Gotta Get Our Shrink On

Hello and welcome back to uh my legendary adventures in Norrath. And today uh we’re going to go off to to um God, I already forgot the name of this zone. We’re going to go to Blackburrow. I keep forgetting. Uh but what we’re going to do is we just killed this guy real quick as a nice little quick uh pre-kill since I logged out and I was still in my instance when I came back in after uh getting my car. So, we got that done. Uh we got another uh scythe we can upgrade and do. So, let’s uh let’s get out of here and go to Blackburrow. Now, I’m almost certain I’m almost certain I’m going to die the second I port, but uh here’s here’s hoping. Let’s uh spirit of wolf us just in case we don’t. We’re going to transport Anatutica ring of sure fall. Now, we have North Karana also. Which will also probably kill us. >> [laughter] >> But uh let’s uh let’s go there. So, our goal is to get the shrink shoulders. I don’t really care about anything else in uh Blackburrow. Uh there is an arrow that might be worth grabbing uh just so that we have an arrow. But I truly don’t think there’s anything I’m like Oh, no, I got to get I got to get it. Right, right. I have to look at my uh list, but all right, we’re not dead yet. I’m trying to remember the exact path here. All right, well, I guess you boys don’t want to fight. Yeah, I you see an ogre you know you know what’s up. I understand. Uh you know, able to kill a hill giant at level 12 and uh just not even not even sweat it either, right? I I was I was doing it without snare at first with just bard song and stuff, right? It’ll make it a little harder, but I don’t have to deal with ensnaring every damn thing. Cuz I’m lazy. At the end of the day, I am I’m the laziest person when it comes to playing this game. Arrow complete. Let’s see if we can get downstairs. Now, like I believe the thought process is you’re supposed to see the hard mobs and then run away. Uh but we’re not going to do it that way. We’re level 15. We should be able to smoke all that stuff without even trying. You know, we are big and beefy. We got almost 1,200 hit points right now. So, let’s uh let’s start uh swacking these guys. Now, we’re going to want to take keep the gold null things. So, we’re going to auto uh store those. Just going to put them put them straight in our dragon hoard. Uh those are used for Halas faction later on. So, keep that in mind. All right, kill. Oh, yeah, we’re getting we already got a train. Look at that. All right, where are you guys going? I’m going to just want to make sure my back is faced right. So, when you try to stun me, you feel the pain that is a cleave. Look at that, 132. Uh patched gnoll fur, I don’t even know what that’s for. I feel like it’s a vendor item. Ringmail neck guard, right? Might as well. Ringmail bracelet, might as well. All right. Now, there’s going to be named right here plus a bunch of other mobs. We want to have full life when we go over the bridge here, but we’re going to go ahead and swap in that destroy and that destroy, right? And we still we have the death happen scythe in her bag from last episode. I was going to upgrade it, but I’m waiting. Do one more heal. All right, we’re going to pure breathe sprout and we’re going to run in here and show them what’s up. All right, not not as many as I was expecting. There we go. We got double attacks, so we’re going to be doing a lot more melee damage now. So, this is working out pretty well. Excellent. And then the refugees like literally right on the other side of where this guy is, so he’s the next pull. One. All right, we got a bronze rapier rapier rapier. I know people make fun of the way I say stuff, so I’m I’m trying to lean into it a little bit more just to annoy people. There we go and we got another moat. Perfect. Now, apparently the like the drop rates are bugged, right? Like there’s some bugs in the I guess for some reason they decided to change it, but there is a change. Oh, we got the rune saber tooth belt, which is the belt I was looking for, I think. Um there there was there’s a change to the way uh like used to be able to do a D4 and you always got a D4 or better item, right? Uh they changed that for some reason and now you don’t get No, you don’t. Uh so they’re going to revert that apparently or change it some way because uh there’s a lot of complaints. Look at that. This is 16 AC. Oh my gosh. Look