Hate is the Place to Be

Hello and welcome to my adventures, my legendary adventures in Norath. Today we are in the plane of hate and uh we’re going to get some armor. That is our goal. So I created the instance already. It’s uh you know to get to hate you go to the oasis, you go to the center thing where Spectre Island is, you click the sword, you zone in, you click the little button down here, create instance, and you boom, you’re in. And uh let’s go like that. So we can kind of see this is where the level is. It looks like the uh mini bosses spawn in here. So that is cool. So what we’re going to do is take a look at the mobs here. Now uh someone I know someone’s going to ask me where what mobs spawn where. And I’m about to tell you I didn’t pull up the page beforehand. Uh see that’s not what I want. raids. All right. Plane of hate right here. All right. So, if you go to the wiki and you go to plane of hate, right, [music] and you scroll down, it tells you right here. So, we are a warrior. We want to kill spy golems, [laughter] uh, reverent males, ashen bone, drakes, kurikai, liches, rats, and anything upstairs for legs, right? Um, that’s what we got to do today. So, let’s take a look at what we got here. We got abhorrent. That is a risk for another group. Abhorant. Haunted chest is a [music] wild card. So, let’s go h get that wild card right now. Haunted chest can be just about anything that can spawn, right? It must be upstairs. There it is. All right. What do we got? Oh, we got twofer. Oh, two hanging bang me. Two rats. [music] All right. Let’s get these gangs going. Now, these mini bosses also spawn [music] in uh the raid instance, right? You get a random set of them. So, uh, don’t feel obligated to kill those, but if you do kill them, they will have a higher chance of dropping armor, I believe. Now, this guy can drop cleric, druid, shaman, beast lord, ranger, paladin, berserker, and monk along with luster reset wrists. So, uh, we might get some upgrades, you know, through the druid or through the, uh, shaman on these ones. [music] So, now I did a respawning instance. Probably the smart thing to do would be a nonrespawning instance. So, you can just go through and clear everything and then recycle it. Uh, but I mean, you play it your way. I play it my way. Doesn’t really matter. I forgot to do my melody, so I’m not even trying that hard right now. Uh you can see here I’m in unyielding and uh I have not healed and I’m barely paying attention. That’s how strong our regen is right now. It’s very good. Now we are in uh difficulty one because I didn’t I didn’t know how well I would do doing this, but [gasps] obviously uh it’s going pretty well. Now it looks like we’re going to get 1.6% experience per kill, give or take. So, that’s not too bad, right? We’re going to be here a while. Uh, I don’t think I’m going to use any more AA potions at this point. So, when these four go away, we’re probably done with that. Uh, just not much to do with that. Now, I’m going to probably just loot everything and then figure [music] it out, right? Like, this is a nice rogue weapon. Uh, you know, if I make a rogue, it might be nice. Now, these things here used to dispel. Uh, I don’t think they do anymore. or they lower the the the timer, right? Look at my Yeah. So, if you look at my resist disease, right, and resist poison up there, those timers should be going down like faster than what you would normally expect theoretically. Maybe not. I did one over zero just so that we wouldn’t have any runners. Um, yeah, you can see there it went 2622 really quick. So, uh, we might have to rebuff every so often, but not a big deal. I’m literally regenerating back from the damage this thing is doing. And I am using my chant load out from uh, Nagafin, right? Like, I think this is going to be my main load out for now on. Uh maybe changed up a little bit when uh we get level 50, but uh for right now, this is just it’s just like the easiest way to play. There we go. Nothing. Nothing at all. What does this guy got? Loathing witch can drop a warrior wither twist along with all all the other pure casters and a bard and shadow. Um so at this point oh and we got a we got a spike go on too. I mean is he going to come? Yep. He’s it looks like he’s trying to come and join the party here. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So he can drop helmet. We don’t need the helmet, but uh he’s here nonetheless. Uh they don’t run, so we don’t have to worry about him like sprinting across the zone. So, uh hilarious as it goes, but [groaning] theoretically, we could get some good stuff here. Um but this is this is pretty much what I’m going to be doing for like the next few days, honestly. I’ve already I already got my three raid tokens at this point. Uh I need I need to get a piece of armor to plus seven. Uh is kind of where I want to get it, right? And most likely I want it to be the breastplate or not even get the breastplate here. Uh I’m trying to get enough armor that I I can handle face tanking uh you know like five or six to to 20 mobs in Plane of Fear, right? That’s uh that’s where I’m trying to get. Um and then maybe I might go kill uh Kazakh difficulty zero too while we’re while we’re there. But uh definitely uh definitely