. and the damage of our critical melee attacks by 180%. Now, I don’t if you know about a warrior, they’re pretty much doing critical attacks right here. So, here’s all the attacks I did in that last few rounds, right? All the orange ones are crippling blows or cripples, right? Like, it’s just like it’s unbelievable. Unbelievable how what our crit rate is, right? So, everything we do is pretty much critical. Now, I I do have some stuff on from my berserker, right? like I hit some buttons earlier, but uh I do have a berserker in my group and uh he does aid in that. So, it’s it’s there’s a synergy there, but without the berserker, he still does he does insane amounts of damage. So, let’s keep that in mind. And then we have weight into conflict. So, steals yourself into weight of conflict effect. Oh god, I can’t talk. causing enemy strikes to trigger a shell will draw the attention of foes to your location. So, every time I get hit, I get an AoE taunt. 24 of them. In fact, every 5 minutes in just a lovely, lovely opportunity. Now, with that, every time we get hit by with Phix of Fury here, the AA, we get another 25,000 25,000 points of hatred, right? So, you can kind of see here that if I get hit, I’m generating hatred. If I hit something, I’m generating hatred. If I get healed, I’m generating hatred. If I just show up and I look around, mobs die. It is It is obviously so so strong. Uh, and then we have Battle Leap. Now, a lot of people don’t like this ability for some reason. I love it. It is a 1second uh stun on level 133 or lower mobs. It does 105,000 damage. 105,000 damage. And it will move me across the map. I mean, my What is that? Target’s way over there, right? He’s on the other side of my berserker. If I Where’d he go? If I hit battle leap, boom. Look at that. From Guild Hall’s side to Guild Hall’s side. I’m instantly in. And if we look at the damage, where is that? I think it’s spell damage, actually. Battle leap 42,000 critical. Amazing, right? Absolutely amazing. So, definitely worth worth using on cooldown in all honesty. Now, when you do it in melee range, right, it just jumps you up a little bit. Uh, which could could not be annoying depending on, you know, your thing, but it is low. I hit it on cool down. It is free damage. I did it twice. Two crits in a row. I mean, let’s go for three. Let’s see what happens when we do the third one. I mean, this is 402,000 damage. 463,000 damage. This is a lucky critical after two other criticals. I mean, can we get a fourth? I mean, this is just like this is an lovely ability. It’s fun. The Berserker has the same ability, and it makes the Berserker a better melee class than most because then they’re always in melee range. 464. We did it again. I mean, that’s what, four crits in a row. I mean, I just it’s hard to believe, but it’s insane. Uh, now, as I said, the berserker gets the same ability and it keeps them in melee range. I like it because it keeps me within melee range, uh, of my target when I’m not looking. Just it’s just crits after crits. It’s just lovely. Now, we have uh, this one here, Imperator’s Command, which is actually kind of a nice ability. Uh, when I first got this, I was like, “Oh man, I don’t know when I’ll use this.” And then I saw that it’s a 3minute reuse. It’s under 10 minutes. It goes into the multi-bind. Reduces the cast time of spells with mana by 40%. Boom. I don’t have spells. Oh, it’s a group buff for everybody. It is a group buff for everybody in my group. So, uh, right there, I’m giving spell haste as good as a cleric. Boom. increases your chance to proc uh you know buffs and abilities during combat. 14% extra proc rate. Wow. 30 30,000 health points. 40% haste. 57 armor. 800 points of mana regen and 600 points of endurance regen. Holy sh. We are like a beast lord at this point. We’re generating so many resources for our group now. I mean, I’m at I’m at 3,400 mana regen as a warrior. I mean, it’s just a joke really. 