Hello and welcome to my legendary adventures in Norath. Today we’re going to continue leveling our shaman who hit 15 in crushbone. We’re in Nina 2 today. We’re going to try to get some J boots. That’s my goal for today. Uh and uh anything else that [laughter] happens to take place while we’re here. Uh we are going to use our uh guys to shrink down a little bit real quick. And uh let me get my overlay on so you can see our experience here. It is dark. Like I did I never noticed how dark it was in here. Uh but it is dark and doesn’t look like Ultra Vision is doing anything at all with this illusion. So maybe it’ll brighten up on the other side here. But uh looks like these things are what 15 at the zone in. So that’s perfect, right? Like levelwise. And uh we’re just going to Jeez, we killed him without even trying. Uh we’re just going to fight through it. Uh I kind of want to go down this path here. There’s the name there. And uh then circle back. Go up this way. Go this way, kill that named, and then go this way, kill that name. Just kind of like, you know, do the stuff I haven’t. Wow. This Okay, hold on. There’s got to be a system accessibility enhanced vision, maybe. There we go. All right, now we can actually see what the hell is going on. That’s going the wrong way, though. There we go. Now we can see. Hopefully that’s uh looking better for everybody out there. But uh definitely uh definitely that was the darkest I’ve ever seen in this game in all honesty. Um all right, let’s auto sell cloth and just can I keep making our way through here? I don’t know if does this ogre hate us? Well, I guess I attacked him anyway cuz we are an ogre, right? Like why is he why does he want to why does he want to tussle? Looks to be about 2% per. Now, uh my XP tracker will let us uh kind of do some analysis on that eventually uh when I start making different uh XP guides and stuff like that. So, we will uh we’re have we’re collecting a lot of data. Let’s just say that. Let’s just say that. Now, it’s looking pretty good. And the cool thing is is like like I’m I’m able to export like one of the reasons I did this is so I could export the data the raw data from my like my raid kills and then have those available for us when we do the the guide for the class, right? Because then we have all the numbers right there. we can kind of put it in a put it in a nice little neat table and uh have like you know this is what this build is capable of. This is what I you know was able to do right and uh have some nice little statistics there. So I’m excited to uh see that there. But you can see we’re about 45 DPS right now using uh the hate two-hander here. Sun of Fury Hallebertt from uh hate. It’s It’s not the best. I I’m so lazy. It literally takes like an hour to clear the trash to kill the CT, right? And that would be an easy uh easy one to do. Um I’m just I’ve killed uh I I should probably get a counter. And there’s there’s another idea. Uh we will uh we’ll let’s add a counter for uh let me write that down real quick. Counter let’s see counter for plane of sky boss kills. All right there we go. Now we can we can try to st you know track that metric right. So boss kills in plane of sky which will which will actually pretty interesting. I can see like get to get our, you know, personal drop rate, right? Cuz I’ve only been getting necromancer and mage crap. And it is very disappointing though. I did get the bard and the druid item, right? Like I’ve gotten two of the items uh for those classes, [music] but uh like it’s not too much, right? Flaming fist. Like if you were a monk, this is where you want to be right there. I’m going to loot it. Um cuz I meant to I meant to I meant to sell it. But doesn’t matter. We just keep killing. We’ll sell the next one probably. Actually, we can just destroy it, I think. Oh, what’s it worth? Absolutely nothing. Yeah. Absolutely nothing. There we go. Looking good. And what is that? Warn great staff auto sell. Now, one thing to note, if you’re like me and you’re trying to unlock XR, you can do fine steel. There’s a method with fine steel. We’ll talk about it in the in the XR unlock video again. But there is there is a method to get the ore through breaking down fine steel. I think it’s uh the weapon plus water and a forge and you get the high quality ore or something like that. And that is all fine and dandy, right? But as you can see, I don’t have a lot of slots and going, you know, farming, you know, farming a dungeon to get like fine steel weapons then to leave it, come back, break it, like it’s it’s it’s a tedious process, right? And I don’t think there is a a field kit uh smithing thing at this point, right? Where you can just do it now. All right, let’s heal up. Wait, these are these are a little bit higher level than I was expecting. But uh you know if you want to