hilarious. Wow. We’re taking two of them and I haven’t even healed. Jeez. There we go. Oh, and we got a fire emerald ring, which is an auto sell for 107 platinum. Oh, all right. I I bought all my spells, so this is all this is all money forwards towards unlocking uh races now. And uh we’re going to I’m going to be doing the videos for unlocking just about every race except Halfling. I think that’s the only one I don’t think I can unlock in a timely manner. Oh, there’s heal. And I’m kicking myself for not doing a non-responding uh just so I could, you know, clear through this and thing. I wish I wish they had the reward in for the non-responding. I think that would probably be a more popular option honestly considering uh there’s this is you know there’s not a whole lot of uh a whole lot of reason to do you know the other ones unless you’re trying to farm an item but at this point I don’t need any items before this. Uh it’s pretty much raid items and beyond at this point. Uh maybe there’s a few little tweaks that I might go farm for focus items, but it’s, you know, pretty uh pretty set in stone what we’re going to be doing now. And this guy can drop a few midnight clad. So that’s the caster armor, which I actually might even be an upgrade over what we already got. I don’t know. So, and that rat that just walked by can drop the warrior bracer. The warrior bracer is actually pretty good, so it’ll replace uh this stuff. It’s got like fire and magic resist on it. But, as you can see, this is [laughter] this is pretty slow going, right? like uh I’m not going to, you know, I’m just, you know, I’m going to do about 20 20 minutes of this before, uh we call it and then I just, you know, farm this on my own until we get ready for fear. But uh it’s going to be a while. Yeah, especially with these drop rates. Oh my god. All right. What is this? This is junk. Junk. What do we got? Oh, we got an iron gas. Whisy drop arms for not [music] me. All right, let’s go right here. That’s a lich. That’s a chest. That’s an abhorrent. [music] Now, we don’t have invisa undead as uh this combo. So, it’s unfortunate. I’m just going to pull this and see what the [\h__\h] happens. Right. If we die, we go back to zone in and we do it again. It’s not a huge deal. I’ve sat up here and I face tank so many mobs at once that it’s it’s not bad. Now, I did that as a uh I did it as with a cleric in this combo instead of a druid, but literally I had none of the uh none of the bonuses that they provided for all these classes now. So, it is uh like a different game uh difficulty wise than what it was. It’s definitely a lot easier. There we go. Oh god, another spy golem. Oh man, I got nothing for him. I don’t have like a fire dot or anything. Memor. Oh, wait. Okay, he he decided not to come get join the party. Great. What’s that over there? Enchanter mob. We want to go kill this guy right here. So, that’s kind of like what we’re doing. We’re working our way like this. There’s some clerics in here we’re going to have to kill. But son of a [\h__\h] I thought I just killed that thing. Um, so we’re going to go in here and we’re going to we’ll use I don’t have it up right now. Uh, but we’ll have to split those off so we can kill him with lull and stuff. But that is going to be the plan there is to uh [laughter] is to use uh lol and charm to knock all those out in there. You can see here like I started killing uh Lord Nagafin with 0% experience, right? Uh from when we leveled up in uh doing soul B in that video a few few videos ago. And uh we’re already 46% in. And that’s why I like farming armor from 46 plus. And you know, doing, you know, I didn’t think I was going to be able to do those raids, but being able to do them makes it significantly easier. I’m just going to charm this guy, right? And then watch him kill this thing and probably get me a ton of ads. Right. There we go. I got another ad. All right. We’re good. We’re good. We’re good. I’m going to go ahead and heal though. What do these gas drop? Arms for. Yeah, they drop arms. So, I mean, they’re not worth not killing, right? The lustrous rusted armor would be fine. That would be an upgrade. It’s less AC than the warrior stuff, but it’s the same stats. Let’s get this guy dotted, too. Oh, here [\h__\h] Oh, I was going to say [\h__\h] me another one. There we go. And that it looks like this uh chest is upstairs. So we’ll go up there and grab that here a second. But this, you know, charm pet is, you know, definitely making things a little bit faster, which is great. I can’t tell what I can’t what tell uh spells I’m missing. I was missing that. Oh, we got an ethereal mist bracer, which is a cleric bracer. Um, terrible stats. Did you see those? I mean, absolute horseshit. All right, let’s get this one. Not another B. I like jumped up here without even looking. All right, charm broke. Ray charm and back on here. And he’s got drifting down easy. So, you know, having a bard makes this stuff really a lot easier than uh you might experience with other combos and stuff like that. Uh, I think that’s why when I did the uh pre-order beta, I I wasn’t having as much fun because I wasn’t playing my bar. All right, let’s get rid of this guy because he is he is just breaking charm too much. And see if we can