16,000 HP regen and,00 uh endurance regen. It’s insane. Absolutely insane. So, this is I do it on cooldown. Now, with the synergy with that and my monk, I’m at pretty much full resources all the time. The only time I’m not at full resources is when I take my monk out of the group. That’s how crazy that is. So, uh, definitely something really nice there. And then, oh, we just hit it. And then another crit. Oh my gosh. All right. And then we have finally the last two. These are a that are specific to expansions. I have Ariad’s Bane, which uh you get from doing the achievements in the Outer Brood, which gives you the ability to remove curse of subjugation. uh which will uh increase what my increases my melee damage by 6% plus some other stuff, right? So, it’s a nice buff to have. If you’re in the Outer Brood expansion, you want to be doing this on cooldown whenever you can. So, I put it in my multivine. Now, we have unleash magic. I’m still trying to figure out these storms uh [music] in the shattering row. And for the most part, uh, I ignore them, but I hit this ability on cooldown just in case one goes over me and I get this little effect. Now, sometimes sometimes you randomly get an extra like 40,000 damage crit uh, spell and some other stuff, right? So, it’s like random. It’s not as like Ora Bane is like perfect. You know what’s going to happen. You, you know, you go fight a big dragon, he’s going to buff you. You get the curse and then you can activate it. You get a buff, right? This one, it’s a little bit more random uh on how it all works, but uh it’s it’s not too bad. I do it on I do it on cooldown. I uh [music] I have no no issues with it me doing that, right? Sometimes you lose resources, but again, nothing that nothing that [laughter] I would affect me in any possible way. Uh yeah, so that is my multivine. That is all the abilities I push on cooldown, right? I I hit them on cool down. They have no I have no desire to save them for any possible way. I just not something I I think about right now for defensively tanking flash of anger by far. It’s a level 87 ability. It never gets upgraded again. There’s only one timer 11. It’s flash. It is by far the strongest ability that I think we have for defensive. Now, why this stops all incoming damage? All incoming damage that is melee based just stops. You can be at like -1 health. Hit this, you will live until you until it wears off. It lasts for what? It says uh 0 seconds, says 6 seconds there. I think it’s actually 10 seconds with all my all my abilities. And it is fantastic. I click flash pretty much on cooldown, but not exactly cool down, right? I save it for when I need it, but I like it’s not a multiind. [music] It’s not something I would multivine, but it’s something that I pretty much hit on cool down. Uh just because of how strong it is. So, you want to if you’re, you know, you’re taking a lot of damage, hit flash, you’re not taking any damage. that gives you six seconds to heal yourself, have your healer heal you, something else to happen so that you cannot die. Uh, it works on unlimited amount of mobs, so you can have 20 mobs whacking the swack out of you. You hit pop flash, they’re just like, “Whoa, I don’t know what to do.” And you can, you know, get off AoE slow, you can get off stand, whatever else you need to get off to stay alive, you can do it. It’s fantastic. Sometimes I just go through here and I hit all the warlords and uh you know that’s enough to stay alive. So we’ll talk about those in here in just a second. But definitely that is by far the strongest ability bar none. I can I I would not say that there’s anything else better than flash of anger right now. Now to follow that I go into stand most of the time. Now, stand is the defensive ability, right? Like at level 55 or so, we get defensive. And over time, that is upgraded. It gets different names and stuff like that, but final stand is the the the final name of it. And this is fantastic. 45% melee reduction. Boom. Right there. You know, you’re getting hit for 100k, you know, you’re getting hit for uh what, 65k, whatever. Right. Definitely a very nice thing. It will absorb up to what almost a million damage before it dissipates. So, uh Oh, no. It triggers something that will absorb that, right? So, it [laughter] that would be nothing. Uh so, it there’s a chance when we when we do attacks while we have this that we will get this absorb, right? I said that completely wrong, but that should work better. So definitely that is my number two discipline right there. And then we have uh bracing defense which is a interesting ability cuz it lasts for quite a while. Uh and uh all it does is increase our armor class. But uh so I’m at 141. Pop this. I’m at 165. So it’s let’s just say two two300 AC. Uh right from that now just increasing our AC alone reduces damage significantly. Now you could probably if you wanted to just run bracing defense pretty much on cooldown, right? You could have it up at all times and then only swap to these other disciplines if you want. Uh I don’t do it that way. I you know I I should probably it would help probably reduce my damage even more, but uh you know don’t do it that way. But you could and permanently have that extra 2,000 AC, right? So, just depends there. Now, when this one’s not going, you