at that. We’re at 130 AC now. 130 or 350 cap. Soft cap. So, we’re doing pretty well. Now, if we look at the uh guards of Qeynos, right? We’re still scowls, but we’re almost threatening. So, we might uh might spend a little bit of time here. Getting a little bit higher. It doesn’t take long. I guess one of these is healing the other one. I don’t know. Perfect. Oh, auto update. Boom. All right, sham shooters back up. And the master brewer is up over there on the other side. And our the shield of thistles is down, so let’s fix that. And we got another elite on us. Not sure where he Oh, he came from, but I’m rooted, I guess. My attack keeps getting turned off by them. These things are uh doing a lot more damage than I was expecting, but uh we’re slowly slowly getting better, right? Like it’s uh it’s definitely a a process. I want his bow is kind of really what the I want from him. And then uh then we’ll go kill the brewer, I think, since we got the breastplate and the uh belt from this guy already. So, uh we definitely able to come in here at 15 and just plow it down after uh you know, a little bit of time in Befallen. So, that is not bad. >> [groaning] >> And I would expect these to give more experience. I feel like I feel like it’s a lot less than I’m remem- remembering, but I guess that’s just how it is. Uh, it probably wasn’t going to be a big deal, but I was honestly getting annoyed having to duck through all the all the doors in Befallen, so it is uh it is what it is there, but not too bad. Sprouting heal hit, grab another one. Does that crit yet? No. But, I mean, it’s it’s pretty consistent damage or uh healing damage, right? It’s very consistent. That’s very consistent to that. 2% chance is pretty rare for the dots with druid. There we go. That one’s dead, and we’ll do a heal. What do we have? Uh, 69 platinum. Perfect. Get another heal. Yeah, Dinnin’s disruptive discord is at 18. So, when we hit 18, we’re going to want to uh switch out probably uh the run speed for that. We got another belt. Not too bad there. We’re going to want to switch out that uh run speed for the other dot, which will give us another like 20 dots per, you know, 20 damage per tick AoE, right? This one’s 13 at the moment, so uh not too bad there. And we could probably go empower, right? And it should empower our bard dots. I don’t know why my attack keeps coming off. Let’s look and see if it actually does anything. So, that was doing Yeah, got a little extra damage from that bard dots. So, that’s perfect. And I’m not really going out of my way to cast other things, so just heals. So, those are getting powered, too. So, that’ll be That’ll be easy extra damage we can get out of that since we don’t really need the mana right now. That guy going. Oh, we already got sprout on us. There we go. All right. Mode of minor potential. Now, we’re going to grab this guy. Now, the multi-class mobs and the named mobs and the raid mobs all have bonus I I why I turned my attack stuff. Um they all have bonus um What’s the word I’m looking for here? Bonus um chance to drop motes and stuff, so. Definitely this probably stupid. They’re all in the wrong positions, too. All right. I’m going to go defensive again. We should get a sprout here in a second. I’m going to pop recovery. I just need this dumb gnoll to die. There we go. Switch over here. Oh, that’s that’s uh But, what this does is this is going to get us you know a little bit higher level, so when we go over back to uh Befallen, which I’m bound there, right? Yeah, I’m bound in West Commonlands, so I can just gate right back there. And uh Oh, we got two AAs, perfect. Which I believe we can get a next spot. There we go. Another spell slot. So we have one AA and I feel like it’s worth getting fury of magic, which will give us another 2% crit chance on spells. Non non-dots though. It’s just for critical damage spells, which we’re not really casting right now, but might as well just pick it up. I mean doesn’t really matter too much at this point. And then let’s see here. We got two charges left. Let’s go ahead and pre-buy the next potion. Let’s loot that. I don’t know if we’ll need it. A mammoth skin, I don’t know what that’s for. Perfect. All right, we picked up that. And let’s do this. I know I I was curious if they updated this the hunters achievements for these things. Um I don’t even see Blackbarrow. There’s Fallen. Yeah, they