keep all your fine steel, we’ll do it with uh like one item probably just in the video to show it. But you can go to keynotes and just buy the ore for like 18 gold each, right? Which is is like double the price of a piece of fine steel, I think. But there is a uh there’s a post-processing thing you can do to like double it. So it works works out, I think. So, I’ll show I’ll show all that in the video here. Um, in uh 800 platinum, we will go do that. Um, and whatnot. All right. What do we get here? We got a tenderizer. Uh, this is a three uh.3 ratio. It’s not that great, but we’re going to auto sell that cuz I don’t need it. Don’t need it. Don’t want to carry it. don’t have the bag space to deal with things that I don’t need. Right? Uh it’s pretty much my process at this point. If I don’t if I’m not going to use it, it goes it gets destroyed or it gets sold, right? And speaking of which, we can destroy that, too. There we go. Oh god. All right. But going to do that one then. And what do we add aa wise? It says 13 unspent. Is that correct? That is correct. Perfect. It says 190 though. All right. We’re going to have to we’re going to have to figure that one out. I I think that that one’s going to be the hardest hardest value to actually [music] derive um from uh from a log, right? like especially if it doesn’t have like all the data from level one which I unfortunately uh did not uh turn the log on to like level two or three which I think at that point I’d already purchased the uh the fresh rank of what you call it so not too bad but it looks like it you know we’re about 25 kills a level right so these all this metrics and stuff are getting putting in my uh in my parser, right? So, I can kind of figure all this out and make more intuitive uh and more interesting guides. And this this will also get backported to EverQuest the the the main game or you know, I’m going to port this to parse that data since I play in Linux now and uh I rather run my own parser that I can, you know, tweak here and there with whatever I need. And so far I feel [music] like it’s the exact same numbers I remember from the private beta. So it seems to be pretty good there. Um and uh if there’s something else I can I can tweak on it, it is. But [music] uh I just I still don’t know if I’m going to put it on GitHub or anything like that to uh [music] do right like I I it’s 100% vibecoded and clot. I have not even looked at the code yet. Uh, I this is the first time I’ve ever The first time I’ve ever let Claude just 100% do something without even looking at it, right? My guess is the the file that runs this is like one, you know, like 5,000 lines of code, right? Like that’s how that’s how it gets if you don’t uh control it very well. So, uh, it could be, you know, an absolute, uh, nightmare of a code base, but, uh, [music] it’s working. And that’s to me all I really give a [\h__\h] about cuz, uh, I can I can play [music] and do. Like, now that I’ve played with it, I don’t mind it. I just don’t feel like it’s fair that a shaman has a negative effect on their spell, whereas um the [clears throat] uh druid and cleric get better heals that don’t do that, right? Like that’s just uh just like my opinion, right? like like I could see like maybe you know oh I got to upgrade it all the way to 10 to get rid of it but at the same time like I’m okay if that’s that but I I cannot get rid of the negative effects which seems counterintuitive to the whole system of how uh upgrading spells and everything works right because if you upgrade an item and it has a negative you will remove the negatives uh by Uh, I upgrading. Oh, shizzle. My nizzle. I just got a train. I don’t know what happened there. All right, we got to go to defensive. That’s too many reds for me. And I don’t have a heal. This is probably We’re probably going to bite the dust here. Like, look at this. This is crazy. I’m just going to chain heal and hopefully uh works out. Even with uh even with uh ogre stun immunity, we are still getting interrupted here. And I’m fizzling spells. I don’t even I don’t even understand that one. But we need a bigger heal. I’ll tell you that. I would invest moes in this, but honestly, it’s not worth it. Yeah. There we go. Oh, we got a new We got a moat there. All right. Respawn. What is this? And then we’re going to Guys, now that was a big pull, right? Like that was all reds. Um definitely definitely unexpected. There we go. Perfect. Now, uh, I added I I keep saying I, but it’s literally Clawudette. Like, I call it Claudette because I gave it a female voice, right? But, uh, let’s see. I added or it added the ability to track moes per session now. So, I can see I got one lesser moat so far this session. And then loot per session. Right, this is what I’ve gotten on since I’ve gotten on. Uh, I need to total up the platinum, right? My