can also use uh abrasive impact here. This will uh absorb 22% of incoming damage uh up to what 2100 or two 21 210,000 or 12 hits. Uh let’s see here. It also triggers, you know, you can trigger that 70 times, right? So there’s some defensive there. Uh reciprocal shield is the is the next one. So this does reciprocal shield. This is from the previous expansion. There’s no upgrade for it in this expansion. Be the next expansion we get one. Uh this one uh gives us reciprocal shield. So this does a lot here. And it’s it’s the progressive ability. So it will have different ranges on what it does. So this is like reciprocal shield one, but if I sort my stuff, I should have reciprocal shield four. Uh yeah, I have four because I’ve done all the questing in the outer brood. If I can actually not screw this up as I drag up. Uh right there. So four absorbs 40% of incoming spell damage above above 12,000 or melee damage above 19,000. Absorbs 30% of incoming DOT damage. Increases your hate actions expire by 100%. increases your maximum hit points by 25% of their base value. This shield will fail or fall after absorbing almost a million damage or 600 strikes. So definitely uh you know something you want having going on there. It’s a nice defensive ability for sure. Uh respplendant glory is another good one here. This will in fact increase the effectiveness of incoming heals. So if you know if you have a lesser a lesser healer uh you know that’s not healing as much right someone who doesn’t have max AAS you could pop this and then their heals are going to hit for 11 to 15% more which you know might help out if you’re you know group with somebody who can’t heal as much as some other people. So just something there. Now this is uh this is a spot for the glyph. Now we should talk about the glyph real quick. I’m not max max AA at the moment. Um I’m still working towards that. We’re at 60,000. I just want to get these videos out before uh it’s too late, right? But I use glyph of ultimate power. So this is a uh no, not glyph of ultimate power. Glyph of dragon scales. I’m sorry. That’s that’s my mug. Uh so this increases our maximum u base health, mana, endurance by 20%. Our mitigation and avoidance goes up by 50%. protects against 35% of dam uh dam dots 35% of direct damage and or melee hits that exceed 75 point 750 jeez I can’t talk 7500 damage per hit so it absorbs a lot of that damage persists through death uh obviously there’s another rank after this one I just don’t have it yet uh but what this does is makes you a living Kraken god and you can tank a lot of stuff. I like to pull like you know large pools and use it then. Uh so I’ll pop you know glyph plus say final stand and I’m taking almost nothing from like 20 level 130 mobs you know or 125 mobs whatever I’m fighting right so it’s definitely a very very nice thing to have. I just don’t have it right now because it cost AAS and I’m still working on that. So, another good one here is in the line. So, we’ll absorb 8,700 damage from incoming melee or spell strikes, and it fades after 4 million or 600. So, it just absorbs some of that damage off the top. And then, warriors Ospus. This one generates 17,000 hatred. It grants us a rune that protects incoming against incoming hits that inflict at least 74,000 damage. absorbing 80% of the damage that exceeds 74,000 damage and it’ll do 2.9 million damage total. So, let’s let’s talk about that. 74,000 damage sounds like a lot. Uh but it’s not really. Um 74,000 damage is is a little over the baseline of what you’re going to get hit in tier 2. Uh, I think the like it’s it’s for me it’s anywhere from 68,000 to about 100,000 depending on what I’m fighting and depending on what buffs are active, right? So, this is something I would pop on a boss. This is something you would pop on a raid boss, things like that. And it would negate a lot of that extra incoming damage. Anything named is going to be hitting in that higher damage range. uh tier one stuff in in the shattering row is, you know, 68,000 probably is, you know, the highest they’re going to go anyway. So, you’re not going to really have any issue. I I can take several mobs in tier one without even thinking about it. And it’s, you know, it’s pretty easy there. But it’s when you get into the tier 2, the spite stuff where you’re getting lots of mobs that you would, you know, you could avoid normally just with pulling correctly. Whereas in spite, you know, you pull one, you get maybe four or five. So, [laughter] you know, it just depends there. And then we have armor of Ralosian runes, which has not gotten an upgrade yet from what I could tell. Uh