get something else. All right, so we’re in this building. There’s the guy right there. Spy golem. Iron gas. I guest I don’t feel like it’s filtering don’t feel like it’s filtering the top [music] floor correctly right now. I had different settings on the uh the pre-order beta. So, as you can see, it is not the most riveting combat. You know, it’s not the most riveting anything really. It’s uh it’s, you know, just heads down grinding and stuff like that. So, you ask why I don’t stream. And I I literally get bored doing this. And you know, I love the game and everything, but don’t get me wrong, but this is, you know, this is just mind mind-numbing grinding, right? And it’s not difficult in any any way that could be difficult, right? Uh I could I could probably up the difficulty to like four and then it just becomes like a schllo, right? because I’m not going to have the gear meant for a four and so I’m not going to have like the DPS that’s meant for a four, right? So, uh, like I’m 46 still with, you know, guck guck item. I do have the dragon belt, but that’s about it, right? I am not I’m not really geared. So you got to you got to you got to think about it like in that context, right? Like if I if I was wearing, you know, plane of sky weapons, you know, definitely we’d go four because we’ have much better gear. But uh it is what it is. But this guy is just uh dying pretty good. So we might get a we might get a helmet. There’s something off him. But it’s it’s probably going to take me most of the way to 50 to uh actually get all the items I want from here. And then uh we’re probably going to do a re a reroll, right? We’ll probably uh you know, once we uh cuz once we get 50, we’re going to unlock shaman and then I’m probably going to drop druid for shaman. Rele up warrior shaman bard. And then uh and then once we have that, then we’re going to level up I think Paladin. I think I I didn’t do Paladin in any of the betas except for to [music] just just to do uh Fiery Avenger. And so I kind of really want to get that uh here. Let’s quick buff real quick just to get all these buffs on us. and then get rid of that and then grab call Harmony of Nature. All right, let’s try that. I think that was an AoE [music] one, too, so it might work better. All right. All right. Never mind. Fight this son of a [\h__\h] All right. Let’s get him. Uh, get him. Now, the cool thing is is that these version, this version of Plane of Hate doesn’t have complete heal. So, these guys aren’t going to be like take forever to kill. They’re just going to heal, but uh nothing too bad there. And you can see this gas is like making short work of this guy. Look at that. I don’t know what he’s doing, but he is he is schwacking that guy down like he owes him money on a Saturday night. And you know, he’s healing. He’s trying so hard to stay alive. He’s trying so hard to stay alive, but uh for some reason I cannot get a finishing blow on him. Oh, my iron gas broke. Here, I’m going to charm uh you. Come on. You [laughter] going to fail again? All right. Maybe I can’t charm that guy. All right. Well, let’s just do this because he’s wasting his mana healing my iron gas, which I’m going to recharge here in just a second. I bought another 25 or whatever the increment is, but I didn’t get them. And I want to I want to buy more so I can put all my planer armor in there so I can kind of keep track. Those will be those will be guides. So, they won’t go into the normal flow of the channel. They’ll be uh they’ll be on their own uh you know release cycle outside of uh this video series. So, those won’t take a million [music] years to come out. Uh probably going to run off to the cat place once we hit 50. uh you know since we’ll have some time before the next raid unlock to uh get more raid loot. But uh there is a necklace there that’s like regen everything. It’s not best in slot, so it’s not really fitting into my agenda, but uh it might be a nice little stop gap or a nice a leveling item we can use, right? Like it might be uh really good on a uh like a leveling build. Uh we’ll go pick up that and do the quests and stuff there. There’s some new quests in the XR city. So when we uh when we do the race unlock for XR, we’ll then do uh the quest there and we’ll start a new XR character at the same time. Why not? Maybe do uh like a Shadow Knight Shadow Knight Shaman Necro. Maybe maybe that’s what we’ll do for the that I don’t know yet. But uh I think I’m going to have a different like race in most of the different uh loadouts just to kind of vary it up a little bit. Uh so we can also kind of tell the difference between them as we’re uh doing different things and stuff like that. So, yeah. You see, it’ be interesting to see what we can uh come up with really. This guy is just not he’s like not losing health. Like, I’m slowed, right? I I can’t I don’t have anything mememed to uh cure the slow. That’s why we’re going to kill this guy right here. I don’t know what he keeps casting on us, but it is Definitely something. Now, I wonder if this since this guy’s an iron ghast really his model, maybe he’ll drop like arms in addition to uh possibly the shield. Now, he can also drop the shadow knight onehander, which is like a badass onehander. Um, blood moon, I believe, is