goal is to figure out like how much how much uh, you know, like how much coin am I making per session, right? Cuz I I’m actually blowing through coin quite a bit. It’s about 2,000 to 3,000 platinum per class to buy all the spells if they have spells. Uh, wizard and druid are going to be on the high end of that because they have more teleport things that cost a lot. So, there’s a little bit of uh, you know, math and stuff involved there, trying to figure out if I make a class, do I have even have the, you know, money to buy all the spells for it and stuff like that. Now, as long as I play warrior, I’m pretty much set on gear, so I don’t have to worry about gear. Uh, but when I switch to like say a shadow knight or a paladin, I’m going to have to go farm their gear. Now, I have not I have not even gone to uh open world fear or uh armor farming fear. I was able to get all my hate armor in hate. So, uh the warrior stuff in hate without having to do any of that. So, that is kind of like a a luck of the draw I got because I I kind of figured out that the grandmaster drops the breastplate and legs. So, I just farmed the Grandmaster and uh that worked out pretty well for me, but if I was playing a paladin, I’d have to probably go and farm uh fewer to get the uh remaining pieces and stuff like that. There’s another moat. Let’s auto store that. What is that? That was a lesser potential. I don’t know why they’re not auto storing. [music] Auto sell. All right, which way we go? Oh, got this guy. This guy will drop the the gloves that we destroyed or the the the hand weapon. But I mean, it’s free experience. He’s just like a he’s a level 25 wizard, so might as well. So, we’re 13 aa. Oh, what do we want to get? So, you can see here like I’ll be at 90% on the next one, which I’m going to grab that. It’s only 6A. We’re going to grab that. The next one is 100% stun read uh endurance from all around. Right. I don’t know why I got so many comments from people telling me that it’s not 100%. It’s probably because you’re playing a non-tank and you’re you’re just not understanding what I’m doing. But, you know, it’s all fine. It’s just it’s just frustrating to have people, you know, leave a comment that’s completely wrong. Right. Um that’s interesting. I can’t use it. So, I’m just going to auto sell it. There’s lag. Okay, I’m lagging or something. All right, we have nine more AA. Now, if I was dual wielding, this is where we we would go right away. Uh, but we’re going to go with critical affliction, which will give us another 3% crit chance on our dots, which is a massive DPS gain to the bard part of us because uh we’re constantly doing bard songs. There we go. So that’ll that’ll be a pretty nice upgrade over time. Uh probably, you know, it’s it’s one of those kind of just it happens. But when we get shaman maxed out, we’ll have more crit damage on dots, right? Which fits pretty well into this build, right? uh druid was I think an extra 3% crit chance for spells and damage and dots. Whereas shaman’s going to give us uh I think it’s like 30% cascade uh 10% 20. Yeah, it’s going to be 30% extra crit damage. Now, what I’m going to probably do after I level shaman is probably level necromancer. So, we’re going to do uh probably warrior bard necromancer and we’ll level that up. Uh I don’t know if I’ll have XR then hopefully hopefully I start making some money here soon and uh we’ll uh we’ll do that now. Then we can make an actual load out of warrior shaman necromancer and we should be able to clear every all the content with that build. Uh that is a very strong build and stuff [music] like that. But uh we’re not done with the druid. Uh we’re going to we’re going to I’m going to try to push all of those. That’s that means we’ll be doing you know all these bosses without slow. Uh, I might go pick up the uh there’s a hammer you can get from uh a quest in in the fool swamp that’ll give you a 20% slow uh which might be worth doing there. But uh definitely uh something to have in the bag. Like we have the barge slow, but it it obviously does not land on everything. So there and at some point we hit 16. Some point we hit 16. I don’t know what is going on. Now I have 194. It says I have 192. So we’ll figure we’re we got to we got to pick that fix that bug. But definitely working out pretty well here though. Maybe not even track that cuz it’s it is definitely uh probably going to be misleading. I would like I have only parsed my log, right? So, if I parse somebody else’s log, it might might not have as much. Here’s the kitchen uh tool belt. This is a 12% haste belt. I’m going to loot one of those and probably give it to the guild. Somebody [music] probably should give a lot more of this stuff to the guild. But every time I ask anybody who wants anything, I don’t get any messages. Uh so, plus this is lower