maybe there is one here and I’m just blind. Uh I don’t see it. Uh this just gives us a rune that pro prevents us from taking a little bit of damage. So, it’s pretty nice there. Uh let’s see here. Lionhearted Cry. This is like an AoE stun. I don’t do it much cuz it’s a target ability. If it wasn’t a target ability, I’d put it in my put it in the multiind. So, uh there’s that. Uh then we have like fortitude and ferocious or furious discipline. Now, the breastplate makes uh fortitude last a little longer. So, it’s one kind of worth doing, but in all honesty, I’ve never had to actually hit fort fortitude or furious. Uh and those share the same timer. So, if you’re fighting something cast a lot of damage, you’re going to want mage in the uh mark of the mage hunter just help negate some of that damage. Uh if you’re burning and you want to do extra damage, brightitefield’s uh onslaught discipline is that discipline to use. It will uh increase your damage slightly, not too much, but it increases your damage. Same with vah rage. Uh this one will increase your base damage by 15%. Uh let’s see here. What do we got here? Uh just some clickies and stuff like that. Well, let’s talk about clickies. So, you’re going to want uh you know, obviously a charm. You want to click that when you can. [laughter] You’re also going to want uh I have an instac uh illusion just so if I want to, you know, get rid of my illusions and turn into a skeleton, I can, you know, boom, skeleton at all times. I like being smaller. I hate I hate the ogre models uh cuz they’re just so large and I like instaccast stuff, right? And I got my candle illusion if I want. I thought I would like it more than I do when I don’t. And then I have a quiver to summon arrows. Now, I don’t have it yet, but uh when I can get it, the unified phoenix feather is uh what I’m going to get. I’m like one page away. I didn’t finish it. Um, I didn’t finish [laughter] the uh the quest before the anniversary event left last year, so hopefully I can get it done this year. Uh, so let’s talk about these Warlord ones. So, Warlord’s Tenacity heals us for 75,000 and gives us 80,000 extra hit points. Warlord’s Fury, as I talked before, makes us do more hatred on all our actions. Warlord’s Bravery gives us uh 15 uh 15% melee reduction for 105 hits. And Warlord’s Resurgent heals us for 80,000 and then gives us 2100 endurance or 21 health regen and 66 endurance regen. So, you know, I I would say the best time to pop resurgence is like right after you get rest. I would say that would be the best time to pop it. [laughter] Maybe pop tenacity. If you’re being battle res, I would pop uh resurgence. I would pop all the warlords, honestly. Pop them all and get back in. If you watch my live streams, when I do die, I call him back with my shaman and then I jump right back into the fighting. If I can, I pop uh final stand or whatever else I got up. Uh and then you want to pop these two. Get all that in all those resources back if you can uh as soon as you can. uh war cry. Uh it it’s supposed to grant immunity to fear to your group for uh a little bit for a minute and 42 seconds and a 14% chance to resist silence and amnesia spells. Uh I truly haven’t had an opportunity to use it. I wish it did charm also. It might it would make it actually kind of useful in the group group mission, but uh no luck there. Now, let’s talk about the burn real quick, uh, before we wrap this up. So, the burn, I got Spire of the Warlord, Projection of Fury, Rage of Alisac, use my breastplate, which I already forgot what it does. Roaring Shield, absorb 40% of incoming damage, then exceeds 12,000 per hit for 2.3 million total. So, a nice absorb there. I have Bloodbrders Coding here just as a placeholder. I don’t actually have it yet. I have it on my other character on uh FV and I never changed the hockey. Uh Burn Two, Bahamut Rage, Warlords Fury, Signa of Ganar, same thing. I don’t have it yet because plane of war is a pain of war is a pain. Uh then Blade Guardian and Warlord’s Bravery, which is again another uh damage reduction uh on top of that cuz uh Rage makes it so you don’t get healed as much. So reducing some of that damage while you’re doing all that is helpful. And then burn three, which is just intensity. The resolute, which is a non-stacking uh damage increaser, does not stack with glyph. So like spire just increases our uh everything, right? It’s just a huge buff. Armor class, avoidance, all that stuff gets buffed. Rage deck, our procs go off more. Fury obviously increases our hatred. Projection of fury gives us a little swarm pets that generate tons of hatred. Rage