the name of it. It is absolutely badass. It is like a 08 ratio. Uh pretty quick. Like pretty quick. It’s a point8 ratio like a 0.5 I think at uh at five. So it is like you know one of the best onehanders for a uh shadow knight which might lead us if we got one might lead us into making a shadow knight early just to have a fun little twink item to run around with. The items were not that great, but there is a quest item that’ll give you uh a plus4 endurance regen uh a plus4 endurance regen uh racer from the XR people. So, we’re going to do that when we make a uh guitar. But, obviously, it probably won’t be used because it’s going to be lower level. Let’s recharing very long right now. I need to get I meant to do it while I was in Gawk. I meant to get the uh negative me magic resist. I need to go back to paw or not paw uh black brow. All right, let’s charm this guy back and kill the chest, get no loot, send him on the Kurakai, and then run behind him. and then taunt him and dot him. Right. This like this is this is pretty uh pretty standard stuff, I would say. But this is what I’m going to be doing for uh you know, probably the next few days. Uh and as I get better gear, I’ll go up into higher difficulties. Uh, idea ideally at 50 I might do a a few runs on on sky to see if I can see how far I can progress. You got to really look at every single item and think about it. And we got a blue diamond. We’re going to auto store those. We’re going to need that later on for uh making probably some jewelry maybe. If not, we’ll sell them. I can’t remember if we need them for the vox quest. It might just be black uh or diamonds and maybe a black sapphire for that quest. All right. What do we got over here? We got a chest, a Kurkai, Banshee, and a Kurai. All right, perfect. Now, I’m going to go ahead and kill off my pet. Oh, we actually got one. All right, let me show you this item here. Uh, this is a thrown item. A 1420.7 ratio. Uh you can actually throw these like uh and there’s no ammo, right? Like it’s unlimited ammo on this server. And uh if you’re a monk, it’s a lot of DPS in all honesty. There you go. Oh, Berserker Bracer. All right, let’s go in here. Oh, we got attacked by a rat. Let’s kill this real quick. There we go. And what’s this cleric? Yeah, I’m kind of working my way back over here to this area. And does not look like we got respawn yet. So, I don’t know what the respawn time is up here, but it’s not 5 minutes. Uh maybe it’s no respawn. I don’t know. But uh ideally I want no response so I can clear the zone, right? And not have to worry about rors every time I run around and then just re get another one. That’s kind of be the way I do it. That’s the way I’m going to do fear uh in all honesty because fear on with cooldown is Oh, there we go. We got a warrior bracer right there. Perfect. All right, we got that and we got a ranger whip. All right. So, we’re going to get rid of uh the golden kit bracer. Replace it with this one. Now, that looks a pretty nice eight to the uh the good resist 13 AC some strength and decks. So, that’s going to be nice. Uh, we’ll just let it go. But, uh, you know, just very good, very calm, very chill. Right, we’re we’re already at 141 AA. Now, I’ve been using experience potions this whole time. I’m not going to be using any more since I’m pretty much done with all the AA I wanted for the the first part. you know, maybe uh steadfast will, you know. There we go. We grab another rank of that. And as an ogre, I gain 70% stun resistance from the back, right? Uh, you know, as a tank, you can get all the way up to 100%. So, you want to make sure you uh you get that if you’re not an ogre. It’s less important as an ogre, but I like the I’m going to be switching, you know, races around and stuff like that. Like I might leave this build an ogre, but then my next one is going to be with uh an XR or whatever race we unlock next, right? And uh just kind of go through and, you know, just have fun, you know, try different races out, see different things. I know some people just said, you know, do the frog lock and uh frog lock requires you to do a lot of guck [music] and so, you know, we’ll be doing a lot of guck to uh unlock frog lock. Uh it’s going to be pretty crazy there. But uh cuz you have to turn in those white phosphorus powders. We got like I think someone said 800 of them. Now, you can see here we’re getting some decent experience, right? 1.5 is about the same we were getting in soul P at this point. So, uh, there’s not much mobs higher level than this, right? Spell-wise, I don’t know if I’ll have enough room for all that, but uh it, you know, we’re getting to the point where like we don’t even have enough spell slots for everything, right? And uh you know obviously those are plus four but literally that’s I can walk into difficulty 4 befallen right now go down there and loot loot difficulty 4 uh befallen loot and that wouldn’t turn if I looted another four that would turn that into a five right. Uh so it’s just I don’t know. I I’ve got my quirks with this uh you know the itemization. Uh, so yeah, when you tell me that uh that I should go into a higher difficulty, well, I know that, but I just don’t feel like it’s going to be fast enough to kill as I’m killing right now.