level stuff than anybody can get, honestly. So, you’d have to be like level one to probably want it. And I I don’t recommend anybody like hanging around in a dungeon trying to like plus five this nonsense cuz you’re [music] going to replace it really quick. So, I don’t know. I have a different I have a different outlook than a lot of people. Like I can download it on Reddit when I when people are like, “Oh man, I’m going to spend all my time here.” I’m like, just why would you waste your time farming, you know, farming this item over and over again when, you know, you should just go get experience, right? Like, I’m I don’t I don’t get it. Um, it just doesn’t doesn’t make sense to me. But I can I guess I can understand that, you know, people want whatever edge they can they can get. It’s just, you know, you’re not going to uh you’re not getting much of an edge in all honesty. Which room is that in here? Oh [\h__\h] that guy was coming right at us. [laughter] [gasps] Like, like I feel like this game is meant to, you know, go back, you know, go back and play [music] through all these things differently. uh all the different dungeons and stuff, you know, increasing the difficulty every time you do it uh until you can do four comfortably. We could probably be doing four right now, but everything’s red and I I really don’t want to suffer through fighting uh multiclass beast lords that keep us perma slowed, right? I just don’t really want to do that. Uh, while I’m making a video, I’m trying to pay attention to that. I’m gonna autos the crap. That is two silver. Not worth it. There we go. You can see here we we’re not having too much too much of a difficulty of a time, right? Like it’s going pretty well. We just hit 17. Another large ball. Those were auto sell. All right, we’re just going to swack these guys down, right? Like, it’s pretty much it. I’m going to go offensive because we got a lot of endurance. We needed like the burn and I can just heal in between uh swings. My bashes are doing okay. Woo! Look, there we go. Some hundreds. There we go. Loving it. Auto sell that. Now, I think you could probably get 30 here, right? Like this stuff’s 23. So you probably get, you know, into the 25, right? Easy. That’s just right over here. Like these ones over here are even higher level. And then there’s some more stuff up here. So there’s Nina, the old wooden spear auto sell that. So uh there’s definitely definitely experience to be had here. I feel like this is better than uh Crush Bone. I mean, we’re getting three, four, 5% a kill here. The mobs are higher level, though, so that, you know, that’s where that translates in, but you know, it is definitely I feel like there’s more mobs and more density than Crush Bone. Crush Bone feels kind of sparse compared to this. So, you know, it’s different different zone, different styles of stuff. So, it just depends on uh you know what you’re looking for. There we go. And it’s working pretty well, honestly. 53 DPS. We’re uh we’re not too bad. I I guess I could click my I could start clicking these uh damage shield potions, which will bump our damage shield up a little bit. Let me do that here afterwards. They don’t last very long and I usually only use them on bosses, but might as well. I bought way more materials than I was expecting cuz they’re actually expensive. The uh one of the materials in there is actually expensive and I bought like two two or three stacks of it without even thinking and blew all my platinum on uh on that which is kind of funny. But, uh, all right. I guess the priestess is a healer, so she’s swacking that down there. All right, let’s do this. Uh, divine. [screaming] This is where we get free heals, right? There we go. Let’s swack this one down. Oh, sh. [groaning and screaming] There we go. All right. We got a shiny metal key. We got a bronze breastplate. I’ll sell that. Uh, dark male coat, which is actually a pretty nice little jacket there, but it’s three platinum, so we’ll sell that. And we got the traveling sorettes, which are nice pair of boots. They nerfed them. I believe they were a little bit stronger at one point in time. Um, but they uh I think they nerfed them. So, I saw to sell that, too. I think they had more stamina and they was it was like better. It was better than other like planer boots and it was it was ridiculous, right? There’s a lot of ridiculous things like that going on, but you know, it is what it is. It’s all fun. It’s all fun and dandy, right? And I wish we got these at uh lower levels, these unbound. I wish they carried over for every uh you know, whatever class you’re doing. So, if it’s if you already hit 50, you already unlocked it, right? It doesn’t feel like it does, but would be nice. All right. Now, that should be all of those guys. I think we did the whole the whole loop there. So, should