didn’t up they didn’t update them. Uh I did I don’t even see What is the real name of this zone? Yeah, I don’t even see it. There’s an elite Shaman. So, I I thought they were going to update those before release, but uh I guess not. Let’s get this. So, that means you’ll have to go back through and kill all the names again uh to get the achievements for uh doing all this, which is kind of kind of annoying, I don’t honestly. But, uh now there’s no more placeholders, I think in most zones. So, they they went ahead and went forward with that. So, that’ll be good. Let’s go ahead and go back to offensive now. I’ll be worth putting damage spell on our bar, but I’m flying by the the seat of my pants here. There we go. This guy’s almost dead. I’m going to die him and then switch. And then we got a fourth. And then Sprout needs to go on ASAP before we get a sprouted ourselves. Oh my god. Now, I popped evasive. Uh which I should have been popping all along, but I I had forgotten I had evasive since we’re Bard, right? So, Bard is like all the all the melee classes get evasive except the warrior for some reason. I feel like that’s an oversight. But, we can switch back. That just makes it so they pretty much can’t hit us for a short amount of time. To prevent death. So, that’s good. All right, auto sell that. Don’t fall down the hole. Drop down here. Kill him. And let’s see. He’s dotted. I’m not sprouted, so let’s get sprouting. Sprouting. Sprouting time. And we got another sh- a shroud, which is just more soul. More AC upgrade. Excellent. All right, so what are we doing now? We got our bashes are doing normal damage. Our slashes are doing 100 plus. Excellent. Now, I think when we go back to Befallen, I’ll probably do a a a tier one so I don’t have to do with the running uh the running uh willow wisps and stuff. So, that’s going to be uh probably what we do. All right, we’re getting smoked cuz I didn’t heal. We’re going to go into evasive. Sprout. And then swarm and then we’re out of endurance already, so we’re going to pop balanced. And we’re going to heal. Pop divine and double heal. Excellent. Once you Once you get everything set up, it’s pretty easy to uh to do. There we go. Another bandanna. And we killed the other guy at the same time. So, we killed two mobs at the same time, right? Like that’s That’s how crazy it is, right? 20 points till threatening. We’re almost there. All right. Let’s go back down here. And looks like we beat the spawns there. So, let’s uh let’s kind of sprout. And we’ll do one more cycle here and then we’ll call it on this place. I’m not I don’t really like I don’t really like this zone that much and I don’t really care if we get the boat too much. Uh I do plan on coming back here with uh you know, the next the next set, right? I plan on leveling through a lot of these zones, picking up all the items we didn’t get. But, I really wanted the shrink item cuz I was just getting too annoyed. It’s truly the the uh the pure reason of coming here. I you know, if I get annoyed by something, I usually try to fix it immediately. So, definitely fun. There we go. There he is. Let’s tag him with a dot. And we’re going to stay in divine, I think. Maybe divine’s like the the play for this. But, 16 Let’s see here. See if there’s any spells I’m missing that I need to go buy. And then, uh we’re going to go back to Befallen, I think, for the next episode. Um now, I think what I’ll do is I’ll just kind of pre-farm a little bit, maybe level up a few times while going through, cuz it’s just going to be mindless grinding of the the the levels we already did. Um and then, when we get down to that last room, you know, we’ll pop in and stuff like that and do do a few cycles together before we uh we’re done with Befallen. I think that’s really going to be the the best way. Cuz otherwise, you’re going to get like a 2-hour video of me just like killing the same stuff over and over and getting, you know, bored talking. >> [laughter] >> It it gets kind of repetitive. Uh What is level tearing them apart? Oh, he’s he’s killing dark elves. Nice. I don’t know why that auto attack is getting turned off. I I feel like I’m not pushing any buttons, but who knows. There we go. You got to spam tracking to get the uh skill updates, so. All right, but I think that’s uh that’s it. Well, I mean, we killed another, you know, another name, right? We got another belt.