increases our damage by 15%. Um but reduces the heals by 10%. So breastplate, obviously we already talked about that one. Blade Guardian gives us a little uh little like guardian angel that protects us from uh getting killed. Uh if we drop below 40% health, it increases our uh parry rate by 90%. So it’s kind of like flash of anger. Uh but not as good. Summon agent just summons little pet. Infusion of faithful I just said uh no infusion of the faithful is a different one. That’s just a buff to everything. I don’t know. I don’t even know why it’s on my bar there. And then it tends to say the resolute uh increases all the stats. So it’s pretty nice too. All right. So that’s that is like abilities and stuff like that. I I do like my thing I spam for all I do. You see every single ability already been activated except for the two that won’t activate here and just constantly chunking here. Like almost every single like if you look at my melee damage over here, almost every single one of these besides the miss is a crippling or something blow, right? So, it’s insane. Uh, statwise, uh, let’s talk about gear. Heroic agility is what I’m going for. I currently have plus 30 3492. I’m almost at 35. Uh, I do have the banner of the outer brood, which is a trophy, which gives 105. And then my tribute is Bulock of Honor for AC. Uh, dance to the Hero for the heroic agility, Eyes of the Hunter for more accuracy, Fury of Combat for more furies, main hand attacks, double attacks, triple attacks, and then Vengeful Aura for 60 more attack. Those are the tributes I have running at all times. I’m currently working on the Shatter Go collections and the Laurian Song collections to get two more trophies. So, that’ll increase this more. Now, you’re going to want heroic agility, I think, is the best option for the warrior right now. Uh, you might be able to get away with heroic dexterity, but right now, I’m doing 100% agility, and I’m replacing everything with the highest agility I can get. So, that uh works for you. I have uh 100,000 or 100,000 a million hit points. So, uh what’s that? A million 70,000. Jeez, my eyes are terrible, so I can’t really tell. Is that Yeah, it looks like a million7 70,000. I got a lot of hit points. Uh I can surge that up more with, you know, some buffs plus, you know, everything else, but it’s pretty good. Uh the weapon you’re going to want is the Sword Breaker of Unraveling Order. This is the tier three warrior weapon. You get this from uh crafting. Uh, you got to go get the the finesse essence, the purple one. Put it in a little container. Boom. You got that second off hand. I have the tier two, uh, which is the dropped one, uh, from I got this I got this actually in a mission, so I don’t know. I’m not 100% sure where it really drops. You’re going to want those. Those are going to be the two best weapons you can get right now. Uh, raid weapons and raid loot are obviously better. You’re going to want the the ring. Uh, this is from the the outer brood. This is uh the fully Yeah, this is the fully geared group version one right here. I do not have the raids in the outer brood. So, this is about as good as it gets uh non-rade wise. You’re going to want your type 18s and 19s. Get all those maxed out, whatnot for that. Uh so, this is the this is the neck. I’m missing the slayer achievement to get the uh this this is from Laurian song. Once I have the slayer, I can evolve this one more time. I’m close. I’m like two zones away. [laughter] Uh I just haven’t had time to finish that. So, you’re going to want this neck. Uh plus, you want to actually finish out your type 18s and 19s. Uh type 19. Uh you’re going to want the raid version of that if you can get it. You can take six characters into the raids and go kill trash and get the the AUGs, but uh I have not done that yet. And [sighs] then obviously for the shattering of row, you’re going to want the mask. The mask is the best mask in the game. It gives you uh temperament of the vortex, which has a unique effect. Warriors, paladins, and shadow knights, and bards get uh what is this? 22% extra hatred on the mask. uh which is fantastic. Uh and then uh as I evolve this, it’ll get more another type 18 and a 19, I believe. Uh but uh I’m still working on the mask. So definitely you’re going to want those items. Uh what is this one? Uh it’s just a helmet. Uh you’re going to want the unraveling order. This is the crafted group armor. This is the breastplate. I don’t have a full set yet. I am working on it, but I’m just not as motivated [laughter] to finish it all out. So, you’re going to want that. You’re going to also want, you know, all