be able to come out here. That door. Oh, she’s over there. That’s where we got to go. Let’s go into balance so we can get some endurance back and throw a heal up while we wait for Cleave to res re reset. Look at that. Lovely. [cheering] When we get higher level, we’ll be able to drop like one uh shaman dot on a mob and it will die. Uh we can like literally ignore it and it’ll die, right? Like while we fight another mob. So, uh, eventually it gets pretty strong just doing this poison dot. And that’s pretty much the only, uh, what I I’ll do the whole time. All right, we got another 2A there, which I guess we’ll wait on those since we don’t have anything else to spend it on. I’m probably going to go, where are we going now? I feel like I should max out critical flurry, right? or cur combat fury. I think that’s that’s where I should go there. Circle circle breathing. This is endurance regeneration. Um I feel like maxing that out is important too because uh I put one point into it during one of the eye fights and I noticed I could notice the endurance regen. I don’t even know how to how it makes sense. I was going, it was like my endurance was going down so slow. Uh much slower after I bought that. It was It was definitely interesting. So, we’re gonna max that out. But, we also need to get combat agility and combat stability maxed out and uh natural durability and whatever else durabilities we can pick up because uh those are going to be pretty important. And on in all honesty, um I am better. So, I don’t need it. But, uh, definitely, you know, on your first play through that might be Whoa. I’m not 100% sure what I just did, but I’m lagging. Think of it like a V in front of you to make sure you hit everything in front of you with theory cleave, right? Uh the bard AoE is 360. Don’t have to even worry about that. Just it works. Now, mages, I find mages are like the most annoying mobs to fight because they they actually nuke because they got nothing else to do. Uh, and that is that makes them a little bit more difficult, I think. All right. So, I believe we need to go downstairs to get the key and then we come back up. Look at how many mobs. We’re probably just We probably just died. We’re going to go uh inversion. I can’t even get snails healing off. Wow. Look at that. Oh my gosh. I can’t get a I can’t even get a heal off with all the uh all the stuff we got. This is crazy. I don’t even have attack on. So, that’s even stupider of me. We’ll have to run back down here. But since the uh the shaman heal is terrible in the fact that it snares you, um unlike unlike the druid and cleric versions that are better heals, uh you got to wait a second. You can click it off. Obviously, I’m I’m I’m extremely lazy. All right, let’s go through here. Let’s just run. Let’s ignore that flame guy. He’s just trash throwing all his stuff to the trash. We’re going to go right here. Look at all these blue mobs just pack piling up. All right, once they’re all right here, we’re going to click [music] striker. I’m going to heal. Now, I did striker because striker does bigger damage for special attacks, i.e. cleave and kick and bash. You can see how crazy it is. Some of these damage like 118 crit there on all the mobs. They all got hit for over 100. And we’re going to go back to balance. So, we have no endurance. and we’re doing, you know, AoE the whole time, right? Like AoE is the best way to best way to go uh for leveling, right? Bossing different story, but leveling, you know, you’re want to you’re going to want to AoE as much as you possibly can. All right, so we’re going to go this way, this way, this way, straight through here, click the door, and we’re back to where we were. And we we’re beating respawn on some of the mobs. All right. Door through there. No, this time I’m going to go into this room. And we’re going to kill these guys first. This is I think this is where I screwed up. Now, these are all yellow. And I should probably go defensive. Uh there’s two reds in here. I don’t know where they are, but uh all these mobs attacked when I pulled that other room. So, this will help with that. I’m going to tab target and I’m going to uh try to put poison on each of these just to kind of speed up the kills there. Um, I’m going to go divine cuz why not? I’m spending mana. Might as well make some mana back now. Everybody’s dotted. All right. Perfect. Look at that. Look at that. Would you look at that? And we’re at four AAS, which means I can pick up this one right here. What is that? The mask auto cell train. That puts us at another 3% crit, which I don’t know what our actual crit rate is right now. My parser says I have a 6% chance, but I’m not I’m not 100% sure that’s accurate yet. Um, all right, let’s see here. What do we got? Oo, less mobs. All right, can we kill this? We’re just going to uh peel.