the unraveling order that you can get, right? All the crafted stuff. I have uh I have a few pieces. I made the belt. I made a few of the armor pieces. Silk is kind of hard to get. I think I made the ring. Uh I haven’t got an earring yet, so that’s something I’m working on. Uh I have the cloak. I don’t know if I put it in my bank. Yeah, I have the cloak from my shadows, but I don’t have any of the quests and stuff done there. So, it’s not as good as the guardian cloak from [laughter] from uh unraveling order. So, it’s, you know, I’m I wouldn’t be losing stats by not using it. So, definitely, you know, you got to pick and choose there. And then, uh shoulders, I’m almost in full, right? Like, I’m almost there. Uh, I have the power source somewhere, but I haven’t put it on yet. So, like I’m I’m all I need is earrings in all honesty and silk to upgrade these uprisings. So, I’m using So, I I have like the bracer, but I don’t have the boots. The boots, you know, I’m just need silk to upgrade these. But, I’m in tier three uh uprising. So, it’s uh it’s, you know, second best option. I could upgrade these to the craft the the tier two, but I just don’t want to waste the money. I don’t need it. If I was if I was suffering, I would, but I don’t need it. So, uh, so that’s gearwise. That’s, you know, the direction I’m going. Uh, I think I’m going to probably try to buy the chase, uh, warrior weapon. Uh, I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s it’s the equivalent to the outer brood tier one raid one. So, if I can get a hold of that, that’s, you know, the next upgrade I would get, then put this one in the off hand. Uh, I just I don’t plan on raiding as a warrior, so I don’t see myself getting any warrior upgrades ever. [laughter] So, uh, until the next expansion, so it’s kind of, you know, done there. Uh, but that is everything. Uh, I have I’ve been talking for a while. I don’t think there’s much else to go. Oh, yeah. Uh, there is more. There is [laughter] more. I didn’t even talk about this bar. Uh, champions aura. That is our aura. You want this up at all times. Uh, you want the best familiar you can get. I got the candle familiar here. You’re also going to want the violet conch of tempest from the temp darken sea which is a nice little AC buff somewhere around here. Uh, field armorer is our current level armor line of spells which increases our group AC by, you know, a good amount. I’m at 165 right now. And then commanding voice, which allows more people to dodge attacks, right? It all adds up now. I think I’m done. [laughter] I think that’s everything. These are just macros to swap shields and shielding my characters and junk like that. Nothing too fancy there. But that that is that is how I uh that’s how I set up the warrior, right? Like uh we’re going to have we’ll have a video after I do all the all these characters where I play them all together and I show the multivine, right? All I do is hit four. Like I I I can’t explain this enough. All I’m hitting is four. Everything is just automatically selected by the game client and done done on its own, left to right. So it’s just setting up bars and getting it all going uh and stuff like that. Now I don’t know why the DPS is showing. [laughter] I think it broke. But it is, you know, pretty much as self-explanatory as it could possibly be. Set up the multi-bind, spam the button, win. [laughter] It’s so easy. Uh, it’s an easy class. Definitely not a challenge. You don’t have to spam the button as much as you you would think you do, like say for a Shadow Knight or anything like that, but definitely uh definitely good. So, that is how I play my warrior. That’s how he’s set up. That is how he’s configured. That is everything about him. Uh if you have any questions or comments about the warrior, please let me know and I will answer them. I am 100% sold on the warrior as the best tank in EverQuest. I am sold on it as the best group tank in EverQuest, too. I would say there’s nothing that a shadow knight or paladin can provide that the warrior doesn’t. It just can’t overpower. The warrior does everything that you could possibly need as a tank. does more damage than a Paladin. Does more probably more damage than a Shadow Knight. I’ll know when I get mine to 130. Uh but that’s uh that’s that’s a few few few weeks away. We won’t uh we won’t know for a little while. But uh you know, it’s just it’s just so strong of a class and I definitely worth thinking a shot if you have not given it a shot. But uh that’s that that is how I do it. [gasps] That is how I play them. Thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic day.
